This isn't an actual error that hinders the installation by itself but it indicates that the list was compiled on an older WJ version that had issues with generating and storing the slides correctly. So resetting won't fix that and the "error" can more or less safely be ignored. The only possible "harmful" part of the error is not related to the message but the fact that it implies the list is from way before WJ 3.5 which fixed a severe bug with file extraction process. This issue didn't affect all lists and all lists without it will be able to install just fine. But if a list is older than WJ 3.5 and you get a hash error then that list needs to be updated for the newest WJ version. Also while you could still install the list by using WJ 3.4 instead it will result in an installation with at least some broken assets that weren't extracted correctly.
Wabbajack needs so much work. I like the way you say just hunt the failed downloads down manually, like I got one and not 300 regularly. At this point I might as well build my own list.

I tried downloading the Nordic Souls modlist several times but it always stops downloading at the last 1-3 mods at the very end. No error or failure message it just doesn't download anymore and there's no download speed icon at the upper right corner anymore either. Any ideas?
You are so right about it being finicky. I reinstalled fallout new vegas two different times, reinistalled Wabbajack and nothing worked. I was following the online guide to the T. Halfway through your video, I noticed that you separated your mods into named locations before installing there, so I decided to try creating a folder within my C:/Game Mods folder and it worked. Sometimes it is as simple as trying to install into a new location! Thanks!

Missing game file Data_ccbgssse037-curios.bsa. I have this error on many modlist. Have reinstalled skyrim and re downloaded creation club content and creation kit too. Have verified the files. Have deleted than launched game to re download and nothing works this file won't download? Is it the version of skyrim these list use? If so they should be taken down until fixed.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, my wabbajack wasn't installing because I didn't have the cc stuff installed properly. If it still isn't working for anyone, the log file is very important. If it's failing cause its unable to download bsa, esl, or esm files. Then your cc contents aren't probably downloaded or installed propperly.

I hadn't bothered to see what that wabbajack was. It is an autoinstaller of predefined mods. I mean, what it does is that everyone who downloads wabbajack Skyrim will look the same, it takes away the beauty of using mods, being able to make Skyrim a different game for any user. I don't know if I'll ever try it, but all the errors and solutions are very well explained, good guide.
That tip about using the root level of a drive is solid gold. Never would have thought of that. Still, it's not creating a downoad folder inside my mod folder. I found a recent version of Wabberjack that doesn't care about administrative privileges, but it doesn't work. LOL The official version works great--so far.
that curios fix did nothing for me. wabbajack wants the lowercase version but steam and the creation clue will ONLY install the uppercase version even when validating files. nothing changes, it stays broken
If this helps anyone, I made the mistake of making my target and install folder the same folder so it would delete my modlist everytime to clean all folders and files aside from temp and downloads. Drove me nuts. So, start the mod list from a separate folder from the one you're installing into or it will be deleted everytime and you will get "error can not find mod list". I guess I missed that detail that wabbajack can't be in the same folder your installing into or it will get cleaned and erased right before the install.

I've installed Eldergleam successfully and yet when you run skse it doesn't launch. It tries and come up with the unlock screen, waits about a minute then dies, there's no crash logs as skyrim doesn't actually open :/
I've tried downloading 2 modpacks from wabbjack in the past month multiple times and they keep failing to install. Once I close wabajack I cant go back to the install failed page and have to redownload the modpack all over again. When I go into the folder where the downloads are there is no other files except compressed winRAR files, no MO2, no other files just the compressed mods. Idk what to do at this point
@@Eric149498 hey so it does work but the tutorials don’t explicitly tell you that you need to download it like this. Step 1. You download it via online which is the left most option, let it download and it may say installation failure that’s ok. Step 2. You then go back to the main page and download from disk. This will download any missing mods etc. Step 3. If you get an installation failure again check the text log on the left which you can then use to discern if you having missing mods that you may need to manually download. Side note: check if a modpack requires anniversary upgrade mods. If it does I kept getting problems with the rare and curious mod. You should follow everything else in the video.
Hi, I installed Eldergleam with Wabbajack but when I start the game I see everything black then the menu appears and if I click on start the initial scene is completely dark. If I go to Racemenu the head of the khajiit is missing, only the eyes are visible and even the northern hair is transparent. After the installation I reloaded the language to Italian, will that be the problem? How do I set the mod in Italian and have the game in Italian?

I cant seem to figure out how to manually download the mods which failed to download. I get a pop-up tab which has file names of said mods as well as links, but none of the links lead anywhere. I will click on the mod link assuming it'll be as easy as downloading, dragging the file to the correct folder, then rinsing and repeating that process until I've managed to manually download all of the missing mods. But I genuinely have no clue where to find these missing mods and I can't find any straightforward video anywhere that is covering the same problem as I am having. Let alone anyone who can actually answer my question in terms I can understand. I am relatively new to the modding scene, so I'm not exactly a wizard with this stuff. I managed to download STALKER GAMMA through a few tutorials which was a lot more of a process than using Wabbajack. But even still, this literally has me stuck in a spot where I have no clue what to do.
I have a wierd problem. I tried installing morrowind modlist with Wabbajack and it required 19gb. I had 100+gb when I first installed it. It didnt work so I tried reinstall the modlist 3 times. Now the problem is.... I now have 47gb space left after I completely removed every file and uninstalled it. After every try it seems to save the files on the drive somewhere even if I remove the install folder I created with wabbajack? Where is these mysterious files that takes up space on my drive? Is this a virus?

Have gone through a complete uninstall of both games and deleted extra folders, trying to download from Wabbajack and get Unable to Download for all but 3 mods (all Mod Organiser related). What am I doing wrong ??? Have rechecked everything on my SSD drive with regards to the reinstall process and everything is okay. My antivirus software is not interfering and don't have any killer apps. Both game versions are the latest but still not installing the main mod list (except Mod Organiser). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏.

Very good and helpful video but Instaling 300 mods manualy makes auto mod install useless in my case. I might have done something else wrong but I do not know what.
Had the download faile dproblem for multiple files, impossible to go through manually, i just closed and reopened wabbajack and logged off and on again to nexus mod and it worked. If it doesnt repeat the process a couple of times untill it just works.. Turn any VPN is you are using it while downloading.
Tried to install Wabbajack, Life in the Ruins, but the majority of the mods are unable to download :( No way am I going to spend all day manually downloading each mod to see if it works. Literally. The damn thing only downloaded 2 mods.

Anyone else have problems with Wabbajack using up all of your RAM? I have 32gbs of RAM and it uses up 100% of it while downloading after about 20-30 minutes.

My $0.02. I was stuck on the error message, "Failing to Download Mods" when trying to configure TWW. From reviewing the Wabbajack log file, it contained the list of mods to download, and then I found this error messages, "Wabbajack.Networking.Http.HttpException: Http Error Unauthorized - Unauthorized". From the Settings in Wabbajack, I had to logout / login of Nexus Mod. The Login button for Nexus Mod changed from Yellow to Green, and the downloaded started.
The wabbajack mod list that I want to download refers to a corrupted mod ("Ragnarok Reshade-104546-1-0-1699735029.zip") which contains cyrillic characters which always fails with Sanity Check Error during extraction. How can I fix that? Great video tho, liked it!
The only error I get is with wunduniik that it says wabbajack can't find skyrim.exe and skyrims dlcs ( fixed the problems i was having thanks to your video )
I did everything that people said downloaded in right spot and it didn't unpack anything I tired running the manager through the 7zip extractor and it failed I give up with modding this shit makes me suicidal

I have nexus prem and I have been downloading a modslist since 11am it is currently 8pm and the modslist is still not done downloading....

I keep "turning Wabbajack on and off" with the continuous errors of it not being completely installed.

mine are being installed compressed and the mod organizer doesn't recognize the files, I'm used to using nolvus, this one has been complicated

Tried to install Wabbajack, Life in the Ruins, but the majority of the mods are unable to download :( No way am I going to spend all day manually downloading each mod to see if it works. Literally. The damn thing only downloaded 2 mods.

I love how Wabbajack will just fail 1 out of 3 times for no apparent reason. Whether or not this program will work is a dice roll.

Anyone else have problems with Wabbajack using up all of your RAM? I have 32gbs of RAM and it uses up 100% of it while downloading after about 20-30 minutes.

My $0.02. I was stuck on the error message, "Failing to Download Mods" when trying to configure TWW. From reviewing the Wabbajack log file, it contained the list of mods to download, and then I found this error messages,
"Wabbajack.Networking.Http.HttpException: Http Error Unauthorized - Unauthorized".
From the Settings in Wabbajack, I had to logout / login of Nexus Mod. The Login button for Nexus Mod changed from Yellow to Green, and the downloaded started.

The wabbajack mod list that I want to download refers to a corrupted mod ("Ragnarok Reshade-104546-1-0-1699735029.zip") which contains cyrillic characters which always fails with Sanity Check Error during extraction. How can I fix that? Great video tho, liked it!
The only error I get is with wunduniik that it says wabbajack can't find skyrim.exe and skyrims dlcs ( fixed the problems i was having thanks to your video )

I did everything that people said downloaded in right spot and it didn't unpack anything I tired running the manager through the 7zip extractor and it failed I give up with modding this shit makes me suicidal
are you also use win11 by any chance??
