Here's my review of the Bumblebee Movie MEGATRON...BUT JOBBY, MEGATRON NEVER APPEARED IN THE m-I know. The Monocrat MT-01 MEGATANK is a third party Transformers figure that's essentially a glorified piece of fanart, since Megatron never appeared in Bumblebee. But who said fanart can't be good?

That black goop on the elbow was most likely ratchet grease. They use it so tight ratchet joints won't be scraping against each other with how much friction they have. My guess is it was just a little spillage.
Definitely better than when I was a kid and my dad bought some industrial grease to fix the garage door and it was dark red. Looked like someone had murdered our cat and used its blood as lubricant.

The cannon not being posable on the tank mode kinda makes sense because it *DOES* look like Metal Slug tank.

I still don’t get how people are less interested in your videos not about transformers. The quality is always top tier and the figures are often really interesting because I would never think of looking at them myself but then you show how cool they can be if you step outside your comfort zone and give it a chance.

What I like about the "battlemask" face option, I say for my head canon. It works well with his background/lore, being that he was a gladiator on Cybertron. But knowing Megatron, this man doesn't need no such thing
*My* headcanon is despite appearances Megatron is actually Starscream's sub and that's his gimp mask. The twist none of us saw coming.

The "battlemask" does like cobra commander mask.
This is one of my favorite Jobby reviews in awhile, not because of the content, but just because you can really tell Jobby was enjoying himself and this figure. In some of his lines you could really hear his glee and it makes me smile.

@@bizarreutahraptor Because Hasbro still counts the Bayverse as the official continuity despite the massive inconsistencies, which means in both Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts he was in Hoover Dam with the Allspark
The sword is actually a German sword called the Zweihander, it was made to break other swords in combat which in my opinion definitely suits Megatron with him being a gladiator and pretty much warlord
Also, Zweihander in German means "Two-hander"
It would've been amazing to not only see Megatron in Bumblebee, but him using the sword to shatter his opponent's sword

Bumblebee has the best designs, and this replicates the designs perfectly! I hope the beast wars movie coming out takes a note from bumblebee and combines the classic designs with the more modern ones. Great review!
ROTB is indeed doing that.
We’ve seen leaked merch artwork for Prime and Bee. Prime looks pretty much still like his BBM design with modifications and new parts. Bee while a camaro still is simplified and has smooth elements and parts from his BBM design. Arcee and Nightbird was also described when the movie was announced as G1 looking.

My only problem are the faces.
Bee, Optimus, Jackie, Soundwave and Shockwave look great, but everyone else who usually has a humanoid face looks weird.
Arcee especially looks like she has a doll's face and it just looks creepy.

@@Mekboy_ComputerMonster The others never bother me really, Wheeljack I think looks really good, but I get why. Arcee I agree with. It’s the eyes and face that do it. I think she’s hopefully have a new face model for ROTB considering she’s a main cast member and not a late addition.

The reason so many transformers don't ship with batteries is to avoid running afoul of customs as batteries are considered a dangerous item if they get too hot or leak acid.
Plus mint in box collectors hate them as it forces you to take them out if you're keeping them for a long time.
Fun fact, Travis Knight and the bumblebee team actually wanted megatron in the opening of the film but were told no as, during productuon, bumblebee was meant to be a prequel to the bay films

This is instantly one of my favorite Jobby reviews, you can tell he loves this figure and the reference to the MP-36 review in the end was awesome. 10/10 review.

Honestly, Jobby is Honestly my favorite toy review youtuber because of how lively and not too cheesy he is. Other youtubers like emgo (too childish) or primevsprime (too bland) aren't very exciting that much. Also, the kind of content he does works for his character.
not to mention that he has high value in his production and it doesn't feel amateurish. He's really improved over the years and is by far one of the best reviewers IMO.
plus Jobby keeps it shorter, scripted and straight to the point with good editing compared to the other reviewers you mention who just mostly upload their raw reviews that can go to like 30 minutes for just a simple figure

The only reason PvP gets the views he does is because he gets stolen/leaked figures from Takara/Hasbro factories thats it (I’ll give him this he shows off the figures better than Chefatron).
R.I.P ‘G.G’, I’ll always remember him as many things, a parrot, a comedian, an actor, a guy who read aloud the best iteration of 50 shades of grey you’ll ever hear. But most memorably a talking smoke alarm that screamed at your kids about fire safety and not smoking and was also absolutely shitting terrifying, please help me I hear him in my sleep!!
I know that jobby love megatron, Optimus prime etc etc. but i really wish he could’ve review other characters to give them some shine too.

Hey Jobby! I wanted to say I really liked how you had the camera pan to each section of the figure as you worked on it during the transformation section! You put a lot of work into your craft and seemingly little things like that really show it!!
I love megatrons design here it calls back to his days as a miner definitely not built for war but instead he built himself into a war machine and the sword is a nice hint to his gladiator days

Coming back to this after seeing the actual BBM version. this design clears by a mile.
That transformation is one of the coolest I've seen on your channel so far. Love the hidden tank tracks. I feel like normally you'd just put them onto the backside of the legs which is also perfectly fine, but the moving plates just feel premium.
11:07 that's grease jobby, id say this figure was pre greased, this might be the most perfect Megatron if not most perfect Transformer figure, here's hoping we can get a new Megatron that transforms into a pistol
We know that Rise of the Beasts will have Beast Wars Megatron, though if I'm right he was said to be a snake not a T-Rex, but that still gives us the chance for the head and tail arms.
I'm excited to see what he's gonna look like, especially if they're keeping the robot mode more BW accurate that will be interesting to see, yeeees.

@@samurexatlas7373 I just get this feeling that if the binder art and the Inca wall is correct my theory is the Predacons are entombed and thats why the Maximals stayed on Earth. And we see them only in flashbacks.
Especially since we have heard nothing about them but the other 3 factions we have and know who’s in them.
Either way if they are in the present day part of the film or flashbacks only going by the Inca wall BW Megatron will be a T-Rex.

besides this thing being....ALL AROUND PERFECT. I think my most favorite feature is the details when in tank mode. it may be just me but the details to me give the impression that his tank form, wasn't always a tank form. it makes me remember the comic series that portrayed megatron as a mining drill/mining truck. and it makes me wish for a bonus weapon set that lets you either attatch a dozer scoop or drill. plus a flail to you know, tie in that g1 goodness.

Jobby, I basically stumbled across your channel 2 days ago and as a huge G1 fan, I was expecting an informative, conservative review of all types of g1. You sir are completely insane. I was literally having breathing problems from laughing so hard. Not only did you earn a new subscriber but a subscriber that must share with my kids who in turn continue through process. IMO the armor should’ve been a brighter silver rather than gunmetal grey, it would’ve added some much needed contrast to his palette. The design itself looks amazing but everything gets lost in the mass of dark grey.
