im following along with the video. the process is not the same. im not getting the same notifications as you. app and options are different, im having trouble working out the push note to post later
@@mattduncan5500 Hi Matt! We have since updated the application and you can find an updated playlist on our channel. You can auto publish reels now! However for the push notification, toggle off auto publish and that will prompt a manual publish where you can add in the presets if you’d like to do it via push notification.

I am confused. So actually it doesn't really auto schedule? I mean we need to be attentive on the day it's gonna be posted on, and then manually add music to it, THEN post it ourselves, isn't it? Please clear this doubt for me..

We made an update on our tool and you can schedule TikTok, Reels and UA-cam Shorts with Metricool and the tool will autopublish your content.
With TikTok only on business account, with personal account you need to make the last step on the app.

@@manichaurasia3086 Yes, you can't add music on your Instagram Reels from Metricool. You can record your Reels on Instagram app and then you can schedule on Metricool.

But that’s not how it works is it Rachael. I have just joined and I find it auto posts reels to Facebook without music. Which means I have to get it deleted. 2nd problem is it alerts me to post my Instagram reel but I can’t post there because again no music. So I have to go post from my gallery. What’s the solution to this please?

Can you adjust the thumbnail for each IG Reel and TikTok video and move the thumbnail to you nicely on the IG account page or any select the moving GIF on TikTok which will appear on the TikTok account page?
Can you auto post the first comment on IG with hashtags?
You can autopost the first comment on IG with hashtags. For IG, you can upload a thumbnail or select a frame and then on TikTok you are able to select a frame of your video. :)
Hi Rachel, Thanks for the tutorial. One detail I hope you can address. YT shorts thumbnails. Are they randomly picked from the video or is there a way to choose which frame we want to use as a thambnail. I usually put mine upfront of the video with 0.5 senconds long and then make sure it is selected on the YT app. Otherwise, even YT mess it up. If anyone else using metricool and can help with this question, I very much appreciate it. Thanks.
Hello! They are randomly picked for the video. Choosing a cover for the Short is a limitation we have from the UA-cam API. We hope they will change this in the future so we can add the feature. :)

Is there a way to post an Instagram reel with a trending sound if I'm using Instagram for recording, editing, and text on screen?
If you upload your base video into Metricool and then schedule for a push notification, you can add all the finishing touches within the app, including a trending sound. :)

Hello! You cannot due to the API limiting 3rd party tool access. If you want to choose a specific sound, you would need to post manually. We hope they will update and allow us access in the future! 🤞
I can't add sound to my reel from the app for IG or is it only available for TikTok?
Hello! You can't add trending sounds from any 3rd party schedulers due to API limitations. If you require a sound, you either need to already have it edited in or post manually with a push notification so you can add in the sound last upon time of posting. :)
Is there any possibility of getting banned from UA-cam or Instagram for scheduling reels, so making contents posting authomatically?

No! You can repurpose it to the platforms that you specify. So whatever platform is your starting point, you would save it from that platform and then repurpose to other platforms of your choice. :)

You can perform some edits within our editor but recording and majority editing needs to be done externally!
When doing this maually does the first comment text also go into the post?
You could put it in the caption since you’ll technically be copying everything over and pasting it in as you’d like when doing it manually.
This is awesome! I've been using CapCut to edit on my phone. Is this doable all from the Metricool phone app, to avoid having to send videos from my phone over to my computer and then back again?
Thank you! We do not have the ability to edit reels within our app. The videos must be uploaded as is or you can schedule a push notification for the video and finish your remaining edits within the app you are posting to. :)

I want to know if I film a video on my phone, can I just use the Metricool app to schedule it or do I need to do the scheduling on my desktop Metricool? I prefer to not have to send my phone edited with CapCut video over to my desktop, then schedule it there to go back to my phone with a notification from Metricool. I'd rather just use my phone. First the Metricool app, then the notification for my Insta or TT, but never having to use Metricool desktop for my video posts.
So... you're not really scheduling it because you have to manually put in the sounds. So you're just kind of preparing a post and then when you're ready to publish, youre going in and doing the last minute changes. which means you'll have to go in everytime you want to post. which defeats the purpose
Might as well just have it as a draft in-app and have a reminder set up.
You can upload the video already with the sound attached and schedule it out that way but if you do want to add the sound directly from the app, then that is when our push notification feature comes in.
@@metricoolapp so you're saying that using the app if we're using original audio we can schedule a post to go live say in 3 days at 3pm without having to come back at the posting time to make it go through on Tik Tok?

@@metricoolapp with original audio you loose the ability to go viral, or get linked to other users through the trending sound(or music)
its going to be shown to more people when you add the sound via the app.

One of the features I like about Later and Publer is the ability to customise the captions for each platform. Is it not available for metricool?

@@metricoolapp It doesn’t work sadly. When I want to post the same video on instagram and tiktok. I can not put more text for my instagram post otherwise tiktok will not be posted. Same for other socials. Any way to get around this??
@@moviemix3215 You can duplicate it, so you can customize the copy for each post and even choose different hashtags for each one.

Hello! You are able to upload a thumbnail for IG Reels. :) You can also select a cover for both IG Reels and TikToks which is a frame from your video. Uploading thumbnails for Shorts is not yet supported via the APIs.

Hello! You can definitely schedule multiple reels to publish at the same time!
Is there a work around for using trending sounds for Instagram
In terms of trending sounds, we recommend already adding the sound in so you can fully schedule it out. However if you would like to pull the sound directly from IG, we suggest the manual publish. This will send a push notification to your phone and then you can manually add the sound in the app. ☺️
@@metricoolapp "adding the sound in " wont tag the artist/creator of the audio tho, therefor have no ability to trend from the audio (i'd imagine)
@@HOTTIPSDESIGN If the audio is the same as an existing sound in the IG library, IG can detect it and will add the video to that audio page. The time can vary but it usually will add it to the artist page.
@@metricoolapp i tried audio without tagging. not only did it not get recognised and added. i got a notification regarding copyright saying some ppl might not see this post because the audio is owned by some group
@@HOTTIPSDESIGN The audio getting recognized is not guaranteed every time. Instagram does a good job of detecting but there are exceptions with copyright and certain artists. Most uploaded sounds will get recognized and often times you can appeal the copyright flag.

Thanks for your video! I opened a Metricool account, but the 2 reels I've posted today have tanked. A typical reel of mine gets about 1,000 views or so, and each one I scheduled got about 60 views and only a few likes. Any thoughts?
Hi! There are many factors that influence the reach of a reel, such as the selected audio, the quality, the time of publication, etc. Publishing it with Metricool should not affect it negatively. But we will review the app to find improvements and opportunities 😊

@@exosbabes7683 Correct! You can either upload your video with your music already attached or you can schedule a push notification that will prompt you to upload manually at the time you set and then from there you can further add captions, sound, etc. :)
@@metricoolapp okay i just did this for 1 account where we have the clients phone. but this makes it difficult when we manage dozens of clients tik tok's that they have logged into there own phone. do you have a workaround for this? so we can select the song so it can go viral without getting banned using metricool app and logging into each tik tok seperately from one phone. do we need to buy a seperate phone for each client to do this? if you login to multiple tik tok's from one phone they will get banned right?
