Valuable video, Katie! What actually worked for me is engaging with other followers in my niche to increase my engagement rate (I'm lazy so I use quicky social for that), then posting high-quality reels. Thanks for sharing your ideas and all the best.

Hi Katie, is your macbook the only computer you use for all your content? It is in many of the videos but I am just curious because I am desciding to go mac vs PC.
This was a really helpful video! Thank you for this! The broadcast channel is.... getting quite annoying if you join a handful of them you are bombarded with notifications all of the time. I hope they go the way of Threads and it just disappears.

I just watched SO MANY of your videos they were incredibly helpful. I'm on my content grind right now and was wondering, do you have any tips about what a content calendar for a musician might look like? I'm having trouble balancing how much should be promoting my own music vs other original content. Ultimately music is the product (so it might mean lower engagement), but also I suppose you could argue there's entertainment/original value in performance videos? Anyway, keep it up it's super helpful!

This level of organization is so cool. I'm attempting to build up my instagram following and build a youtube shorts channel and I think getting a little more organized will help. also love how you differentiate your instagram reels. would love a video on how youtube shorts should differ from reels.

Anyone else has been following Katie for the past 3-4 years, inspired by her growth over the years casually applied her knowledge and is now ready to kick your butt into 2024 and make this the year where you get consistent and smash your goals. I grew my TikTok account using Katie's videos from 0 - 5000 in 4 months but burnt out and fell all the way. But 2024 - I'm back!!! A new creative but I'm ready to find my community. Hi Katie! Would you do an extensive video breaking down the style, genres, formats, and length of videos/posts that work on major social platforms IG/FB, TIKTOK, UA-cam, etc...?
I noticed not one piece of content or certaint style (5sec vids vs talking head vs education vs long captions vs hashtags) work on every platform... :/ ie. I've had a viral reel on IG that has literally 0 views on tiktok... Thank you!
Thanks for the tips! Do you have a video specifically for people who have less than 3k followers to start? I feel like that may require a slightly different strategy. For example, maybe carousels with photos wouldn’t be beneficial?

Great video, here is my question about trending audio. If you are using videos with brilliant & adding the trending audio, are you posting the video each day (Say for example one wanted to post something trending each day) manually and adding the audio? I'm trying to nail my automation work up and this seems like something you would have to manually do for each video.

This may be a silly question, but how do you suggest starting to batch content? My Tiktok and IG content is pretty time consuming. I'd love to get a month ahead, but how do you start? Do you just hustle really hard for a few weeks and generate a backlog of content? I think I would die lol. Slow down your posting for a bit while you build your backlog? Would love your perspective.
Thanks for the tips! I share reels/feed posts so that I can add them to highlight buttons. Is there a way to get around this? It's an easy way for people to view by topic, but I agree that it might be annoying on their end to see it in stories.
I LOVED the part about stories!! As a biz owner I got so used to the 2020 trend of “mini trainings” on stories that now I don’t know what to post there without making it educational 😅

Thanks for sharing! Seems to be a lot of overlap between broadcast channels, threads, and stories - in how it seems like they could all be used for similar things: lower pressure/audience connection.
I'm not too sure where to share BTS/work in progress (as an artist that's finishing one very polished animation per week), stories feels more natural though so far, since new viewers tend to click it often. But then I don't really know what content to use for threads or broadcast channels since by then I've already "used up" my BTS and it seems redundant/annoying for followers if I re-use the same BTS/work in progress. Instagram feels like such a mess sometimes haha.

Do you have a video showing how you organize your video files? Maybe this would be too much to show? My channel here on UA-cam is a for Pilates, yoga, and fitness classes. Those videos are very easy for me to organize. I can batch them and schedule really simply, but for some reason, short form content doesn't work with my set up. All my short form content gets lost if I don't use it right away. I'd love some tips on how you actually organize the keep track of your short form content and b roll
