Great review Joe! I like the fact that this is called a handheld pc and it IS one, the others (Steam Desk included) are way too big to be called handheld, they are more like the netbooks we had at the 2000's 😉I am happy to see that there are many peripherals included so that even in the future this device could be fully used. In the past I had bought a used PSP3000 just to play on MAME but obviously not all games could run on it. With this device it would be possible to play both games like Bubble Bobble AND others on latest generation emulators. I also like the fact that, thanks to the integrated backlit keyboard, it is a small Windows laptop and it would be useful to do a small work intervention on the fly without having to have a real laptop with you (i work in IT). I really don't care if it's a little bit heavy (all hardware has weight), IMO its compactness is a plus here.
I am not THAT into handhelds but I really like its relatively smaller size so I could carry even more places with me. The Lenovo is a bit awkwardly big imo.
I'm still counting down the days for this crazy handheld PC draw, I would try and run Flight Simulator 2020 8n it so I can fly wherever I am. Steam & Xbox in my pocket!
I never see reviews for outdoor elements. Ie the sun glare that the Nintendo switch v1, v2, & OLED suffered from. I own the V2, the OLED, and Lenovo Legion Go. However i only played the Legion go indoors and havent tested its display under the sun, The Switch v2 was a pain, and OLED was a small boost under the outdoor elemens of the sun. I like to know how these displays hold up under the sun glare and would a type of screen protector would be needed.
@SascosCorner I have been doing some work to do thus, I have a few videos coming out in the following weeks in terms of direct comparisons etc for them 😄
Question, can this play FFXVI and how would you buy/download games on it? This is my first PC for Gaming. I like it in my hand. And I preferred console but I wanna try because of FFXVI port to PC. I don't live the game, but I want to mod, so would this be a able to this?
I don't even have a gaming PC anymore but I really want to get back into PC gaming, ex air cadet here. If I ever get something like this someday I would try to run MSFS2020 because I like test everything to its limits. Crazy small!
This is Aya Neo’s device this other company is only helping to distribute it b/c Aya Neo has production/distribution issues. They are damn fine developers tho. Some ppl just don’t want to mess around with windows although if you unlock the true power of windows, Linux can’t compete. But they are too lazy & they won’t do it & they won’t move off Valve spoon feeding them an underpowered experience.
@edwardlashley3572 this is indeed ayaneos device yes, the collaboration between them is a very positive move in the industry. I agree with your comments about unlocking the full power of windows. The windows on here is the full windows experience.
This product is so beautiful I really love the sort of retro look it has. Im thinking of selling my laptop to buy one of these because I love it so much
I wonder if this is the start of a Partnership between between Ayaneo and Antec to bring, using Antecs higher reach to help bring their product lines to a wider market than before.
Great overview. It seems like Ayaneos experience is really shining through with some of the ergonomic choices. The dual usb-c ports really simplifies the dock design and keeps it usable when charging. The 2TB ssd is nice too. I'm not sure how I feel about the screen size. It's nice to see Antec return. I might upgrade my P160 if the cases are good. One small technical issue.. you got the details of the vhs recording tab backwards.. smh 😀
@Paul-ry7rv I realised that very thing when I was editing it lol, schoolboy error 😅 The screen is small but when it's a handheld and you have it at half arms length when using it, it's more than enough, the smaller screen makes it feel and look like a much higher resolution display too. I have one of their newer cases, the c5 in white in for review and from what I've seen so far it looks to be really good, the new direction they are heading definitely has taken them to another level and hopefully they keep going upwards!
@@GadgetJoe I only really have experience with the Steamdeck so maybe the lower resolution has given me the wrong impression. I'll keep an eye out for your C5 review. Antec were always great for their 3.5" drive installation options, I hope they've done a good job. It seems like something deeply neglected in a lot of recent cases.
The anticipation is really stacking up here, if I can get FS2020 running on this machine I just noticed how useful having a full keyboard for all the cockpit shortcuts in right there would be. Would this run VR on the road also. Wheels up in 3!
I didn't even know this thing existed until I saw this video 😄 It's pretty cool I must say! Definitely don't mind the built-in keyboard, it's a nice to have :)

Great video. Unbelievable level of depth here and very enjoyable.
It looks great! I really like the keyboard feature under the screen, it could be so useful at times.
Interesting to see another handheld come out!
I like the idea of the physical keyboard.
I like that it is not so big. The size is perfect.
We were super impressed when we got to hold one of these 🙂
I like to see the power of that machine with several games.
Gaming Handheld with keyboard, Awesome
Love the tilt/slide action
Excited for upcoming tech ❤
Very slick, reminds me of those short-lived UMPC devices.
Looking neat,I tought that the Lenovo legión was the best but you made me change my mind
I am not THAT into handhelds but I really like its relatively smaller size so I could carry even more places with me. The Lenovo is a bit awkwardly big imo.
Good device, very nice as a gift
Great Idea. A Handheld with a build in Keyboard for a good price
I'm still chasing this!

Nice video mate
looks very good!
This looks amazing - trying hard to find it in white!
Looks a bit more pocketable than most handheld PCs 😝
what do they cost ?
Great video thanks
I love it!
The keyboard makes it unique.

awesome handheld console!
Would you considering doing a direct head to head with the Antec with the other handhelds to show difference in FPS on a few games?
@SascosCorner I have been doing some work to do thus, I have a few videos coming out in the following weeks in terms of direct comparisons etc for them 😄
@@GadgetJoe ah great stuff, looking forward to it! 👍
This thing is the perfect size
looks great
This handheld looks awesome if would be awesome to be able to try it out
It is very versatile.
Stuck between this and the Steam deck at the moment.
Would be great to have 😁
Awesome gaming system.
nice design
For the price it is great.
Awesome
Amazing!
Nicer to hold for long periods?

Oh man, still two weeks to go

So cool
Great review. Looking forward to see the new AMD HX370 CPU on handheld machines
Thos would be much more practical to take with me when travelling than a bulky laptop.
Gonna hang off a Steam Deck to see when the Steam Deck 2 is gonna materialise….any ideas?
Great video!
This seems like a great alternate option to Steam Deck! Excited to see more.

Considering upgrading my steam deck, might give this a shot!
Very retro, Have'nt seen this before. Would love to play it
Not bad. The physical keyboard is not necessary for me
For handheld console keyboard is not important I think.
I did not know this brand, they have made a good machine.
There are many advantages to this type of device
How viable would this be to be used as a desktop computer
Haven’t heard of this until now. Sounds just as good as any other handheld
Never considered hand held PC food for thought...
Wow! Awesome handheld gaming PC.🙂

@BC1nos I do hope so, partnerships like this are absolutely fantastic for the consumer as it almost always ends up resulting in better products!
Yoo great camera quality and crisp video
Never considered hand held PC interesting!!
Very informative. Thanks Joe
Really great video Joe nice to see you are back in action
Do we have any news on Steam Deck 2 yet? 😝
this looks great, can't wait to try one!
with this price and battery life - no
The truth is that it is an amazing device.
Looks like a great console to travel with

More portable than the other options
A handy little bit of kit for on the go!
Cool looking machine for sure 👍
small question, if i buy the 16gb+512gbv, will i receive the case and deck with it ? if not, are there other deck compatible with it ? :v
@@foxistreamz it appears that the 16gb/512gb version doesn't come with the case and deck, I'd imagine most decks running via USB c would work with it.
@@GadgetJoe ok thanks you!!
good vid joe... keep up the good work
Great video. Thanks Joe
The tilting screen is awesome.
I want this thing so badly!
Is it a Steam Deck killer? 😝
I got a heart comment thingy?
Great video, thankyouy
Looking forward to try it!😀
Good review, thanks
Can you make a NUC out of it?
Great video great information
Reminds me a little of the old Nokia N-Gage
@FULLSYNC I can see that yes!
Would love to win this!
Thanks Gadget Joe!
