@@LoProfGuitarist the feel of the x1 keyboard is really nice. The V3 is bigger but that doesn’t make it better. The X1 keyboard is quiet and feels really premium.
@@GamerVsTech Thanks! I already own the V3 but super tempted with the X1 for slightly better portability. Cost wise there's about 80-180usd difference depending on storage options for the X1. I might stick with V3 until I spot a decent deal for the X1.
I wish Amazon UK would stock them, that’s the only thing stopping me from buying one, also I thought the controllers are meant to come with the connection thing in the middle??
@@StopMeFast buy from droix.net/product/onexplayer-x1-amd/. I have bought from the before. Good customer service and returns. And they are in the UK. and no it does not come with the controller connector unfortunately.
@@GamerVsTech funny enough I have been looking at DroiX, but there pricing is really high, and they also don’t supply the keyboard with it, it’s all sold separately
@@knivesX1 without giving anything away I’m going to say it’s top 3 handhelds imo so far. I’ll say it’s rank in the full review. I’m going to compare it to the steam deck and the legion go. I’ll have the full review out soon.
@@5igmaWolf do it!!! The way I think of it is what’s the use case. Casual gaming? Do you need high fps. The x1 is in my top 3 handhelds right now. I won’t say what place until the full review comes out. But so far it’s amazing. X1 = portability and can play most games comfortably. Sure you can achieve Elden ring at 60 gps solid but the battery life is what you’ll be thinking about. Overwatch 2 plays 80+ fps for hours on the right settings. Modern warfare about the same. A gaming laptop plugged in will give you higher fps and better resolution. But it’s not as portable. And will need to be plugged in. Everyone has a different use case. I’m addicted to tech so I have every device imaginable and more coming in weekly. So that’s why I’m going to review everything so others can make decisions based off of my experiences so that they don’t spend unnecessary amounts of money like me lol.
for me its depends what are you looking for, I tried some win handheld I think i prefer the minisforum for windows things and android one for small retro gaming, but its for me that cant use joystick for everything xD, also minisforum is awesome for software development :P
I was going to buy the Onexplayer X1 on amazon last week because it had prime shipping but it looks like you beat me to it. Now I'm waiting for it to be back on amazon
The OneXPlayer 8840u is the best handheld!! Great video!

Good video man, looking forward to you doing a detail test plus gaming on this device.

Good work guy , GPD win great too

How's the keyboard on X1 as compared to Minisforum V3?
Thanks for the detailed unboxing + 1st impressions!

@@LoProfGuitarist so far I like it more. It’s really quick. And the v3 can’t go up to 35w tdp like the x1 can.
