@@bizmasterTheSlav Robots. With targetting systems. Ignoring the 2008 Clone Wars show, where most people suck at aiming other than the main characters, it makes sense that the battle droids shouldn't be that bad. Targetting systems of today are pretty good, so in a sci-fi world like that it should be easily accessible to add. And, with the sheer number of them they'd probably beat them on a ground level with just soldiers. Once you bring in vehicles though the debate becomes much more complicated.
@@Taskmasterxyz Stormtroopers can use ambushes, mines, grenades, urban environnment to their advantage, while droids lack the creativity to do so. I still think humans have an advantage here.
@@bizmasterTheSlav Thats very true, and is one of the advantages the clones themselves had against the droids during the clone wars. However, with a good tactician, the hundreds of millions of droids can be a devastating force. Adding in B2's destructive firepower, Droidekas being mobile turrets, and others you get quite a variety. Of course, this is the droids at their prime. If it was CIS era droid army versus the Imperial army then I think it'd be a pretty even fight. However, I doubt the Rebels could amass half as many droids as that, so in this scenario the Imps have a good chance of victory.
@@MidoriOfTheShuinsen Sooner idk about happier that's a bit more subjective here. It's my understanding that under Palpatine's control the CIS was basically throwing most of the war as it was a mock war with a different goal for him, taking him off the board would make the CIS bring everything to bare and probably end in a CIS victory. Regardless of the winner tho every thing would get a lot worse before it got better with both sides uncorked.
Honestly the idea of combining the already pretty good droid fighters numbers and the skill and effectiveness of rebel x-wings is really cool. Also droid b-wings are scary. Perfect accuracy mini anti-capital ship weapons.
Man this story was insane, I loved those commando droids in the clone wars. I would very much love to see the Emperial order battle against the Confederacy
@@PentePatrolStarWarsit's kinda unrealistic to have separatists as part of the rebellion as opposed to just them being allies of convenience in fighting the empire. In legends mon and bail were against incorporating separatists at all let alone droids because it would've been used by imperial propagandists as ammo to say that "they don't even want to restore the republic. They're literally die hard separatists in their ranks" That'd look even worse with battle droids.
If you do a deep dive into Star Wars droid lore, you realize that the engineering and programing that goes into them, is an absolutely insane level of tech to the point where it is almost out of place. The 3 most impressive technologies in Star Wars are in my opinion, ranked 1 Droids, 2 Lightsabers and, 3 Atmosphere capable starfighters
Oh the irony. The Republic went in and fought the CIS in The Clone Wars but when Palpatine decided to fuck up everybody’s shit by taking ALL the power to change the Republic to the Galactic Empire, the rebels have to RELY on the CIS to fix everything. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

"By the time we'd made our way to the molten surface of Mustafar, it was apparent that Dellso had been a busy little bug. All by his lonesome he'd found a previously-hidden droid factory, fired it up and cranked out his own private army of battle droids. Needless to say, this got the men of the 501st ... a little hot under the helmet, and not just because of all that lava. Truth be told we'd all had our fill of those gear heads during the war, and we couldn't stomach the thought of going through another one. So we blew them up -- blew up the droids, blew up the factory ... damn near blew up the planet." -501st Journal
That quote is from one of my favorite childhood X-Box games! It was one of my favorite campaign missions, too. I would have loved a Star Wars Battlefront 2 remake.
I kind of had a different scenario with the droids still existing. I had a scenario where I made a fictional faction in the Rishi maze who attacked into the galactic disk during the height of the Empire. I did this by pulling a Sweden or Prussia and having a really good conscription system and integrating the Droid armies pulling the plans from Geonosis, using some remnant Acclimator Class Assault Ships as my workhorses, and then used whoever was left of the Kaminoans to further bolster the population and try to recover its losses (a couple of Clones of everyone so you don't rely on only some genetic material, and these do take a lifetime to grow, but only from baby with everyone having multiple clone children). So the faction was boosted in its population over time, but primarily relied on Droid armies with every citizen being trained as officers to lead Droid platoons and having a conventional force who were largely as skilled and could trade blows with the empire, but made the most of itself by investing into quality for the people, but allowed itself to make up for the quantity losses via the droids who were still at least somewhat expendable (even if not in mass quantities). I made the droids used primarily BXs and B2s since those are the most useful of the droids as heavy infantry and even pretty intelligent and agile light infantry with the BXs and B1s in only limited production for the sake of filling out ships given how uselessly disposable they were since they were all fodder and in no way were meant to actually be led (and how 1 or 2 B2s or BXs absolutely is worth more than 3 or 4 B1s). I also tried to go with a mobile infantry route using a lot of speeders so they could quickly deploy on the ground. In fact I'd love to see this as a video you do.
I second this. I did ask for a what if months ago with Sabe. What if Sabe was the one who went to Tattooine instead of Padme and that Anakin falls in love with the double of Padme and that Padme somehow lived through the assassination attempt to create the Rebel Alliance. Yeah head scratcher i know but I wanted to know what would actually happen. Much love and respect.
Always wanted to see the rebellion reusing old clone war equipment. Reprogrammed battle droids, AT-TEs, they use AT-RTs and LA-ATs already, as well as old Y-wings. Now imagine if they managed to get their hands on a full sized venator.
I got two for you *WHAT IF: Feral (the brother) Savage killed for Venture wasn’t weak and also became an apprentice alongside Savage for Dooku. Should be interesting for Savage & Maul!* *What if a council member from the Old Republic era was frozen in a cargo chamber and was freed during the clone wars? Would he sense Sideous immediately since he dealt with sith on a daily basis. How would he change the story?*
That second one partly happened in an EU comic (I forget the name) where a Jedi from the time of the Mandalorian Wars in the Old Republic was preserved in this chamber in a cave on a planet (Forget the name again) and was found by Darth Vader during the Galactic Civil War.
Besides a huge increase in the bloodshed of the Civil War, the biggest difference would be to how the Rebels fought in space. The Rebel Alliance fought fast, hit and run battles with every ship from fighters to transports being nimble and, more importantly -hyperspace capable. The CIS fleet relied on large flagships and absolutely enormous droid control ships to control and coordinate their droids- and none of the CIS fighters were hyperspace capable. That means the Rebels would be bogged down by the large capital ships needed to transport and control the droid ships. The Imperial fleet, designed for maximum firepower against capital ships, would have torn the Rebel/Droid fleet to shreds. It's worth noting that Papaltine's goal was never for the CIS to actually win the war- and for the Republic to be limited to very few ship classes- their best being the Venator, which was mostly a carrier for, you guessed it- fighters without hyperdrives. The addition of the CIS fleet would have doomed the Rebel Alliance.
I’ve always looked at the CIS lucrehulk ships as maybe one of the best ship designs for an intergalactic ship!! Having the sphere part of the ship able to hold all the people manufacturing machinery supplies as well as 2 levels for both growing food and raising livestock!! Then with SSD type engines they blast off into the universe full with certain amounts of Jedi masters,Knights & Padawan’s which using the force could help them find safe routes through hyperspace
Don't forget HK47 being on Mustafar. After upgrading and tried to attack Vader's forces, he failed and escaped. Not sure if HK47/87 was able to escape with the Infinite Engine. I'm sure that HK47 still hates any Sith so it would be interesting how he deals with the Inquisitors since the HKs are designed to fight against Jedi&Sith.
I can't even imagine the horror stormtroopers would have felt at having to fight comando droids. Even clones had trouble with them, especially when there were three of them and started doing that acrobatic bouncy ball routine with the walls and ceiling while simultaneously firing at you. Not to mention the B2's who could tank more than ome blaster shot and droidekas who uncurled, shielded up and started cutting down your buddies without a sweat. And since the empire never had to fight them, they didn't have any tactics to deal with them.
43:38 oh my god, the fact that thrawn is getting done in with the SAME TRICKS the CIS used in the clone wars is just the icing on the cake. this was amazing. i love that you even sounded incredulous while narrating it, as if thrawn couldn't believe his own troops actually fell for something that had already been documented once also i like that you didn't mince negative character traits in this. the utterly mental geonosian orders the massacre of civilians and an entire species before being reined in, and thrawn delights in a kindly old mentor's grave being right next to a cannon used to blast her movement's fleet to pieces. makes it all the more satisfying when the battle goes upside down for thrawn's forces
You forgot to include buzz droids. Those little buggers can even make a mess of large ships if given time. Not to mention ground vehicles and fighters like defenders. Plus no one likes being attacked by plasma cutters and circular saws.
i mean boarding would become so much easier for rebels. just use some cannon fodder mixed with hit and run attacks, no humanoid casualties, and you are trading driods for stormtroopers and stolen materials, it would be hilarious
This is probably one of my top 5 favorite alternate Star Wars scenarios. Love the idea of seeing a massive horde of battle droids taking on stormtroopers since they are just regular people in clone trooper-like armor getting their asses kicked and without any Jedi backing them. Clankers for the win!
I also love seeing the new CIS ships of the line and battle against the Imperial I and IIs. Sad to see the Lucrehulks go, they're one of my favorite ships in SW.
Did the Jedi know about it? The Sith hid it very well and the Jedi never knew about it when they took back Coruscant from the Sith after the Great Hyperspace war.
One of the best What Ifs you have ever poduced, keep up the great work and you deserve nothing less than 100k subs cuz the quality of your vids is so brilliant 😃
Man thinking of Droid controlled hyperspace capable starfighters is a seriously scary concept. No need to sleep, or rest, no need to train pilots, just time to rearm and refuel. they could hyperspace in, strike a soft target and bail.
Now after I watch this video I have a new idea for you. What If the Droid Army was used by the resistance. I think it would be really interesting to see the first order trying to fight the droid army. Yes the droid army is not that Superior than the technology of the first order but the numbers of ships and droids from the droid army would definitely be a challenge for the first order. Plus I just believe if the resistance did use the droid army they could have had less losses and I believe they can modify a lot of the old CIS warships and CIS is droids.
Honestly following this time line i could see leia pulling some of the battle droids out of storage to deal with the first order. Dont know how i feel about sidious killing himself off like this.
I would love the sight of X wings and vultures flying side by side after TIEs. Then hera commanding the droids with then following her orders to a tea.
That battle of Ferrix was so awesome, I could visualize it. Your scenarios are always so detailed, Well done. I know these scenarios tend to focus on the bigger picture, but I would have liked to see a more satisfying end, for at least Vader. That aside, great work... All that because a single Geonosian got curious...

"Although the Clone Wars were over, some people never seem to get the message. The worst case of denial was Gizor Delso, a Geonosian Separatist who'd somehow escaped Lord Vader's efforts to wipe out the remnants of the CIS. Lord Vader tracked him to Mustafar, and brought us in to finish the job. It seemed like a simple enough mission, but when we saw the fleet of droid ships, hovering over the planet, we suddenly realized that Delso's denial mechanisms were a little more dangerous than we'd imagined." -501st journal

So glad to see someone point out that the rebels would be very against using battle droids, but see that they would make things easier for them.
What if Cad Bane rigged Palpatine’s pod under orders from Maul & Savage, killing Palpatine as well as Mas Amida?
The series woukd have ended a lot sooner and a lot happier
I would love to see a Mod made around this for Empire at War, this is such an amazing take on this alternative history of Star Wars!
Man this story was insane, I loved those commando droids in the clone wars. I would very much love to see the Emperial order battle against the Confederacy
I just really love anything that include the droids because I’m maybe a little bit of a droid fan boy lol, this what if was really amazing to watch
I'm so glad you enjoyed!
@@PentePatrolStarWarsI love what you did with chopper
@@PentePatrolStarWarsit's kinda unrealistic to have separatists as part of the rebellion as opposed to just them being allies of convenience in fighting the empire.
In legends mon and bail were against incorporating separatists at all let alone droids because it would've been used by imperial propagandists as ammo to say that "they don't even want to restore the republic. They're literally die hard separatists in their ranks"
That'd look even worse with battle droids.
This is largely 'super tactical droid no longer has to listen to idiots and it shows'. I love it
Oh the irony.
Lets give some respect to Gizor Dellso for rebuilding the CIS and his boy Bits for being a true leader and getting the last laugh on Palpa and Vader
What if Yoda left the order with Ahsoka?
What if Baylan Skol trained Luke?
What if Baylan Skol trained Ezra?
What if Anakin and Padme adopted Hera Syndulla?
yeah we now need some Baylan Skol what if's
- What if Baylon Skoll trained Luke?
- What if Revenge of the Sith ended with Yoda, Sidious, Obi-Wan and Anakin killing each other?
- What if Thrawn found Luke and took him under his wing?
- What if Ben Solo never turned to the dark side?
- What if Han and Qi'ra swapped roles in Solo or Qi'ra' joining them at the end of Solo?
- What if Anakin and Padme divorced, but she still gave birth to Luke and Leia?
- What if Leia didn't stop her Jedi training with Luke?
The Thrawn training Luke one is something that happens in the “what if Luke joined the empire” video
What if Sabé went to find Luke instead of joining Vader? I think that would be a cool way for Luke to learn more about his mother.
I got two for you
*WHAT IF: Feral (the brother) Savage killed for Venture wasn’t weak and also became an apprentice alongside Savage for Dooku. Should be interesting for Savage & Maul!*
*What if a council member from the Old Republic era was frozen in a cargo chamber and was freed during the clone wars? Would he sense Sideous immediately since he dealt with sith on a daily basis. How would he change the story?*
That last one sounds dope as fuck
That second one partly happened in an EU comic (I forget the name) where a Jedi from the time of the Mandalorian Wars in the Old Republic was preserved in this chamber in a cave on a planet (Forget the name again) and was found by Darth Vader during the Galactic Civil War.
It would’ve been interesting to see the tactical droid Kalani join the rebels
“We were bad, but now we’re good! Roger Roger, Motherfu-“

This is legit one of the best videos I’ve ever seen you make
I'm so glad you enjoyed!
What if Anakin was sold to a different crime syndicate before the events of the Phantom Menace?
R.I.P super tactical droid! We will be remembered as a hero🕊🕊🕊
I mean, too be fair, HK47 is from the KOTOR Series, he’s hella old.
Bit made the most heroic sacrafice at the end and he will have a great monument for him on Corosaunt
The big one that sticks out to me is the Droidekas in a ground fight, you either bring in heavy armor, or, well, what _do_ you do?
You know what is the funniest thing is? Kenobi and Luke be like: Wtf did we miss?
43:38 oh my god, the fact that thrawn is getting done in with the SAME TRICKS the CIS used in the clone wars is just the icing on the cake. this was amazing. i love that you even sounded incredulous while narrating it, as if thrawn couldn't believe his own troops actually fell for something that had already been documented once
also i like that you didn't mince negative character traits in this. the utterly mental geonosian orders the massacre of civilians and an entire species before being reined in, and thrawn delights in a kindly old mentor's grave being right next to a cannon used to blast her movement's fleet to pieces. makes it all the more satisfying when the battle goes upside down for thrawn's forces
You forgot to include buzz droids. Those little buggers can even make a mess of large ships if given time. Not to mention ground vehicles and fighters like defenders. Plus no one likes being attacked by plasma cutters and circular saws.
That was pretty good. Definitely deserves a full movie or an animated series.
Imagine combining this video with the clone one and the massive battles and the irony that the clones and the droids came together
The decapitation of the Empire here was priceless. Lmao
What if Plagueis was taught by Vitiates Holocrons while Sidious was trained by Tenebrous And Dooku was trained by Revans Holocrons?
Goddamn thats convoluted as fuck and i love it
That is awesome
Sounds interesting so Dooku would be more balanced than in canon
Lol the sith emperor teaching BOTH of the clone wars sith lords would be hilarious
This dude made his own trilogy
i mean boarding would become so much easier for rebels. just use some cannon fodder mixed with hit and run attacks, no humanoid casualties, and you are trading driods for stormtroopers and stolen materials, it would be hilarious
I love how you used a one shot character form the og battlefront 2 for this I just wish Geonosians where used more often
Not sure if this has been asked, but what if several Kaminoans escaped with the Bad Batch while carrying the necessary data to restart the Clone Army?
Great story as always.
What if the jedi purified the Sith temple that the jedi temple were built on
Did the Jedi know about it? The Sith hid it very well and the Jedi never knew about it when they took back Coruscant from the Sith after the Great Hyperspace war.
One of the best What Ifs you have ever poduced, keep up the great work and you deserve nothing less than 100k subs cuz the quality of your vids is so brilliant 😃
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Thank you so much!
11:18 they jumping me they jumping me save ur boi- the clone troopers
Imagine if general grievous could have been restored and learned about the emperor's betrayal, the empire and the rebels.
Fantasy Folklore approved of this idea of mine, wondering if you will too,
What if Aayla Secura became Darth Talon?
I would love the sight of X wings and vultures flying side by side after TIEs. Then hera commanding the droids with then following her orders to a tea.
That battle of Ferrix was so awesome, I could visualize it. Your scenarios are always so detailed, Well done. I know these scenarios tend to focus on the bigger picture, but I would have liked to see a more satisfying end, for at least Vader. That aside, great work...
All that because a single Geonosian got curious...
Finally some love for the Seperatists
This is far far better than the canon lore.
I loved the 2002 Battlefront 2 reference. “The enemy has captured a command post … take it back!”
What if Anakin had found HK-47 and rebuild him before phantom menace?
Hopefully Anakin would reprogram him so he wouldn’t just murder everyone on Tatooine.

What if Shaak Ti survived and led a clone rebellion when the stormtrooper project decommissioned them, maybe join the rebellion or it’s created faster with their help?
Speaking of droids I wish we got the see more of the experiential droids in the clone wars series such as the B3 ultra battle droid, cortosis super battle droid etc.
I've some ideas for What If:
- What if Palpatine wasn't elected the chancellor of the Republic in Phantom Menace?
- What if Anakin became friends with Iskat Akaris?
- What if Anakin's bombing run managed to kill Grievous on Malevolence
- What if it was Saw and not Steela who died on Onderon?
- What if Anakin killed Dooku in their duel during the Rako Hardeen arc?
- What if Tarkin died in the Citadel meaning there would be no Tarkin Doctrine for the Empire?
- What if Qi'ra joined the Galactic Empire with Han perhaps becoming an ISB agent?
- What if Han killed Darth Vader during the battle of Yavin?
- What if the Ashmead's Lock's prisoners succeeded in assassinating Mon Mothma meaning that Leia would become chancellor and the New Republic wouldn't demilitarize?
Delicious irony that the CIS using their own forces against the Sidious, the original mastermind.
DAY:27 Heres some what ifs. 1.What if the Rebel Alliance was crushed on Hoth? 2.What if the Trade Federation peacefully resolved the Naboo crisis? 3.What if Qui-Gon Jinn had trained Darth Maul as a Jedi? 4.What if the Jedi Council discovered Palpatine's true identity earlier? 5.What if Leia became a Jedi Master in the sequel trilogy? and finally 6. What if the Jedi and Sith coexisted peacefully? PLEASE DO ONE OF THESE THEYRE ARE SO INTERESTING🙏🙏🙏 an extra one: what if yoda was the chosen one
