I Declare War - Putrification of the Population DRUM COVER

- I have been sitting on this, I Declare War drum cover for a long time, and I finally decided to go ahead and do it. I absolutely love the sonic brutality of this band and I really hope they release more music. They have been doing their thing since 2005 and has always been a breath of fresh air for the genre. Also the drummer for the album this song is from, Malevolance, is Ryan Cox and his style is so unorthodox but fits so well with the demand of the band. Also I apologize for my foot camera's FPS. The camera decided to do a factory reset on its own so my settings were not applied at the time of the recording and I did not notice this until I was in post production. I am very unhappy about that and rest assured this will not happen again. If despite this you still enjoyed the video please like, comment, subscribe and share as it greatly helps me out. Appreciate any of you that took the time to watch my performance!

Im VERY unhappy that my foot camera did a factory rest without me knowing it, so my normal settings did not apply to the foot camera. I normally have it set up so that I can get a higher frame rate with the camera, which is important for this genre of music, but here the camera is barely 30 fps. So I deeply apologize for that and hopefully it doesn't detract from the overall performance too much. Again apologies and rest assured it will not occur again.
Still looks faster than I could play 😂
@@adamhenton6221 lol. This song is deceptively challenging too because it does not stay at the same tempo throughout.
@@DrumlionMusic Yea it changes up several times. I bet that takes some skill.
@@adamhenton6221 It tested me for sure. Because I believe the song starts at 190ish and the later part felt about 210 or 220 give or take.
Dude, you play the song so good! You can play bro. I declare war one of my favorite songs from this band!!!!!
Im so grateful for your words. Thank you!

Hey, BIG Man... Nice cover. I like how the Double Bass placement is structured throughout the track... Giving the Calves a workout. Also the Snare Blasts and the Riffing are Sick I Declare War have some Brutal S××t in their catalog... Again Great Job!💀🤘
Appreciate this bro! And no doubt this was a leg workout lol
Another great cover. Your foot camera was fine man. I can still see everything lol. Keep it up. Good energy to you and the channel. Rock on! 😈

Haha thats precisely why i timed it that way bro
The camera didn't mess up anything. It's not that noticeable..still a 🔥🔥🔥cover.
Appreciate it bro. For real
Sick!!! Killer Job as always man!! \m/
Hugely appreciate this!
Its been a hot decade since ive heard this song, old school!
I had take it back on this one! I love the whole album!
Nice.thanx🙂🙂🙂
Thanks so much
Ahhh!!! That is to bad about the camera. You are killing it with the double kicks. Still sick as f*ck. When’s the last time you’ve been to a show? Lorna Shore is opening for Mastodon and Gojira. In Portland Maine on August 19.
Thanks so much friend! And actually Slaughter to Prevail is playing in Jacksonville FL in April so im going to try to go to that show!
Man, you're really pumping out these drum covers! Takes a lot of work to play a song note for note. 🤘
Thanks bro. Yeah the study process takes some serious time. Then the practice time is even longer. Then getting an decent recording is another ordeal. Then the mixing and mastering is another time consuming process. Then the video editing is a whole other animal too lmao! In any case Im glad you checked it out and please forgive the quality of the foot cam in this video. Its not my usual standard.
The lyrics really spoke to me and touched me inside 😜 jokes aside, i might not be at that level of metal listening yet. But you smashed it though, the foot work here is more impressive than the arm work. However that initial and ending blast beat is really tasty. Do you always play with your rack toms at that angle or is it a space issue? Your kit is awesome! Thanks again for another cover, can't wait for more! Oh and by the way, tomorrow I am seeing Gojira live for the first time ever!! 🤯👏👏
Haha the vocals are definitely really cavernous so it just hits different for me. And the footwork was definitely the trickiest party of the song. As for the tom angle, since im using the stock Tama hardware my positioning is somewhat limited. But this angle has always felt relatively comfortable to me so i just roll with it at this point. Also that is beyond awesome you are seeing Gojira. I look forward to hearing how the show went!
You are a flipping alien. Also, props to you for striking your drums with the proper force. I used to play with a drummer years ago who was a tech-death prodigy, but he would play so hard we would have to buy him new heads and even cymbals every month or so. If you're not in a proper band soon, I will collect people to riot. Cheers!
Haha appreciate this! And yeah sometimes i do aggressively hit but im also aware of how expensive equipment can be lol. I knew a power hitter like that too and he constantly destroyed his drumset. But also props for being able to play tech death!
Have you ever heard I Declare Goddes?
lol
Is your kit on the small side or are you just that fucking big?
Good stuff btw.
Lol, i do hit the gym every now and then. Also i appreciate it!
