    This reminds me of my childhood, my mum would pack chickpeas dosa for school and I now do it for my daughter. Delicious and healthy.

    Excellent
    Today tried in dinner. Added cumin ginger green chilli . With pudina coriander chutney . When soaked in water added 2 red chilli just to control sweetness in chana and grinded
    Never thought of dosa with Chole

    Love this variation on the urad dhall and rice classic!! And your dosai pouring skills are excellent!! Getting those little fermentation bubbles on the dosai tell me that it tastes good!!!

    Thanks! Looks much healthier than traditional dosa that are mostly starch and hardly any protein or fibers. I am sure ghee can be replaced with healthier oil. Will definitely try.

      As I know they all are same. White chickpea/garbanzo/kabuli chana. Another one is desi chana/kala chana/black chickpea.

      Yes, fermented chcikpeas often smell bad, but doesn't mean that they have gone off. Also you can see lots of bubbles after good fermentation. Go ahead, mix the batter very well and make dosa. Or refrigerate and use upto 2 days
