I would not believe the rumor about Macho Man Randy Savage and Stephanie McMahon. It is amazing to me how this rumor continues to flourish even in the absence of any substantive evidence.
The reasons I see for the animosity between Randy Savage and Vince McMahon are these:
Circa 1993 Vince was seeking to change the appearance of the roster of the WWF. Randy was removed from active competition and reassigned to his announcing role for the WWF television programming. At first Randy went along with this but realized that he was not going to be booked or pushed in any wrestling capacity in the ring again in the WWF.
At some point, the WCW approached Randy with a lucrative contract offer that would allow him to resume being a top star in the ring. Randy took this offer as well as his contract as spokesman for Slim Jim along to WCW. This decision blindsided Vince McMahon and you can see how he is choking back tears in his brief farewell statement to Randy on Monday Night Raw after it happened. I feel that Vince was probably burned about losing the Slim Jim contract.
As Lanny Poffo has said in recent interviews, the WWE had approached Randy about entering the WWE Hall of Fame in the years before he died. However Randy would not accept their offer unless he, Lanny, and their father Angelo were all inducted into the Hall of Fame. This was more than what the WWE wanted to do. Thus they hit another stalemate.
So what did Randy say about this? Wait. He never denied the rumor, even though he had years to do so. He just left it up to all his loyal fans, and his brother Lanny to defend him. Lanny also was asked about why Savage wasn't in the Hall of Fame when Randy was still alive. He said that any wrestling fan with the internet knows the answer.

The rumor about Savage & Steph was started on the "Death Valley Driver" website message boards in September of 2004. Someone started a thread about "scummy wrestling urban legends" and a poster put up the Savage/Steph thing. The story spread from there to other places.
The story came out of a contest where people were basically inventing the worst stories they could think of.

False. That's the earliest it was traced online, but this rumor was floating around in the late 90s. It was also more or less confirmed years ago. Whatever Macho did obviously was very personal to Vince because Vince has literally taken everyone back from Hogan who nearly put him out of business to Worrior who he built from the ground up. Literally dozens of guys that back stabbed, disrespected or jumped ship and he took every single one of them back. Only Macho was do e for good, so whatever he did was extremely personal and hurtful to Vince. He felt his trust was permanently damaged. That can realistically only be a few things because over the past 50 years all those guys crossed Vince in every way imaginable. Also we know how he reacted when HHH started courting Stephanie.
Vince was mad at the fact that Macho Man didnt come to agreements to sign a new contract with him and macho man ended up going to WCW Vince acted like he was happy for him but deep down he was hurt and felt betrayed he lost Hogan,Warrior was gone and all the big names Vince had was leaving and left for WCW and all he really had left was macho man but macho man didn't want to be just a commentator he wanted to wrestle notice that once macho man left the WWF it took a downfall for awhile and Vince knew that was gonna happen until Mankind,Undertaker,Stone Cold,The Rock,DX made a turn around and the attitude era started but thats the reason why Vince had issues with Macho Man..

That's makes no sense. Hogan hurt WWF and Vince way more than Macho did. Whatever Macho did was extremely personal to Vince. Vince literally forgave everyone except for Macho.

The reason that Vince never sought criminal charges IF it is true is simple. The 1990s was the era that we grew up in this nation and accepted the fact that there are teenage girls who are not "pure as the driven snow" and initiate things on their own. That may offend some, but then reality is offensive to people who love to ignore it.
The rumor is that Stephanie wasn't underage, she was like 17.

Stephanie was part of a very rich and powerfull family.This matured her 5 yrs faster than any normal girl because of the responsibilities in dealing with a family of this size wealth adn popularity around the world.
