Bret Hart has to be one of the most genuinely nice, and smart guys in the business, he was one of the only wrestlers to come off as intelligent with these stupid reporters
Bret Hart, proving why hes the best there is, best there was and the best they're ever will be, a lot happened with Benoit but hart refused to throw him under the bus, he spoke the truth about the man he knew, his love for the business and how he knew him
Odd he throws many wrestlers under the bus. But Chris is a great man despite murdering his 7 year old son and wife. But man all the other wrestlers Brett dogs in. It’s too funny
@@oldironsides4107 so let’s add some context here! Bret is a standup guy I’ve met the guy back in the day and all that! Everybody speaks highly of him. Bret hart is a hard work and is above nobody. So if Bret hart thinks someone is a shitty person based on personality and work ethic you better believe I’m going to consider whatever Bret is thinking! Bret isn’t about talent but hard work. So his dislike to a few folks is well warranted. Bret knew Chris and his family. Chris Benoit was sick in the head from all the bumps and bruises he took a 20-30 year career and about half that using the head buttt. I’m not saying he was right in his actions. I’m just saying if we want to talk about context and if Chris deserves a shot a heaven or hell, I think he deserves redemption and a true chance for his spirit to heal. Parts of his mind were already starting to leave but I think checkout time for him was when Eddie passed away. That was his brother like no other. We have all made mistakes. And nobody not even his closests friends and family know the facts of what happened. Chris was a standup guy whose mind was GONE! Respect to the man father and wrestler. Again I don’t condone his murders but let’s remember all of the facts here for context. This wasn’t a right minded fella who woke and and decided to murder. He was seeking help and probably should have retired but loved the sport to much. He didn’t feel nobody would understand him so… he did and committed horrible acts. As gone as his mind was probably belonged in a nursing home or asylum or something. Who knows. I’m just saying pay a little respect. I understand what was done and I pray for his loved ones and family but understand the whole story and judge from that standpoint. Can’t and don’t wanna change your opinion but just want you to judge from all angles.
What id like to know from a standpoint of his friends and family is how not one person in his family or close circle knew he had brain damage or very advanced dimentia or any signs!!!
I just had difficulty taking this in. I may not have known Benoit in real life, but I grew up watching him since he was an underachiever in the WCW to the champ he would become much later on. Fellow wrestlers spoke highly of him and considered him a role model's role model and was touched by his message to Eddie Guerrero on the following RAW after his death. Benoit just had this work ethic at the time deserved the upmost acknowledgement of respect. It pained me to see that such a great man would resort to taking such sick actions towards his own wife and son that would just shit all over his once great legacy.
@MrAdrenaline1982...You got some great stuff on your channel. I subscribed. I've learned a lot about past wrestlers from your posts and I appreciate that. I used to be a big Chris Benoit fan and for years now, I don't know whether to hate him for what he did or feel sorry for him. It's very obvious, he had SEVERE brain damage from concussions doing that flying head butt off the top rope, night after night for years. He must of been in such pain every day and had to take drugs to overcome the pain and keep wrestling. Should Vince take some of the blame for not recognizing his condition years before this tragedy happened? I say yes. What do you think man? Take care.
Thanks for subscribing! Should Vince shoulder some of the blame? Perhaps, but at the end of the day I'm not sure Chris' brain injuries were the sole cause of the Benoit murders/suicide. And I applaud WWE for being as cautious with concussions as they are now, in the aftermath of the Benoit tragedy.
"Horrible thing and blablabla" not even bothering to make eye contact. Not a good interviewer. But it's the standard of "quality" I've come to expect from Fox News anyway.
hes still respected in my opinion, hes still an inspiration to wwe superstars today, i just hate that wwe would erase him completely :(, all of those great matches hes been in with the wwe, randy orton winning his first wwe tittle, he can't even talk about it except saying hes the youngest world champ, triple h and shawn michaels cant talk about the great battle they had at wrestlemania 20, prob still the best match in everyones eyes.

I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that you had a guy known as one of the best technical wrestlers in the world and his finishing move was a headbutt from the top rope. Wouldn't that give you a concussion? That move has brain damage written all over it. Something is definitely fishy about the whole thing, but assuming we have all the facts, we can't rule out all the concussions he would have suffered doing that finishing move. It's one thing if you did it every once in a while, but that was his big move. A flying through the air and going head to head literally with another guy. Such a shame.

His brain was so fucked up from all the stunts he did for the fans. He LOVED wrestling with his whole life Think what you want but that weekend doesn’t change his legasy. It wasn’t him. He would never do it in a clear state of mind. I wish it never happened. And yes if he was supposed to die in May 2008 then so be it. But then he wouldn’t be erased from history which I think if he was alive he would be heartbroken. I want to play him in every WWE game ( after SVR 2007 ).
