I never heard of him until they had a classic radio station in my area and they kept playing his song "You take my breath away." His voice goes up a couple of octaves in that song!

It seems like rex watches her carefully to compliment her voice not overshadow it. He backs off when they are singing together. That makes the duet even better.
Rex was my first first crush. Saw the movie, Sooner or Later, bought the album, and played it over and over and over. Always loved Marie Osmond too, I saw Air Supply 2 years ago. This duo did it much better.

Rex toured for a while, starred on Broadway, did TV/film for a bit; also, apparently he got his pilot's license, became a realtor, raised a family.... and did small shows occasionally. 🎶 It's nice to see he's well and healthy, and to hear him after all these years (in recent videos) -- his singing voice is still quite lovely and his stories are fun. 🙂🌺
