I drove my parents crazy playing my little 45 of "You take my breath away"..I had a huge crush on Rex had his posters all over my bedroom walls..Those were the days of innocence and happy memories.
The care and friendship that Brandon shared w/the houseless man before the concert is heartwarming. Brandon's mother and stepfather raised a compassionate, respectful and intelligent young man. It's wonderful that families on both sides were supportive. Hopefully, the mother, stepfather, Brandon, Rex, Rex's other kids and wives, and all family members were able to come together and maintain healthy relationships. May they continue with the greatest blessings. With ALOHA from O'ahu 🤙 (not far from the Kahala Hilton, where Rex stayed -- hotel has a different name now). 🌊🏝

These two men are so as sensitive and gracious and real. This is where the talkshow bugs be if she would just stop talking and be so she just seems so fake asking her questions. This is a real for this entertainer and to find his son by the way, loved the guy back in the day and I hope him and his sons has a beautiful relationship, still growing strong
🤙 A VERY similar thing happened in our family. A young man saw a news report about my bro-in-law (a retired world champ sportsman). He had been told that the sportsman's brother, my husband (also a retired sportsman) is his father. The young man sent a request via one of the sports news sites asking to get in touch. I was reading and gathering all the well wishes from friends and fans when I saw the message. My first reaction was surprise... but without hesitation, I wrote him back and gave him our contact info.; then, told my husband and we proceeded to communicate w/him. It was important that father and son had a positive, open, easy going path to get to know one another and have a relationship. No one had apprehensions -- family is family! 💕 Another fun similarity: our "new" son's name = Brandon. 🙂

Rex Smith is absolutely thrilled having his newfound son in his life. At this stage he only has two daughters. He went on to have another son with his third wife (the woman in the audience here) and another daughter. Brandon is the only one who looked like him
