Above all, a strange combination of a marvelous guitarist and an unbearable "screamer" who sings out of tune !.. I'm surprised that most people have shit in their ears not to realize that a "singer" is singing out of tune?... That's INCREDIBLE !...
Neither SRV, EVH, Jimi. These guys were one of a kind. Once there gone there will never be another one like'em ...Period! And the three I mentioned are all gone. Damn!

Jeff Beck IS my Hero ( am 72 and ex. Pro.guitarist ,now retired ) But even Heroes make mistakes, like playing with the wrong lineup and beeing sloppy with His own Sound ! Must have been in a Bad mood , He plays angry 😒
I think this version is great but I agree with you on the fact that it is very rare to appreciate a version when we learnt, hear and sing it in his "originel" version and for a long long time !..

Jimmy Hall got up onstage with Guthrie Trapp yesterday to sing a song. Trapp was amazed. Check out Trapps video he posted today about picking out a guitar and pedals and amps. He spoke about Hall getting up and singing with him, and he genuinely seems blown away by the guys singing. Trapp: “it was effing AWESOME the guy is 75 years old and he brings the HEAT.. MAN, I GOT GOOSEBUMPS”
The song & it's message in the lyrics supposedly to be in front, not guitar maniac with big ego ran all over the bars just because you can do it and you have a big name.., I don't care whoever it is but pls. give respect to the song. Sorry to say that, but it's true...!
I really love Beck but I don't like this singer who screams and above all sings quite out of tune at times !.. I don't understand that Beck accept to play with such a bad screamer like that ... It's a pity !..

I saw him in 1969/70 at Sheff Uni Union. Small venue, many Marshall 500s, very loud, and very good....

Always found Becks sound .has the element of cartoon sound.makes him very unique. EVH HAD THAT ELEMENT ALSO
Hold on - is it a camera inversion thing?! The tuning keys on Jeff's guitar are on the 'wrong' side of the head stock . . . puzzling.
He has the neck flipped on his strat so it looks hendrix style for little wing. Strat necks are bolt on.

It's a Jimi Hendrix signature model. Jimi played left-handed with right-handed Fender Strats so the tuners were on the bottom.
No, it's not: JB has some of his strats built with a left-handed neck -- has to do with string tension & facilitatating bends.
