- This week we visit a lovely gem of a site in Wales situated alongside the river Dee and next to the Carrog Railway Station from where we take a train to the lovely town of Llangollen.

This is episode 129 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.

What a great stopover. I love the remote areas too, and have plenty of scope in Northumberland and the easy access to Scotland. #Tractive who be wonderful for Boo my cockerpoo and as she is always with me, would serve the dual purpose of putting my anxious girls mind at rest when I take off on my own in the motorhome. #tractive is a great idea and so helpful to relieve panic when our furry friends disappear out of sight however briefly! That was a great vlog. Love train rides (especially steam ones!) and Wales is a fantastic place to visit to do those! I was feeling very empathetic watching Sue help Archie off of the train. You do so well at keeping Archie lean. I really admire that especially dare I say because he’s a lab and known for their appetite!!?! Keeping weight off of Sasha while she’s been on her enforced rest has been a real challenge. Archie & Fudge look in really great shape and living their best life in the road I’m sure❤🚐🐶🐶👍.

Fantastic video as usual, we really enjoy watching your adventures. We’re a few years off retiring and doing it full time but we’ve reduced our working hours and enjoy long weekends away in our motorhome. Hoping to visit some of the great sites you’ve been to. Tracker looks great, we have a rescue Jack Russell that could do with one of these! X

Great reviews, I love seeing and hearing your adventures, particularly the dog walks. I am looking forward to trying some of the places out as soon as I can. My wcs (medium) has a high prey drive, like Fudge, so I have to keep him close and watch out for deer.

TFS . Makes me feel like I'm there . I've heard of people having chips put in their pets but I like the idea of the tracker better . If I had a pet I would choose that . OMG. 95 degrees. That sounds crazy heat. The only predictable thing about UK weather is that it will be unpredictable 😂 We have just experienced a very wet winter so everything crossed for a nice summer. 23 degrees centigrade is about perfect for us and we will likely get that sometimes. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Thank you for showing off our wonderful Llangollen and it's surrounding area on the River Dee. This area of North Wales is often sadly missed out and everyone heads off to Snowdonia. They don't know what they're missing. Did you visit the ruined castle above Llangollen, Dinas Bran, sometimes called the Castle of the Crow. Also very interested to learn about #Tractive, which would be of great help when our very active Yorkshire Terrier, Hani, who is 12 years old goes on walkabout. Loving the channel!!
You live in a beautiful part of Wales. Unfortunately we didn’t see the castle so a reason to come back. Hani sounds full of wisdom at 12 but a little tracker with lots of fun cool feature would be great. Good luck with comp. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
