I absolutly love how you find ways to recontextualize laughter. Karinas laughter turning into anxiety. Nathans laughter turning into scared noises as he's haunted by the bobby face.. just incredible.
I also find it fascinating how he can just fully understand WHO is laughing. Pick out the single laughter sound out of four and recognize it and perfectly synch it to the animation. And do it with all four of them. It's amazing!
My favorite things in this video: •The placid intro hard-cutting into a ROOM FULL OF FIRE! •Julia’s embarrassed smile •Nathan’s high-pitched laugh becoming a cry of fear at The Face •The dramatic zoom-in on Nathan when realization hits …so much to love!

The jump cut from the intro to the absolute chaos of Julia's drawing is editing perfection, and proof once again that it's the way you elevate these moments that makes you such a fantastic creator.
God I *love* the subtlety of the gags in the animation when Nathan starts noticing weird things. Julia’s face changing to Bobby’s, and then being able to *tell* she’s asking, “What?” with a confused expression when Nathan points at her. The eyes on Bobby moving to stare at Nathan, and then the stare down between him and the drawing before he realised the truth. This matches the unhinged energy of the original episode so well!
Nathan’s “EEEAE” at 1:17 is so elevated by the context you provided, giving Julia the face and having Nathan react, you really elevate the content, keep up the good work it’s hilarious.
Incredible dramatic zoom in on Nathan's face there as he came to the horrified realisation of the truth. It highlights something I really enjoy about these animations; they often emphasise moments that can sometimes get lost in the cross talk, and it gives it a really satisfying dramatic tension that can be hard to get with unscripted shows like drawfee
There are many fantastic things about this, but one thing I haven’t seen anyone mention is Julia’s hilarious look of pride and excitement while she’s waiting for them to guess, like a child who just pulled off a magic trick.
As if this clip wasn't funny enough on its own, changing the context to make Nathan seem terrified when Julia's face morphs into the drawing is SO good 😭 You always outdo yourself, it's incredible
I love that Julia is a fantastic artist and yet she struggles so much with these. It's encouraging as a fellow creative. I love everything about this animation, especially everything being on fire.
This is a full-blown masterpiece- I remember watching the original episode the day it came out and loosing my mind, laughing at the dumpster fire that this challenge was-- and you represented it s o w e l l. Nathan in particular had me dying, with all of his reactions to the face being everywhere, almost trying to convince him that he's going crazy-- right down to the moment of realization. This is great.
This was your best animation yet, hands down. The comedic timing was impeccable, and I loved the little gags you made from everyone’s horrified noises. 10/10
