I Got Selected for Officer Candidate School (OCC 244)

- Last Friday, I received a call that I have been accepted to attend Marine Corps Officer Candidate School upon my graduation from law school and after taking the bar. I am beginning a new chapter of my life, and I made this video to document this milestone. I have 5 months before I ship out to Quantico, VA, and I look forward to sharing more about the process and my training.

All of those will be good to know before shipping out for OCS
When you are tired, hungry, it’s dark outside, your cold, fatigue, you feel pain in your joints, or if you feel overwhelmed, etc - always remember your “Why”.
The sergeant instructors will be cold and relentless to everyone, but that’s their job (Your Platoon Sergeant will say at the end of the Period of Instruction that none of it was personal)
Think of your reason for being here, and remember that the pain won’t last forever. You can and you will get through this, and afterwards, you (and your family) will be rewarded ten fold!
