September 9, 2023, Officer Candidates of Alpha and Delta Company, OCC-244, arrive onto Brown Field for the first time to induct training.
Officer Candidates are assigned platoons and make phone calls home immediately upon arrival, then begin in-processing.
For many, this is where realization of what they are about to take on sets in.
