One of the things I like about your videos is that they always center around the tool and the work to be done. Just the facts. I'm just pointing out that your approach is different, and regardless of your subs and view numbers, it is greatly appreciated.
I've been trying to get a SOSPES knife for a few years now! I guess LT is no longer making these most awesome Tarzan-type knives anymore, which is a real knife industry shame, in my opinion! People that are hopeful of purchasing a SOSPES need to let LT know it, and maybe he'll bring this beauty back into production for his fans. Just looking at a SOSPES knife makes me feel like knife fighting an alligator! ( I REALLY NEED A SOSPES!)
Just got the Fox River EXT-2 LT. It's much different from first production run Fox River EXT-1! Both let my hand work over original Fox River which I liked enough to buy. I wish I would have modded that one!
so i finally figured it out ..... you keep Chris around so he can chop big pieces of tree into small pieces , he keeps you around so you can take the small pieces and craft them into spoons, cups , traps , and make feather sticks to start fires . excellent partnership in action , plus you don't have to sweat so much while he is out hacking down trees with a 3 lb knife !
Thanks Guys! Out of the 10 Bark River knives that I own the Fox River EXT cpm3v is my new favorite. Watching videos of other people enjoying this knife perfection helps me to justify preordering with DLT Trading. I went with curly koa burl, yellow liners and mosaic pins. Lol. The one I ordered is too beautiful to use soooo, Imma get another one in a canvas micarta.🤘
You know ever since I seen some of the first video so you two together that I've watched. I often kind of wondered if there wasn't a knife or to that you too both liked for your differences and uses of a knife
Another great BR knife. Does the Full height convex have a noticeably thinner (sharper) edge than the regular grind? I like that sheath a lot. No chance of cutting the retention strap. Thanks for reviewing it.
What neck knife is William wearing? I bought a Bark River Fox River and I hate it. I should have bought the EXT-1. I kept creeping up onto the blade. The handle on the EXT-1 would prevent that. Anyone want to buy a nearly new Fox River 3V (like new condition) that is only a month old?
I carry my vox rold in the pack everywhere ! Love that size knife as the middle size blade ! But if Im know Im going to be doing woidsmanship stuff I take the 151 m-tech . Got a kydex sheath for it ! And a silhy saw !
I thought about getting one but, after seeing a few different choices on your guys channel, for the price range I'm on the fence.. I like that new bark river.
I own Bark river and LT Wright knives , both great companies. However out of the 2, Bark river has the best warranty service bar none. I sent a Bird and trout knife for tip repair and they fixed it for free in one week with free return shipping. My LT Wright Sospes broke the front tip and sent for repair , though LT Wright wants money for return shipping costs and was hesitant on fixing the knife depending on the damage , they said they will fix it for free but I still need to pay return shipping costs. For knives this expensive they should be fixed for free and shipped back free. That is why I will choose Bark river over any LT Wright knife for future purchases , Their customer care and warranty is just the best and their knives are excellent quality , any issues and they fix it for free that says a lot about a knife company , Bark river is the best .
The retention strap is nessisary with heavy handled short bladed knives . These bushy knives need pouch sheaths to keep the from turning over and dumping your knife on the ground !!!
The Bark river Fox river EXT-1 is the same design as the Fox knives Fox FX-529 TUR , in N690 stainless steel , the Bark river costs $232 .00 for the basic micarta , the Fox Knives FX 529 is $155 with Cocobolo handle a $77.00 savings . The G-10 version is $153.00 . N690 is as good as 3V , so if you want to have a nice knife and save some money I would go with the Fox knives FX 529 TUR fixed blade over the Bark river EXT-1.
I think when it comes to knifes Chris should step back and let you talk since you have hands one experience and know about knifes, Chris is just the result of good marketing and the naivity on average consumers that d ont see the obvious and believe everything that gets promoted tgere, just look at what knifes Chris designed and the knife you designed the experience gets seen in the desighn and his designs ( three position handle :/ ) hahaha
ua-cam.com/video/qwe9eIlJeP8/v-deo.html I'm not Chris's biggest fan but he isn't stupid either. Oh and the handle on Jess X (batarang) worked just fine.

Anyone looking at this knife in new S45VN? I'd love it in S35VN!
This is my favorite bark river, I really hope they do a fox river 2 with a bravo handle (basically same handle as this just slightly larger)
Nice knife !
You know ever since I seen some of the first video so you two together that I've watched. I often kind of wondered if there wasn't a knife or to that you too both liked for your differences and uses of a knife
Yaaaaaya Will. Great video
Love when you two get together
Kind of a cool knife.
How well can you chock up on it though?
Thanks for the video
Great knife indeed.
I thought Scandi was the best (only) bushcraft grind.
Could you do a vid on grinds, which works best for what, which is also good etc.
Another great BR knife. Does the Full height convex have a noticeably thinner (sharper) edge than the regular grind? I like that sheath a lot. No chance of cutting the retention strap. Thanks for reviewing it.
Is your neck knife an LT Wright Great Plainsman? Have you done a review on it? Thanks!
Bill, how they call that kind of edge profile ? is not a flat grind
Bushcraft & Survival CR William Chaverri convex

Joe Taylor thanks for your view and comment
@Mantis Like th or gunny handle better?
Would have been nice to know that about the retention strap earlier. They also make a kydex sheath for it. Just an FYI.
Very nice
Looks sweet, I would have to save my pennies up for awhile but, I'm sure its worth it!.
Looks pretty much like the Bravo 1 without the thumb ramp.
Hey what do you guys think about the William Collins knives?
Nathan Reed I like them
