This is the classic example to all youtubers that you don't need fancy expensive camera equipment to make great content, This video was done on a phone. Amazing ❤️🍷,
If you ever drop electric device's in water, take the battery out immediately and never try to turn it on as it might fry the internals. Leave it to dry naturally, inside an airing cupboard is a good place as its warm, but not too hot that it'll damage the device. Also placing loads of silica gel packets with it is good too.
Wow man as an ex reg myself. Your vids are so inspirational I now go for walks to start of with but soon gonna start camping. Cheers man for all you do keep up the good work.
Mate, you should’ve took a fishing rod with you on this trip, brilliant to have by the river. Just stumbled across your channel and this is the first video that I have watched. Look forward to watching some more and keep up the good work!
Only a year behind lol just started to watch u tube and found yourself wow what a beautiful energy floating past the local residents lol and you saying hello to them and the bridge was awesome brought a big smile to my evening then gold dust seeing the majestic king Fisher awesome stuff craig
True class brotha handled the camera swim like a pro. Improvise overcome and adapt. Still crushed it on your phone. Awesome location and great positive attitude. Thank you for all that you do.
English guy camping solo under a bridge in England. Looks like a nice peaceful spot your on ! Rivers in Scotland flow a bit faster in most parts so if you end up coming up to the other country Scotland bring 2 paddles. Saor Alba 🏴
When leaving your camper alone always have the curtains pulled round as if your in there and have a pocket radio playing low as if your in there ( use a pocket one then you won't run your battery down) then people will think your asleep inside
Stumbled across this and very much enjoyed it. For me (for some strange reason) I LOVE it when folks linger over their cooking and actual eating of their food in the wild. Show us you are enjoying it as well as cooking it. Thanks for the (vicarious) experience.
Dipped my Nikon Z6 in a lake, so I know the feeling all too well. They just don't make them like they used to. Like your video style, my first stumble on your stuff.
cheers for the vid Craig, looked awesome. loved how positive you were after the camera went in the drink. most would have packed up and gone home, but not you. have an awesome sunday bud.
Sick, I’m dying on getting a canoe. This didn’t help haha. Get on some more trips like this one mate. Lemme know if you wanna hit up some Scandinavian fjords , lakes and missions! I’m always up for it
Chilling in my hammock with a beer before I head off to bed and enjoying your vid bro. ✌️love your positivity even when your camera went for a swim. Still smashed the video mate! Peace and love! 🏕🍂
My friend told me some guy on youtube was canoeing down the river then camping out. I just assumed that would be in Canada or New Zealand, then he was like na in England. I was like wtf.... show me this shit! And boom watched the whole video. How pleasantly superised i was with your channel man. Keep it up, the UK is so underated and people like yourself certainly show off the potential adventures to be had here. Happy new year!
Great video man, we go swimming there all the time with the kids, beautiful place! Going to have to get our canoe in the water and check that little bridge out! Always fancied a bit of wild camping, might have to give it a go this year. Thanks for the content 👊🏼
You’re in luck, I have lots of woodland, prairie and River bottom land to camp out on . The bad news is that it’s in Oklahoma USA and also that the beers are cold. But you’re welcome.
You beat me to it JW. I was going to offer my place in Australia. Plenty of land to camp on, surrounded by State Forest, a stream flowing through with nice clean water for drinking, washing & swimming. Biggest difference being at Xmas it's usually pretty bloody warm & so the beer would need to be chilled & tossed in an Esky. Otherwise identical ;-)
What a beautiful river and surrounds. If you ever come to Tasmania, we have a small wood on our 2 acres. More than welcome. Our son has 15 acres in South Australia. 😀🇦🇺
Santon Downham.. mad area. Some nice medieval landscape along that river. I'm in mundford..so it's my local water hole...along with lynford water..aka the quarry
@@EastAnglianBushcraft It is mate you know...Just a shame it gets so many that leave their beer cans up there when the bin is at the car park. Pure lazy. Hope you had fun on your adventures around Norfolk.
Another top notch video. Need to get out myself and find some different locations. Definitely up for a community meet up camp 🏕 keep us all posted on dates and location I'm sure there will be loads of us that will try and make it I know I will as long as work don't get in the way 🤘🏻
I subscribed a while ago and absolutely love your content. I'm a total newby with only 1 wild camp under my belt but I love the idea of a meet up. Have lots of family in Norfolk so absolutely love the area.
Yes Pal.. that was rite up my street/river! lol. thanks for taking me along. Brewdog! Boss. Im a subby! Keep it coming dude, i may have an offer of land! If you not sorted it.. L+P

I've subscribed recently to this channel, weirdly enough I wasn't really looking up outdoor/ wilderness survival vids, but randomly clicked on these last week and I must say the authenticity of these bushcraft videos and main character of course make these very enjoyable videos, saw a previous vid in the snow looked unreal, I'd say the wee at night was a whole other experience in itself haha anyway great work man keep um coming and hopefully the cameras components dried out for you! 😃👍
Well said. This channel is so great as it's an antithesis to fake Instagram stuff. It's real and reflects a love of the natural rather than the erstatz
hi just started watching you're videos,Iam not really into camping but the past few videos I've watched on your channel the more I like to at least give it a try great content and information young fellow 👍😎❤️
I just had this video come across my feed. First one of yours. I truly enjoyed it. Just a real relaxed feel, with zero pretense. I'd drink a beer with you any day. Cheers from Central Texas.
Very nice , I do some kayaking in Western Australian ( south West, no crocodiles only snakes ) The Go pro water proof camera. I had similar . The case seems to have a problem. You test the seal then open again and re fit camera. I did then rolled over and camera full of water : (
Craig, we have a very small wooded area in South Norfolk very close to River Yare. It may be of interest, let me know. Pub with slipway onto Yare about 15min walk. Nice (easy/short) canoeing into Surlingham and Rockland Broads. (4 village pubs within 3 miles of canoeing!).
if your struggling with places to camp as a group, rutland water camping (the 1 on the island) rented us a field to have a cannabis social club meet n camp. They kept us away from the families camping, but allowing us to use there facilities. They also let us have camp fires which was pretty cool. it was around 5 years ago but still might be worth a shout.
