I'm not sure why they went from cute and shy looking creatures to dollar store Raymans (Raymen?) in 2018-2021.
I think the new designs aren’t terrible

@Rasheed Loudermilk Try it. Rayman is very good series sadly last game was released 10 years ago. Ubisoft wanna more to make Assassins Creed all over again and again.
"Rayman" is a mispronunciation of "Raymond".
I've played the first Lemmings on the Amiga. I completely forgot about this game until recently. Didn't even know there were more. ❤️

I actually love the new designs. If they made a full on game on steam, put with love and effort put into it, I reckon it would rock

Really it's a testament to how utterly brilliant the original was.
Have you played the Android version? No time limit, no limit on actions, rubbish controls, no variety in the levels, shit music and tons of adverts and in app purchases. Awful
Fun fact: this game was developed by DMA Design, now known as Rockstar North of Rockstar games.
Indeed, both Lemmings and the original GTA were designed by Mike Dailly.

The psp version was the best modern version of the game. The original is iconic to me in my life as a gamer so I'm tough to please haha

probably best Lemmings was the first for the MegaDrive. Best performance and sound for its era
The Mega Drive music sounds good but it's no better than the Amiga original, especially as you really want a mouse for Lemmings.
I'm neutral on music but so far, the Amiga did pack more sound capability even for having 4 channels.
I still prefer the old version

Sony would do a complete fan service allowing Lemmings to go multi platform on other consoles and their own and just doing a remake and port of the originals or doing a new game that goes back to the good formula we all know and love. Mobile gaming always killed it. Heck even Sony has done a disservice not doing it on anything past the PlayStation consoles that are the PS3 and Vita. Do they not believe in the franchise that much to do real entries? I get why some franchises they would keep exclusive but Lemmings should never have gone exclusive like it did for years and should be shared with the world way more and give it new life!

Isn't it sad that lemmings turned into a pay to win mobile game? Where is the charm of the pixelated graphics? Now you can waste (?) your time by playing thousand of levels (found this information on a walk-through channel) without any love to detail, just same elements in thousand different combinations. Did the story end with lemmings 2 - tribes?

If you want to play a modern lemmings, play Humanity. Its basically a 3d lemmings.
The original Leggemings was such a creative game for its time; who it the comments think so.

The Amiga had the best and most versions of Lemmings - you could emulate it easily enough with WinUAE.

Where is 1994's "All New World Of Lemmings" aka "The Lemmings Chronicles"?
There should be an ultra violent version of lemmings with gibs and blood effects when a lemming fall from an exceeding height, explode or fall victim to a trap.
Also with commentary from the lemmings along the way: " I feel expandable!" "Such is life!" "Oh no my best friend!" "Good bye cruel world!" "mommy!" "I will make my father proud!" "Dis is mah job!" "Emperor Banzai!" "Allah hu Akba!" "I don't want to die!" "I embrace it!" "Take care of my goldfish!"

It's a pitty they don't publish new lemmings games for PC.
I feel like lemmings 2 was the only title that innovated over the original in a meaningful way.
The newer they get, the crappier they are.

Очень сложная игра. Даже на первом уровне сложности "Fun" не так все просто а уж потом... 😂🎉 Игра на любителя большого хардкора, ходя я дошел до 4 последнего уровня в свое время, прохождение уровня "Taxing" меня так вымотало что я бросил ее нафиг пусть играют дальше те кому это нравится 😂🎉

They always mess up the remakes, like they did with Sensible Soccer. This one is not as bad as the previous remakes, but still isn't really there yet.

All the sound skipping is distracting as hell. Next time just play short continuous snippet of a level.
The character design loses a lot of charm in the last few iterations. Massively prefer the bright colours and rounded features in the earlier iterations! Later versions look lazy and commercial and are obviously driven by what is currently selling on mobile.

@@MichaelGGarry I disagree. Well partially. In the 80s yes, but Adlib's Yamaha chip shat all over this in 1990 so by the time Lemmings 1 came out in 91, it objectively sounded shit compared to what else you could get at the time.
