So my husband and I bought a new tv a few days ago and my husband was saying how it barely fit in our suv. They are informative and entertaining, as well as an inspiration to me to try some of my own projects! We live in an old house that we have been renovating forever, it seems. We do not have central heat, and our guest bedrooms get "shut off" in the winter and are not heated. When someone visits, we open up the bedrooms to allow the heat to get to them, but it would be great to have one of the Sothing Star Heater/Humidifiers to put in the guest bedrooms! And also regularly run a clean washer cycle. If yours doesn’t have one, run a hot water cycle with bleach through the empty washer. Then rinse again. I do this along with keeping the door open and have never had an issue…20 years with a front loader.

Washing soda, baking soda, or citric acid work every bit as well but break down into the water system with no harm whatsoever. They're also less caustic to the inner workings of the machine - particularly the rubber parts.

Yeah, for top loaders! Mildew smell is sad when you have 4 children. I should have requested your great design tips when setting up my new laundry/bathroom. Also, I will be investigating the heater, as my propane heater is giving a big "pouf" of blue flame when it comes back on, so it is off until they thoroughly clean it. I noticed the humidifier/stove immediately when Dean was in that room. I thought to myself how contemporary the stove looked. I just added 5 new contemporary chairs to my living room (to update it) and visualized how nice the stove would stand out in my living room. Very classy looking piece of floor art.
Tip for anyone who has front load, during the summer after you finish washing open the door to keep it from growing mold and stinking. Also do a clean cycle ever so often with some washer tabs (for cleaning washers)

That heater is so cool! I love the humidifier feature. My husband and I purchased our first home last year, it’s a cozy little log house. That heater/ humidifier would look so good in our bedroom! That heater is so pretty & would be so useful for our home. We live in a 1920's home in IL (snow is on the way) that has such poor insulation that causes our ameron bill to be $$$$! I love the safety features too since we have two toddlers! This looks like such a great product!

Wow if you saw my laundry room in the basement you would die it’s horrible and no fun too. On my new home I just bought , your your video inspired me to actually try to do it my self I am so excited to give this a try , keep in mind I’m not a diy person so it’s a challenge so any feedback back would be helpful . I’m an easy sell for a good space heater and have them all over my house and office. I’ll run one in the middle of summer in my office because all the ladies like to freeze me! My catch phrase is, “I’m cold!” I’m also a bit bougie, so this space heater speaks my language!!

Yeah, for top loaders! Mildew smell is sad when you have 4 children. I should have requested your great design tips when setting up my new laundry/bathroom. Also, I will be investigating the heater, as my propane heater is giving a big "pouf" of blue flame when it comes back on, so it is off until they thoroughly clean it. Thank you both for all the laughs. Always a joy watching! 😊

That heater looks amazing. I live in a 1980 manufactured home, with a pellet stove for heat. I think the heater would be the answer for our bedroom with no heat

Y'all are such an inspiration to all of us! :) and I'm so glad I (a novice "builder") am not the only one who struggles with tools choosing to do random things! I spent the last 24 hours creating a closet in one of our kids' bedrooms while they were gone with Grandma and just about everything that could slow down progress did. It did get done in time and it is loved, though not perfect. Now, I'm enjoying another project, only this time as a spectator. Thanks for all you are and do--your humor, inspiration, great relationship and love for family and life.

I would love a beautiful space heater/humidifier like that for our detached homeschool. I have a compromised immune system, so I'm sick more often and being in a freezing room doesn't help. My 8 year old daughter would love it too!!

Living in Florida we only use heat a couple weeks a year, but this would be sooo nice and such a blessing to our home. We have been working on remodeling an older home for a few years and little at a time because cancer messes up everything. Thank you for ALL your videos, you are inspirational!

My wife bought a magnetic hook that stays on the washer to help keep the door open. Works great!

I noticed the humidifier/stove immediately when Dean was in that room. I thought to myself how contemporary the stove looked. I just added 5 new contemporary chairs to my living room (to update it) and visualized how nice the stove would stand out in my living room. Very classy looking piece of floor art.
Tip for anyone who has front load, during the summer after you finish washing open the door to keep it from growing mold and stinking. Also do a clean cycle ever so often with some washer tabs (for cleaning washers)
