WARNING... AD BAIT channel! Trying to disguised a UA-cam Ad as a UA-cam Video. DO NOT BE FOOLED! SCAM!!!
Pronunciation is key an nals vs anals emphasis on the 2 Ns vs cornholio
Annals yes, but it's pronounced like Anvil, not the way you were saying it...
Love Tyler's Tiberon face. LOL!!
Valiant in 1960 was stand-alone in Mopar but folded into Plymouth in '61 to bolster falling Plymouth sales. I happen to think it BEAUTIFUL! Go figure.
My favorite UA-cam channel. Good Morning UA-cam and Hoovie’s Garage!!
Hoovie, if you put a legal pad or newspaper on the table, Neelix will lay there and not wander around while you're filming.
Remember, a Reliant Robin almost became Britian's first reusuable space vehicle.......almost
and they called him...THE STIG
The best Top Gear episode 👍🏻
@@holidaymail One small stepladder for man....
Neelix, like his namesake on Star Trek Voyager, is underappreciated and largely unrecognized as the heart of the show. As the official " Moral Officer" of Good Morning UA-cam, Neelix needs top billing, and a raise!
Nelix also needs a bed on the table that she can use at any time. She also needs to be not unceremoniously dumped off the table as well.
This is Nelix's world. Tyler doesn't realize that yet. 🤣
@@brianfranco7808 I agree
What do cats know of morals?
My favorite UA-cam channel is Good Morning UA-cam!
The list is missing the SmartCar, Aztek and the legendary Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet.
The Murano has its own homage on SavageGeese that is Oscar worthy 😂
You can't forget Mitsubishi's electric car, the Mi-EV1, or whatever it's called!
Don't forget the Suzuki X-90!
My list of bad looking cars would be largely different from the list you gave. I've now gotten over my disgust with car designers because ugly is clearly in the eye of the beholder. That stainless steel electric urinal on wheels is where I make an exception.
April I had difficulties concentrating but I loved the video.
Maybe you should find yourself a woman 😢
Chrysler products in the late 50's , like the '57 & '58 Plymouths actually sold very well . The Virgil Exner cab forward design was popular in the late 50's . But a couple of years later in the early 60's , it was a different story , the designs , like Hoovie said were over the top and odd looking , such as that '61 Valiant , or '61 Imperial . Which is why Virgil Exner was fired after coming up with the design for the '62 Plymouths which turned out to be a big sales flop .
heck yea...my 1st car back in '82 was a '58 Plymouth Fury that was almost identical to Christine
I was thinking about buying an HHR and joined the Facebook group. These people are passionate about their cars. Many people own multiples or have owned several. They are supposedly reliable and last many miles. Yours was an excellent one but I decided they were too small to camp in and travel in. Looking for an Astro or Safari van. They got a following too. LOL
That photo of the white Reliant Robin was taken 30 miles from my home in Utah! There's also a Mazda T2000 running around Provo, UT. I drive past where it's parked a couple times a week.
I’d like to see that T2000. Where is it? Will they sell it?
Still can’t get over hoovie gets to put cream in her coffee everyday.
Yikes.
Yugo, Lada, along with most of the one's mentioned except the Ferrari. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
The Reliant could be driven on a motor cycle licence in the UK. That is why people bought them.
Not when they had a reverse gear.
Ahhh ok that explains a lot
I thought it also had to do with tax, as it was taxed as a motorcycle as well.
not
Correct.
Back in the day, it was really easy to get a motorbike license and motorbikes were cheap transport for blue-collar workers.
When you got married and had kids, a motorbike wouldn't really cut it any more so Reliant figured the Robin would be an attractive upgrade.
The Durango - it’s those hideous headlights
I’m surprised no Gremlin. I had a Gremlin X with the 305 v8 back in the 70s. I was laughed at UNTIL we lined them up. It was faster than most!!!
engine swap? I had a '73 Gremlin with the 304 4bbl & I loved it
@@SquirminHermanthe1eyedGerman maybe it was a 304 - I was thinking it was architecture borrowed from GM
@@RonKnowsStuff lol AMC did have their own engines {258, 304, 343, 390, 401} but they did source parts from Ford & Chevy since they were so cash strapped! I also had a '76 Jeep with the 304
You are so blessed Tyler...Tyler winning
The 1960 Valiant sedan was positively boring looking in comparison to Chrysler Corp. other offerings. I would love to have one now, along with the slant 6 engine it came with. There are lots of stupider looking cars than some on this list, ... Pontiac Aztek, 1957 Edsel, early VW T-4, Tatra, Cybertruck... Shall I continue?
Love your show!!! Do wonder why you call it "Good morning UA-cam" when it doesn't post until afternoon? I enjoy it anyhow and the wide ranging content. Keep it coming! I enjoy Nelix as well. You have a neat cat who lets you do anything to it, unlike the two cats I have who are lazy and boring.
This is a good relationship for you T!!! Please don’t hurt him lady!!! He’s fragile!!! You will destroy him if you leave.
Russian "Amber" Monstrosity is just a chassis test mule designed by some university. It even has Испытания (Tests) written on it instead of licence plate. Not a real production car.
i highly suspect "tesla-killer" that Tyler added when commenting it was just western media sensationalism
Out of all those stupid looking cars I love that beautiful 1958 Dodge truck ✌💖☮
Those "sweptsides" are cool! Dodge's response to the Chevy Cameo.
@@davidtoups4684 yup & the Cameo is a good looking truck but I prefer my MOPARS the past 60 yrs
Please buy the Saab!! I would love any Saab content on this or your main channel! Been hoping for it for a long time! I currently drive the 2011 9-4x and have owned a 1999 9-3 hatchback prior to that.
The 50’s and early 60’s mopars kinda look like the car Homer Simpson helped his long lost brother design
I was taking pics of an SVJ roadster & a Relient Robin drove past!! The Robin got more looks than the Aventador!! 🤣🤣🤣 Xx
9:56 ~ Is that the Mighty Car Mods little garage.
My goodness. APRIL! Hoovie, your punching way above your level, and good for you! I truely hope you both stay together. Match made in heaven.!!
April excellent comment on the cyber truck calling them unfinished. The look like a one off prototype made from an auto shop / high school!
It’s a metal version of the Geoff that topgear made
I had a 63 Valiant convertible and it was great. Sharp six cylinder with good mileage and build quality. Until it was destroyed by an out of control driver who rear ended it at 45 miles per hour when it was parked. I parted it out in my driveway and I had a line of people fighting over the engine! If I could find a good one today I’d buy it.
I feel like there is a bit more April to love now. Things seem to have been enhanced even more so than they were....
Pontiac Aztec is not on the list? WTF?
Agreed
Cars are so ugly nowadays, even the Aztec looks not so bad compared to what is out for sale.
Aztec was just a head of its time 😂 half the small crossovers have copied that design. At a minimum at least it was an original design vs the rest of the Pontiac line up that was rebadged Holdens
Off car subject…I didn’t know who April was until Hoovie or so I thought. I hear her on my drive into work every night with Steve Gorman on rock radio station 105.9 Gadsden Alabama. Also I didn’t recognize her from MTV years. Anyway this is great content from you both, keep it up!
nissan juke should be on here
That quad-eyed Tiburon was the facelifted first generation one. The original front and rear fascia was way better looking IMO. (disclosure: I own a 1st gen non-facelift Tiburon)
Your cat upstaging you two reminds me of the early 90’s during which I had one cat that sensed whenever I called into a radio talk show and he would become very vocal to the point that one female show host would repeatedly ask about him.
The bane of car design in the present day is the white (they're always white) 4-door econobox where the Nissan looks exactly like the Mazda which looks exactly like the Toyota which looks exactly like the Honda which looks exactly like the Daihatsu which looks exactly like the blah, blah, blah. The ugliest cars on your list are at least as good and more likely, better than any of these on the list. The Toyota Corolla makes the AMC Gremlin look like a supercar. The Nissan Sentra makes the Buick Opel look like something from The Jetsons. At least the Plymouth Valiant had personality and class, not some wind tunnel escapee smoothed over to the point where it looks like a squashed marshmallow. Oh, and what is with the badging on cars nowadays? Do they just hire some kid in kindergarten to do a Rorschach test and then stick that on the front of the car? Don't even get me started on the Kia Soul(less). Car companies are lazy in their designs. Let's not forget the Pontiac Aztek, some GM "designer"s brainfart or the Chevy Avalanche, the first plastic pick up truck. For crying out loud, they are building these cars out of plastic and tinfoil; the least they could do is make cars that look good!!
I can see the brands of the cars you mentioned in your first statement. Hahahah...so you're saying all Asians look the same.
The Amphibicar is kind of the Maxwell Smart to James Bond's lotus submarine car.
I didn't expect to see the second-gen Durango on here, but I agree. It's got a similar front fascia to what the Ram would later get, but the Ram was much better proportioned. Looking at the 2004-06 Durango now, it looks squashed. I think there's also some retro station wagon-inspired design that didn't translate well to a modern-ish SUV. The mid-cycle refresh was better, as was the Chrysler Aspen. Those two weren't anything to write home about, but they looked more normal.
I test drove an '04 Durango - I liked everything about it, except for a bit of limited elbow room in the front and restricted forward vision...I ended up buying a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe and drove it for 9 years...😊
I have to disagree with you on the Cybertruck. I know it is a polarising piece because it tends to make us either hate it or love it. I find it very impressive and futuristic looking and I actually love the design. It is just a pity that we will not see it in Norway for many years to come, unless a billionaire imports it for the fun of it. Also, our roads are not made for those enormous cars and it will stand out for that reason alone, like any other big pickup truck. We somehow find those huge cars a solid waste of space, because there are so few that actually are used as a real utility vehicle. We tend to use the professional trucks, or a smaller cargo van instead, as they are much more economical to drive and buy. But the cybertruck would attract lookers like flies on a turd.
That opener touched on a spicy point for Hoovie.
Big miss on the Pontiac Aztec. I vote We remove the Enzo and add the Aztec. Oh, and I think the sports family truckster should have a place in there as well, even though it wasn’t actually a production vehicle
ANOTHER great episode !
Good list, although I was hopping to see the Pontiac Aztek!!
I live in California in San Jose, the Bay Area and you see hundreds of those cyber trucks every day.
I like the way he doesn’t take any stuff from her !Good one 👍
Completely agree with the Durango. Massacred that truck.
April is improving Tyler's fashion
There are a lot of dumb looking cars.... the Nissan Cube, The Rolls Royce Camargue, Citroen 2CV, DS, etc. Those are hideous- and I'll fight you :D! It is pure sacrilege to include the Enzo on that list.....no, when you see one in the wild.... it makes absolute sense.
Nelix could build a better list than Jalopnik.
Also, Tyler calling Nelix "stupid looking" is another pot / kettle moment. BE NICE TO NELIX!
Jalopnii is a bunch of incompetent commies.
Good Morning, I had the Citi Car for a bit a cheese Wedge.
WARNING... AD BAIT channel! Trying to disguise a UA-cam Ad as a UA-cam Video. DO NOT BE FOOLED! SCAM!!!
Lincoln MKT circa 2010 aren’t lookers, I’d also include the PT Cruiser, 07 Jeep Compass and the 14 Jeep Cherokee. The Cherokee was the worst to me because it used the (XJ)Cherokee name.
I'm shocked the Pontiac Aztek and Chrysler PT Cruiser weren't on here since they're on everyone's list of ugly cars. They're low hanging fruit.
Hoovies commitment to childish humour never gets old🤣🤣👍🏻
I love the showed the Daihatsu in the Mighty Car Mods garage.
New Car Trek please . Auto Tempest suck for not giving us a Christmas episode everyone that wants new Car Trek blow up the comments !
The Robin was supposedly drivable without a driver's license which helped its popularity..kind of like scooters now
For some reason the first generation Hyundai Tiburon makes me think that would be the result of what a spider would look like if it lost all its legs and was turned into a car lol
Tyler, I live really close to Nunica,MI.
Let me know if you need a car guys extra set of eyes on that SAAB.
Reliant was building 3 wheelers for so long because there were loopholes in both the road tax rules and the driving license rules for trikes, they carried on for a while even after the rules changed simply because some old farts liked them, once they all died off the company couldn't sell any more.
I agree on the Ferrari Enzo - HORRIBLE! And THAT was supposed to honor the Ferrari patriarch?! 😮😅
The Enzo also screams, "HEY, EVERYBODY, LOOK AT ME!!!!I HAVE A TINY WEENIE!!!!!"
Surprised the ´58 Edsel wasn't on the list. Not saying I don't like them, but they do have a mug. My contribution to this list would be the ´75 and on Chevy Nova. Not a stupid car at all, but the front end of it, I feel like it's just saying N-HNNNGGNNNUUHBRLBRLBRLBRL!
Also, I envy you 'muricans who don't get to see Fiat Multiplas on your streets.
Forward look cars and trucks are cool! And the 1958 Cameo is the best! I have one! And 1958 Plymouths! 2
I live down the road from Nunica! Let me know if you could use some help!
I agree that the Ferrari Enzo and Porsche 959 are rather silly looking. Whether or not they are great cars is another consideration entirely. Just because they're expensive sports cars from a popular brand shouldn't shield them from from being put on this list. So I agree with Jalopnik on this one. They should probably include the late model BMW's with their gigantic buck-teeth grills, too. That said, I'd still love a chance to drive any of them.
The Cybertruck could be made out of plywood -- a plywood go-cart...
That truck is a Sweptside. They were built from 1957 to 1959. The fins are 1957 2 door Dodge station Wagon rear quarters.
The Reliant Robin Van Like Del Boy had in Only Fools & Horses Drove. had advantages at one time in the UK, You could drive them on a provisional licence I know this as my Aunt had one all legal. The other advantage is many bikers who only had a full bike licence were ok to drive them in winter. The Fiat Multipla I gather the seats are able to go in many configurations 3 wide in the front and stuff, I would never drive that fish bowl.
The best SAAB is the 900 Turbo.
Amber looking great today, is the leg pain gone now.
It was NOT a Reliant Robin in the TV show, it was the Reliant Regal 700cc Supervan.
Saw my first Cybertruck yesterday, it was wrapped in a weird blue/green color. Looked like a Lego. Big letdown.
The Enzo is ABSOLUTELY goofy looking, but its an ABSOLUTE BEAST!
The Robin didn't have any anti roll over devices from the factory they really were that prone to falling over.
Pontiac Aztec would of been on the list, but Cybertruck bumped it.
hey you just are from Chicago that is just like Indiana just kidding i love the show.
I've seen several cybertrucks around LA, they are stupid looking. Make sure you do a towing video if you ever get one. 😂
I remember the old reliant factory just down the road from me in two gates in Tamworth. Had one of the new reliant scimitar two seater when they came out.
Princess Anne had one, you know.
They forgot the Infinity SUV's that look intelligence deprived.
WOW April HHR hate lol Both my parents drive HHR's one is a panel. Just remember there are people who Collect K Cars from the 80's!!
I watch to listen to April giggle!
Hoovie you need to wrap an SLR in Flesh colored wrap. Lol
Maybe some vein racing stripes
All Mopar Is Awesome. Tyler is a sinner. 😂 well he is right about the last generation of Durango. Damn it. I'll keep my first gen Dakota and be happy
Still have most of my MOPARS...'73 Plymouth Fury III Sport Coupe, '72 Chrysler Newport, '83 Dodge D150, '72 Plymouth Fury II Gran Sport, '92 Dakota 5.2 & '96 Ram 5.9 ✌💖☮
@@SquirminHermanthe1eyedGerman seen in profile pic is a 1998 Ram 5.9 4x4 with new and reman everything. Just needs a short box, rear bump and some quad doors. In OBidens economy seems hopeless to see the completion of the project. Money ran out 2 years ago and never came back. And to get a Classic Mopar hell will surely have to freeze over. Sadly.
@@jonathanfreedom1st I been doing really well in this economy & business is great, been making a ton of money working around 45-50 hrs a week! Car manufacturers on the other hand have gotten ridiculous with their price gauging & the classic car market is way beyond what I can afford or willing to pay even though everything I own {home, property & all vehicles} are paid for! I will just keep what I got & fix them if they need it but fortunately they all still run good & need nothing! You should get you a better paying job unless you live where the economy sux like up north or in Kalifornistan
I will always pick ugly or strange over the fugly lazy SUV designs we've had for 30 years.
The poor old Edsel didn't even make the list.
I used to love reading jalopnik, but something changed a while ago (not really sure what it was) & i just lost interest. I'll see something pop up from a jalopnik & its usually a terrible take on whatever it is they're trying to talk about
Robert Dunn of Aging Wheels has a Reliant Robin and some good UA-cam content on them (as well as bunch of other odd cars and car like machines).
The "Mighty Car Mods" UA-cam channel made it on the list. Daihatsu Copen. @Moog
The CyberTruck IS stupid looking.
Don't hate the scalene triangle
I think we can all collectively agree that the Enzo just hasn't aged well. It's not particularly bad just not a timeless design.
I'm here for 2 things, and Neelix
OK, so we're at Episode 83 now. Has April worn the same outfit twice yet?
The 1950 '51 bullet nose Studebakers some folks thought looked a little odd.
And don't forget the Nissan murano convertible lol
I’m going to guess none of these would make the “Cool Wall” 😝 Only Top Gear Fans would get this
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
To be clear, if its not a "shooting brake" Jalopnik thinks it's ugly.
I'm glad the Fiat Multi🤮 was on there.
Ssangyong looks like a variation of the Pontiac Aztec
They're right about the Enzo. Also, didn't you drive Robert Dunn's Reliant Robin, Hoovie?
7:43: That Durango bumper was lowered for safety reasons, but it came off looking like a fat lip.
Who would say the Enzo looks stupid? I wonder if their mind would change if someone handed the keys to them.
Does the Russian car Amber have 311's Amber playing in the background?!😊
