One of the greats. He's not just a cowboy, a director, or an actor. He is Clint Eastwood
And he is also the fastest gun of all the actors. Him and sammy davis jr were real quick draw gun slingers in Real life
@@matzlindfors8987 The fastest was Glen Ford.
He is 90 years old and still directing great movies, he has a legendary career with phenomenal and iconic movies, excellent performances and some really fun and underrated flicks, so he doesnt need to be always on the top with always new movies or projects.....these WTF videos are more necessary for actors like James Woods, Michael Biehn, Sharon Stone....
I am still waiting for one on Tom Berringer, but would love a WTF happen to on Michael Biehn!
Close,.........92. Born May.31, 1930
He’s 92
James Woods is batshlt insane.
I met Michael Biehn last week and he's doing just fine ☺️
Gran Torino is one of the most bittersweet films I've ever seen. That will reading scene absolutely kills me every single time.
The problem is, he gave that pro republican speech proving he doesn't believe what he directs. They are not known for tolerance.
One of the best lines EVER uttered in a movie:
"There are two kinds of men; those with guns, and those who dig."
Also - "A man's got to know his limitations "
@@Pahoe77Godhead, make my day...do I feel lucky, well do you punk, dying ain't much of a Livin boy..if you want to be a guarantee, buy a toaster
Clint Eastwood is a National Treasure, an icon for the ages.
There will NEVER be anythingsimilar to Clint Eastwood again. A true original.
How many invented characters in a variety of forms and genres have not been based on him or one of his characters? A LOT is all that can be said.
Bless this man !!!
Im sure all the women he abused would say the same thing
"Escape from Alcatraz" is still probably the best prison escape movie ever made along with "Papillon" & "Shawshank Redemption". He gave a great performance
I’ve long said the same thing regarding Escape From Alcatraz. Easily among my top Clint movies, and my favorite prison movie (# 2 prison movie for me is Cool Hand Luke).
“I’m still here you bastards!”
Awesome movie! It used to be on tv all the time when I was a kid. Odd thing was how back then they used to dub or mute out a lot of obscenities (even "God damn!"), but that scene on the steps stayed completely intact. Lol!

I really Escape because it effectively shows the despair of being in prison.
The thing about Clint Eastwood is that when it comes to his movies even at his worst his films are still better then most films released today. Heck if Cry Macho turns out to be his last (praying it's not) he'll still be going out on a high note, even if Cry Macho was a little underwhelming.
He’s one of the few in Hollywood that doesn’t follow the mainstream narrative. And he’s a legend!
Clint Eastwood is one of my heroes. I love the man and most of his work, especially his Westerns.
Clint Eastwood told the ghost in the empty chair that unless he's feeling lucky, he'd better get off his lawn or he'll sing with Clyde.
😆
Right turn Clyde..
🤔🤨😟😕🧐. I Don't Know if I Can Relate With Your Comment?
I grew up watching his Westerns; especially the "Spaghetti" ones. Dad loved them. I wasn't allowed to watch the "Dirty Harry" movies-- "too violent." (I didn't understand why watching him shoot people in old Westerns was somehow less violent than shooting people in the 1970s.)
But, I absolutely love the movies he's made late in life. He's addressed many significant issues and brought attention to the cost of war, and the struggles of military veterans; getting his message across without being "preachy" or histrionic.
Mr. Eastwood shot several scenes for "Trouble with the Curve" in my hometown. Most of the other locations were only within an hour's drive, so I know quite a few people who worked on the fiilm. They used very few "Professional" extras for non-speaking parts; mostly choosing regular folks who showed up early the same day they were filming. My cousin was actually chosen because "they liked her look;" which she laughingly said was, "over-weight, middle-aged mom." Lol
After filming, there were people complaining that unlike Justin Timberlake & John Goodman (who is one of the nicest guys I've ever met); Eastwood didn't interact with folks between scenes or after filming ended. He didn't sign autographs or take selfies with the fans, much to their dismay.
I'm like, "Dude is 82 fricking years old! Cut him some slack. He went to his trailer to rest in between filming. It was hot, and he was filming in bright sunshine for hours. I've seen dozens of pics of him signing autographs over the years, even when he was being mobbed by fans, or stalked by the paparazzi. Or maybe, he just wasn't feeling so great that day. Dude is 82 fricking years old, has been up since 5 am, and spent hours on his feet, filming all day. He's certainly nicer than most crotchety, octogenarians I know." 😉
And, I never witnessed Mr. Eastwood acting rude, demanding, condescending, or expecting sycophantic worship. He was soft spoken & polite. He was solicitous to the Director, his costars, and the film crew, and I certainly didn't see him act like a Diva, (unlike many of the MUCH less famous "celebrities" I've worked with over the years-- none of whom who come within miles of his legendary status.)
👍👍💖💖

There is NOBODY that has the presence of Clint Eastwood. I love his unique style and having watched Every movie he has starred in and directed I can only say He is one of The Greatest.
92 years old and still going strong Clint is a living legend.
This didn't age so well, RIP to Clint Eastwood tho
I watched Pale Rider only 2 nights ago (decades since I'd watched it) and The Outlaw Josey Wales is next.
There are legends within film, those whose names are remembered long after they stop acting, directing or whatever area they work in. Only the truly talented can reach that status and Clint is one of them.
I know he's still with us but he's getting on. Most people of his age would have retired long ago but he keeps popping up with the odd directed film although Cry Macho was his bowing out film IMO.
Like a fine wine, Clint got better with age. Not only has he starred in many a famous film but man, can he direct!!! He's got 45 directing credits as well as 72 acting. Not all of those films are great and in my 43 years of being around I've seen the vast majority but that is a legacy. Plain and simple.
For me he really showed his skill from Unforgiven onwards with such films as A Perfect World, Million Dollar Baby, American Sniper and......Gran Torino (what a film!).
I salute you Mr Eastwood! Legend.
This makes me want to go back and watch EVERY Clint Eastwood movie again.
I learned 2 new things: Clint Eastwood has a real-life badass near death experience and the origin of the term "spaghetti Western".
And he wound up as a swimming instructor in the Army because of this/.
I remember when I was a little girl and my mom said " he's so handsome" that is when he was in a show called Rawhide. She also said he is gonna be a big ⭐. Boy was she right. I remember going to see the good , the bad, and the ugly at the drive in. He certainly is a wonderful actor and director. Love all his work. He also has so many memorable lines .. Make my day😊

Clint doesn’t even need to work anymore if he doesn’t want to. The man is a living legend & already has a couple awards on his mantle and can retire whenever he wants
I still think this man is also excellent in really underrated and fun enjoyable flicks like "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot", "Kelly's Heroes", "Where Eagles Dare" & "Pale Rider"
Yep! Always have liked him! Most his time is directing......but 2 🎥's in his age now; 1 "The Mule". 2. "Cry Mocho". ......"Gran Torino".....really good! "Trouble with the Curve"......good too......
Great picks for the underrated Clint flicks. I will add “Coogan’s Bluff” and “ The Gauntlet” to that list. Plus gotta throw in his directorial debut and the the precursor to Fatal Attraction: “Play Misty for Me”. The man is an icon!
Yeah, Play Misty was good! Freakie, Jessia Walters!!!! Check "Bronco Billy" light, but still good. I like Geoffrey Lewis & others in that too! Lewis was in quite a few of his 🎥💨

Great presentation. There are some actors who cannot be cancelled and Clint Eastwood is one. Elvis and John Wayne are in that category. All were flawed humans but they and others will shine long after they're gone. Bogart, anybody?
Definitely need a WTF happened to Sergio Leone. It’s a sad tale but definitely worthy of telling.
Much like Kurasowa and Mifune, Sergio and Clint are pretty synonymous with each other
I *think* this series only covers people who are still alive.
I missed an opportunity to be one of the background cowboys in 'Unforgiven'.
I shake my head at that everyday...all these years later lol
"Absolute Power" is criminally underrated. So good.
He has more manliness in him than 90% of currentl Hollywood
I'd say more like 99.
At 37 years old, there are two Clint Eastwoods. My parents grew up with the actor, I grew up with the noted director. Both Clints are awesome.
I haven't seen any "Rawhide", "The Changeling" or "Cry Macho"... but whatever high/low they reach NOTHING breaks the sheer volume of quality from this man. One gets overwhelmed every time one gets his production presented. I just can't get to think of anyone being able to show off this amount of masterpieces, cult favourites, educational and insanely entertaining movies. The word I think is appropriate is "awe".
I just had to click on this when it popped up. There will never be anyone who can compare to Clint Eastwood. He makes a flat screen become 3D. And there's some films on here that I wasn't aware of, so I think I'll check those out.
The info about Unforgiven is very interesting. It's probably the best Western I've ever seen, yet it's so effective in dispelling the glamor of killing. Mr. Eastwood is difficult to figure out. Some of his work is brilliant. Some of his movies are ground-breaking. I don't know if he's a good learner, incredibly lucky or some kind of casual hard-working genius.
Perfect world is still one of my Favorites to date! Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman and Clint Eastwood together that would be some unstoppable Hollywood Power right there!
A living, walking legend! The LAST one!A world treasure!Love that i live in a time with him!
After 7 decades of an amazing cinematic journey, Clint is cinema royalty and I'm sure in a decade or so Scott will portrait his old man in a biopic that would require zero make-up since the dude is the clone of his father.
👍👍💖💖
I love to see that!
Jamie dornan was in two mules for sister Sara 1970 with pancho Cordova bronagh Gallagher Rosa furman Pedro galvin Jose torvay Xavier Marc Xavier masse directed by don Siegel produced by Martin reckin music by Ennio morricone screenplay by budd boetticher
Clint Eastwood is my second favorite actor of all time after Sir Sean Connery.
I personally love the Good the Bad and Ugly as my all time favorite western.
I'm nearly fifty but that movie takes me back when I was twenty when I first seen it on vhs.
Hard to think of an actor who achieved more then Clint. Bonafide legend.
Not fair using Robin Williams, now i want to binge watch his movies again.
We need more wtf videos man. Consistency is good recently
He really doesn't get enough credit for his acting. He isn't a great actor but he is a highly effective one and unique. He employs minimal gestures to convey emotions and he does with the upmost sincerity. His performances in In The Line of Fire and Unforgiven were particularly great.
My top favorite Clint movies have got to be (in no specific order)
-Escape From Alcatraz
-Honkytonk Man
-Unforgiven
-A Perfect World
-Dirty Harry
-Hang ‘Em High
-Pale Rider
I'm proud to say I worked on The Mule. Eastwood had a great work ethic and a good sense of humor.
11:53, this was the first Clint Eastwood movie I saw on TV in 1995 on NBC. I was 5 when I watched it!
Awesome, and great timing with this one! I’ve been watching Clint movies all summer long. He is, and will always be, THE man!
My mom preferred Clint Eastwood over John Wayne. I like the Dollars Trilogy, Dirty Harry, Every Which Way You Can, and Paint Your Wagon.
These clips are great! I always love that I can find hidden gems that I never would have stumbled upon on my own. Have you considered including the full list of shows/movies you mention in the video description?
Love your content bro . Keep up the good work .
Yep, this man is a true legend! Anyway, are you gonna make "We remember" episodes about Vangelis and Ray Liotta? I'd love to watch!
I love Cry Macho. I thought it was beautiful and fun.
How can you cover Clint Eastwood's career without a single mention of the great director Don Siegel who directed Clint in "Coogan's Bluff", "Two Mules for Sister Sara", "The Beguiled", "Dirty Harry" and "Escape from Alcatraz"? Don Siegel is just as vital as Sergio Leone in making Eastwood the success he is. In fact Eastwood dedicated his masterpiece "Unforgiven" to Don and Sergio.
Everything you said is true, but the most amazing thing is that, as a filmmaker, he did it outside of the studio system. His production company, Malpaso Productions, is located in the Monterey Bay area and he only travels south to La-La land to pick up his awards.
Awesome video, guys!! Clint Eastwood is truly one of the greats
How can anyone ask such a question as WTF regarding this man?? He's had a long successful life full of iconic characters and some of the greatest films ever made. So I gotta ask you this one question - WTF is wrong with you?
Hey joblo just want to to throw it out there. Your music really makes your videos so much fun to watch. 👌
Good afternoon and thank-you SOOOO MUCH 💞
His son definitely tried to be the new thing but he really never caught on with ppl. 😭🤣
I loved Mule!❤
Absolute Legend! Always enjoy his movies! We used to watch 'where eagles dare' and 'the great escape' every christmas back in the 80's. Good times.
"In the year 2000." Great reference.
Great video. Watch it.
He brought ice cream back to Carmel. Guy ran mainly because they started to take away the cities tourism money, he came in, brought it back and rolled out.
Respectfully.
Things don't happen to Clint Eastwood, Clint Eastwood happens to THINGS. Particularly if you happen to be a chair. Punk. ☝️🤠👈
I loved the subtle nod to the iconic Conan skit "In the Year 2000".
The last Clint Eastwood movie I saw was Unforgiven. Such a masterpiece of a film. But I don’t blame him he seems like a really cool guy that’s feel immortal. He’s gonna live to 103 I bet.
Three letters, CBD. Apparently he’s making so much bank of his new CBD company he doesn’t even need to act anymore, but he still direct from time to time. One of the original actors that is still alive to this day, it’ll be truly a sad day when him and Tom Cruise are laid to rest.
Same
He’s also 90 plus.. gunna be a sad day when he unfortunately passes
@@bodacious117 Indeed.

what happened to him? he ain't happy, he's feeling glad, he got sunshine in a bag, he's useless but not for long and his future is coming on
I remember watching absolute power at my grandparents house when i was 12yrs old & it was one my favorite movies from the late 90s, i recently watched it about 2yrs ago & it still stands up but cus you know the twist it's a bit more slow paced the 2nd time viewing it but it's up their with movies like the patriot games, air force one, chain reaction, the long kiss goodnight, se7en, public enemy, the devils own, the devils advocate the fugitive, u.s marshals & demolition man, the sixth sense etc! not quite T2, shawshank or goodfellas but they are solid movies, Escape from Alcatraz is on netflix but ive not seen it for years, don't wanna watch it again.
Epic trip down memory lane ! Thanks m8 🙂
Saw the title and assumed it was a hit piece, but was very happy with your film. I'm goin on 73y/o and been a fan since "Rawhide" days, and to this day my favorite is "The Outlaw Josey Wales"
Well..from being one of the greatest superstars of all time ,he became one of the greatest directors of all and still active in his 90s !!!
He never needed to apologize for Paint Your Wagon it's a damn fine film.
You, friend, are an exceptional host/narrator/guide/speaker. VOX on.
Just the final scene and seeing and the look on his face in the movie for few dollars more made me fall in love with him.
Gotta love Clint.
What a great summary of a legend.
Clint should have the same badass rep as Chuck does.
I'm surprised Eastwood & Norris didn't do a movies together, great now I'm going be mubbling that in my old age like that movie (Old), "That movie, wasn't Eastwood acting along side Chuck Norris? What's that movie I swear they should be acting together."
Well Norris is a decade younger than Eastwood.
thank you Clint. Blessings be yours........Tom
Your videos are great!
Generally i'm not into Westerns but after your description of it i might check out Unforgiven. However Dirty Harry is one of my top 10 movies, i'm 42 and have loved it since i was 5. I also like all 4 Dirty Harry sequels, especially The Dead Pool. I also love The Gauntlet.
If you haven’t watched it by now PLEASE give it a shot. My dad tried to get me to watch that movie for like 12 years and I always turned him down. I finally watched it about 6 months ago and I was mad I didn’t watch it sooner.
How about a WTF Happened To Tommy Lee Jones?
I agree

Clint is a legend both as actor and director there be no body quite like him ever again
I've been waiting for this one
I had to go see The Mule simply to see who could possibly be badass enough to make Clint Eastwood afraid? I liked that movie. Can see why other people would not.
Its a shame he never played Jonah Hex. He is really the living embodiment of that character.
My head canon is that he is Jonah Hex everytime I watch "The Outlaw Josey Wales".
my favorite movie of all time It's for a few dollars more, although not very realistic for being a lot of show off, but it's a movie that take me to a magical place and introduce me a calm and fatal character. it's an honor to have access to a movie who has more than 57 years, and I I consider clint eastwood the most iconic man who ever lived.
Love your vids bro! Can you pls do a WTF on Dana Carvey?
Clint is pure Gold. Absolutely pure 100% 24 karat Gold.
There are so many of my favorite movies mentioned in this video that I am saturated with movielaria.
“…and their sister, Dot.”
That made me laugh.
Great video!!! This was almost as good as a Clint Eastwood film my man.
I grew up watching his cowboy and Dirty Harry movies with my dad. Now I enjoy all of his movies
To be perfectly honest; I'm one of the few people who actually LOVED Cry Macho, particularly for its message.
For quite a few years; society has grossly encouraged the belief that a "real man" is someone who's tough, strong, mean, fights like a champ and never shows signs of "weakness" in public (i.e. crying.) Thanks to that mindset; we've got men everywhere treating women like slaves, becoming aggressive meatheads, picking fights with anyone "weaker" than them and acting like shedding a single tear is something worthy of being punished for.
I'm a man and I have no shame in admitting that I am NOTHING like that and think anyone who DOES act like that...is a criminal in the making
If men weren't supposed to cry, we wouldn't have tears
And yet that was a film from a guy who called most young men today p-ssies, and he's right.
There are not many film makers like Clint Eastwood. Hollywood is less without him.
I have the Clint Eastwood collection. 35 movies hand selected by Clint. Only 3 westerns.
Honestly at the end of Gran Torino where he dies made me cry
He shouldn't care, we should be listening bc he is trying to show us how to keep the right way
Make my day!!
LEGEND
"The Outlaw Josey Wales," and "Heartbreak Ridge" are two of my all time favorite movies. Clint has the best one-liner movies ever.
after watching the 2022 pinocchio you really should consider doing one of these on Robert Zemeckis. thats a serious WTF happened !
I think going from 09’s Christmas Carol to now really adds to a WTF with Zemeckis. It’s kinda sad that the man behind the B2TF trilogy, Romancing the Stone, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, etc. has become a shadow of his former career
Respect, sir
