This will go down in history of what NOT to do as a CEO. Additionally, if she took her bonus and divided it out amongst all employees, they would have each gotten $1,875, and would have generated a TON of good will.

If that's your attitude, then you deserve a CEO like this. For starters, your paychecks don't keep coming if the company fails. Everyone should be on the same team with success in mind, just like a professional sports team. And the better you perform, the better your paycheck and bonuses will eventually be. People with your attitude will never advance and will just keep bouncing from job to job doing the bare minimum.

I used to work for a warehouse, getting freight ready to load trucks. We worked until completion and was told so when hired. About 3 months in, we lose a few people, shifts go from 9 hours to 10, which was fine at first since they told us they got more hires to cover the work.
3 more months go by, we are working 14-hour shifts, and there are no new hires. More people have left, and some of the ones that stayed are starting to call out and leave early. Can't blame them for how the situation was. But it was still frustrating.
Suddenly, we are working 16-18 hour shifts for about two months straight. We were lucky to get put after 14. But then, one week, it was just me and 3 others working. We worked anywhere between 17-20 hours. There would be times when we would just sleep in the break room so we could get back to work 3 hours later. That week, I had 93 hours on my paycheck, and I quickly quit after. No amount of money is worth torture and depression.
I spent one year of my life in that hell hole. Never again
