I worked for this company. They forced employees to work 12+ hour days, work on holidays, and didn't even get paid extra for the hours we worked. Zero Christmas bonus either. Employees who got hired on or came in through temp agencies, were basically lied to. People came in expecting X pay with X hours, and either were forced to work hours over and on holidays or be fired. Even parents who had children that needed picked up or cared for. MillerKnoll/Herman Miller/ Design Within Reach are the worst companies I have worked for. Extremely greedy

I got a business degree in college. I worked in business at some big companies! I realized when I went to work for one of the big 3 auto manufactures as a marketing rep we were totally not important. They fired more people than ever retired! After 6 years I quit. There was no longterm future. I found none of the business jobs I had had a future. The best job I ever had was with the US Government! It was a job nobody wanted. I worked up. They never lied to me. I retired with a pension, 401 K type annuity and SS. Non of the business jobs I had had a future. I loved my US Government job.
