A Timeline of the Historic Westside of Las Vegas

At one point in Las Vegas history, the Historic Westside was the only place in town African Americans could live and own businesses. The area was literally segregated from the rest of town by a physical divide, which was previously the railroad then later the interstate. The history of the Westside is Las Vegas history, and it is important that it isn’t left out when considering Las Vegas’s history as a whole.
