That is some BAD timing. Also, the basic combos don’t deal much damage. The XYY and YXXX combos and the purchasable combos are better. ESPECIALLY the ones that lift the enemy up into the air. Then, hit them with a purchasable arial combo. Lifting enemies into the air is a great way to deal extra damage, gain more score, AND stay out of reach of most of the other enemies.
Perfect beat? You're just spamming. It plays an audio track and shows a symbol if you were on beat. The game auto rhythms Chai's attacks if you just spam it. Try lying somewhere else.
