Laura, not sure if you'll see this, but I just wanted to say thank you to you and Aaron! I've been watching you about 6 years (I believe). You have taught me so much and made me look at my garden differently. I've learned if you don't love it, change it! I really appreciate your love of gardening, family and faith. After wakening up to 26 degrees this am, 3 inches snow yesterday covering tulips, lilacs to redbud & dogwood trees full of blooms we have one more night😣 of freezing temps!

Mornings always consist of devotion, letting the dog out, waking up the chickens and pigeons and cleaning up after the duck's nightly game of trashing her water (and the dog's, if she gets into his area LOL) and Garden Answer! Your greeting is as much music to my ears as my pigeons cooing when I come out to see them :)

Watching you pour and mix the spray I thought I would share an experience I just had at my mother-in-laws. This winter my father-in-law unexpectedly passed away. They are hobby farmers in Michigan and do spring spraying of fruit trees. A task that now falls to me in his stead. I am not sure if this is an old farmers trick, but I noticed that my Father-in-law did not remove the foil wrap that covers the opening of the bottle, but must have used a nail to pierce two holes in it. One the diameter of the nail and across on the foil a small pin hole so air flow allows the fluid to be squeezed out like a ketchup bottle. I was very impressed as this allowed me to measure the correct amount without splashing or accidently overpouring. Just a little hint for you I thought was very clever!

Y’all are having much nicer weather than we are here in Oklahoma. Had to cover my blueberries last night. We are 2 weeks passed our last frost date. 😬. Same thing happened last year, (only worse) and killed all my tomato and pepper seedlings. So this year I decided to wait till after May 1st. So glad I am.

I just spent a boatload of money at my garden center on Espoma products. I only went in for some perlite, I'm going to try rooting boxwood cuttings in it. The mother plant died a few seasons ago, but there were still some green branches at the base. I chatted with the clerk about Land & Sea compost when I got their last bag (I'm sure they'll get more, our season hasn't really started). I told her about Garden Answer channel. I don't think she's ever watched UA-cam videos let alone your excellent channel.
I also ordered a couple rocking chairs for my deck. So, yeah, I better cool it for awhile. Ooh, there's my doorbell. The roofer is here for an estimate. 😄

Hello from 6b Ohio and a few inches of snow 😒 my kitchen looks like a botanical garden luckily I didn't plant any annuals I've been collecting yet lol and brought them in. The perennials and tulips are another story -they're on their own. Always jealous of your weather! 🌞 🌬️

I LOVE the Ninebark, so big and red!! It will look gorgeous in that area, your flowering trees are glorious. The boxwood wedge looks complete now, great idea to finish that area.
Can't wait to see what annuals you plant with them.
