What a fun video! I appreciate you mentioning Aaron's giving the new tree a deep soak. I never know exactly how much deep soak a new shrub needs versus when I'm drowning the root system. A visual is always helpful. I think you set a great example to encourage Benjamin to try all different kinds of foods without your prefacing it with your opinion. Great mom! I laughed out loud when he shared with you and Nana so you could have a lick too!!!

Okay I had to come and mention a couple more things. That little spruce already producing cones! How sweet and makes me think it’s happy. Probably just it’s variety. I had a young spruce in my yard in Boise. It didn’t produce cones for several years and at least 10’ more growth.
Also, did anyone else notice the orange cat ears sticking up behind the making of the simple syrups? So cute, Russell! 😻
