I use the old food grade clear plastic pickle jars or clear soup takeout containers for individual prop boxes for my smaller Hoya cuttings, works fantastic. I also try to let the ends callus over before I propagate, I don’t believe I’ve lost any since I started doing that.
Very good video as usual, but here's a top tip to prevent rotting!!! Let the cutting callus over for a day or two to prevent rot😉 ..also, as long as the leaves that you removed still have their petioles attached they should also root perfectly👍👍👍

What are those white stuffs in the box? Pls

Don't tell the other plant channels, but I find your content the most useful 💯🍀😆
It’ll be our secret 😁

Hoya roots along the stem. You don’t need to remove those lower leaves. You could have more cuttings, so more plants if you didn’t
That's exactly what I did !
Tho it takes a lot of time to pop out a new leave ....
True😅😂
This is exactly the way I prop my hoyas. Love perlite prop boxes❤

Love this! Your Lisa is a beauty!
It’s really nice
Hoyas can root from anywhere on the internode not just from the nodes.
Thanks 🎉
Beautiful
Shouldn't say "Works every time" when one of those didn't make it. Lol
Haha true!
hi did u say 10 weeks to get a Hoya to grow roots>>? Seems like an awful long time, REALLY curious.... Thanks for the great video tho.SUBD!
Depends not your light and temperature etc. Might be shorter
great 👍
Most leaves will shoot roots too, although the development of the plant is a little slower
Is there any drainage holes in the box?
Perlite box? No
Plant them leaves with the stem intact. Bury the stem only. Abracadabra. You’ve got another plant. Thank me later. 👍
I have a broke tendril on my Hoya. Do I cut below or above the node because everywhere I read it says above and you just cut below 😩
I cut under because i propagated the cutting. Above is fine
@@SheffieldMadePlants Lovely thank you very much. Great video though ☺️
Will it grow back where the stem is cut off?
Yes a new stem will grow
Wow🙋♀️🙏👍❤🎉
Thanks for visiting
maybe try moss next time. it should only take a month to be fully rooted. no rooting hormone needed
