Jonathan Byers has a great music taste.
Saw them for the third time within 3 months two days ago. They are the best band in the world right now and class lads on top of that. Go and see them live if you ever get the chance.
Yeah, agreed. My first time seeing them, they were on a bill with Idles. This was several years ago. That is about as epic a lineup as you're going to see right there.

They are good, but the best noiserock/postpunk band of our times are Die Nerven. English speaking people are just not listening, because they don't sing in english... it's simple as that

I love that Irish expression ´that would be class’, a buddy of mine from Belfast who I played music with used to say that. Good band by the way, interesting picks too.

First album is there best .....I was at one of there first gigs in a small venue called mike the pies and they were support that night ...three albums since they are massive ...first album is still there best

Seeing them in oct in pittsburgh, Im SO excited. Did they play any stuff from their last two albums by any chance? (Skinty might be my new favorite though, each album seems to get better and be more diverse)
@@organizedmessoffical3838 yeah! They played televised mind, lucid dream, boys in the better land, a hero’s death etc.and their set wasn’t even that long because it was at a festival so if you see them in concert I’m sure they’ll play more songs other than the ones on skinty x

Really cool pickups and choices from these guys, get excited whenever I see Cowboy Junkies or Marty Robbins brought up. Beach Boys and Little Simz also great choices. Definitely gonna have to give these guys a listen.
Nobody talks about Townes Van Zant either, another really cool reference.

That Bill Withers- Live at Carnegie Hall is amazing. The track, World Keeps Going Around is so good.
Only other live album that comes close is Ray Charles 'Live' album
So natural and they love music. They are best band around these days and the most laid back and decent.

the guys with sunglasses is super cool. met a couple of time. and he got an incredible music taste! as soundcheck they play "revolution" by spacemen 3. and seeing him choosing broadcast, the french compilation (he should get the other 2 the same label released if he doesn't have them already), it proves again his great music taste. hope to meet him around soon. OUR DAY WILL COME!
For my money the best new band in the last ten years. Three killer albums in about three years and now Grian's solo album is out and also awesome!

I’d be just as surprised if someone pulled out a Tragically Hip record at Amoeba but they are a cultural phenomenon. This is more like seeing someone pull out a Lowest of the Low record

Surprised to hear Curley say he hated Country music until recently, a very naïve / surprising opinion for a musician from a band that has a clear country sound.
Most people don’t realise that country music isn’t the corny shit you hear on the radio, it’s the raw material written by people who actually lived the stuff they sing about.
It was maybe a hang up from where he's from in Ireland.We're subjected to a lot of Irish country music especially in rural Ireland which is 99% shit so that could be where his prejudice stemmed from
People are turned on to different genres at different times. It's not a big deal.
