There's a really good, at home, interview with him talking about his home studio. He was comfortable. Apparently, hes not always comfortable to do interviews. Matt Berry is an introvert. Such a contrast to the characters he's known for.

One of the great little pleasures ive had in everyday life , was my partner happily pointing out Lazlo was playing Matt Berry music on the Piano in an episode of What We Do In The Shadows. I think it may have been 'Take my hand' but if anyone is reading this, id recommend, The Small Hours, probably one of my favourite albums of all time.
I love his enthusiasm about not knowing what he is about to experience and just being thrilled to find out with stuff he has been recommended or learned about. I'm sure Matt and I have minimal crossover in music taste but the enthusiasm is relatable and invigorating.

I saw Matt berry on tour in 2000 and something and it was incredible, they did a cover of the Sorry theme tune and it was so god damn enjoyable.
Hot Rats was my first introduction to Zappa when I was 17 (that was 1991) and I've been hooked ever since!
