So sad this film didn't work at the box office. Last Night In Soho is a thriller not to be missed. We need directors like Edgar Wright. Absolutely brilliant film, just like this song.
Listening to this makes me feel like Im wandering in an unfamiliar place, longing, hoping, and wandering to find a new safe place. Yet, very magical. Is it just me, or her voice is very classical? Its like listening to a nostalgic old song.
I have listened to this too many times to count. It motivated me to go see the movie. The movie did not disappoint. Anya Taylor Joy is a generational talent.
Such a talented actress and a voice to match! An outstanding movie. A fantastic visual look into the darkside of Soho of the 60's. Great star appearances from Terence Stamp and Diana Rigg. But 60's icons themselves. We need more Directors like this!
I'm really pleased this great song and video featured the Thomasin line: "She said no!" Easily one of the best standalone moments of the film, and the connected Anya to Thomasin transition is absolutely beautiful.
I finally watched this movie. It's really good. I could NOT figure out what was happening until the end with the big reveal, which I did not see coming. Both of these ladies gave incredible performances.
When you're alone and life is making you lonely You can always go Downtown When you've got worries all the noise and the hurry Seems to help I know Downtown Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty How can you lose? The light's so much brighter there You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares So go downtown Things will be great when you're Downtown No finer place for sure Downtown Everything's waiting for you (downtown, downtown) Don't hang around and let your problems surround you There are movie shows Downtown Maybe you know some little places to go to Where they never close Downtown Just listen to the rhythm of a gentle bossa nova You'll be dancing with 'em too before the night is over Happy again The light's so much brighter there You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares So go downtown Where all the lights are bright Downtown Waiting for you tonight Downtown You're gonna be alright now (downtown) Downtown Downtown Downtown Downtown And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand To guide them along So maybe I'll see you there We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares So go downtown Things will be great when you're Downtown Don't wait a minute more Downtown Everything's waiting for you (downtown, downtown) Downtown (Downtown) Downtown (Downtown) Downtown (Downtown) Downtown (Downtown)
Last night I had a dream where a blonde girl just come into a theatre and start singing Downtown, then I wake up and I realized Anya Taylor Joy is now my girlfriend ! ABSOLUTELY CRAZY !

¡de eso se trata el personaje que interpreta en la película!
It sounds like a siren's song especially near the end
That’s also how i feel
Singing this 1965 song by Petula Clark is such a dream come true
You were unbeliveable in this!!!
Sony by Tony Hatch, you mean?
Wonderful Song
... Amazing..
Scoring a few touchdowns lately! This one included. Ya nailed it. *applause* ♥
Lmaooo this isn't even anya
love this but would've loved the chilly, suspenseful instruments in the trailer along with her vocals. such an epic rendition
Marianne Faithfull is better
This is hauntingly beautiful!!!

I knew she could sing, her acting voice is so beautiful, just like Eleanor Tomlinson’s voice.
I love Eleanor's singing, it feels so tender and genuine.
Her acting is to notch too.
She has the most perfect bone structure I’ve ever seen in a human being
From the first time I saw her I thought she had this exact 60/70s look

This song is my new Playlist to make me sleep. I was starting to listen every night since this song was released

She is an incredible talented young actress !!!!
That was mesmerizing. I just forgot of anything and listened the song. Wow
I am obsessed with her!!!!
Anya is spectacular.
When you're alone and life is making you lonely
You can always go
Downtown
When you've got worries all the noise and the hurry
Seems to help I know
Downtown
Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
How can you lose?
The light's so much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares
So go downtown
Things will be great when you're
Downtown
No finer place for sure
Downtown
Everything's waiting for you (downtown, downtown)
Don't hang around and let your problems surround you
There are movie shows
Downtown
Maybe you know some little places to go to
Where they never close
Downtown
Just listen to the rhythm of a gentle bossa nova
You'll be dancing with 'em too before the night is over
Happy again
The light's so much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares
So go downtown
Where all the lights are bright
Downtown
Waiting for you tonight
Downtown
You're gonna be alright now (downtown)
Downtown
Downtown
Downtown
Downtown
And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you
Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand
To guide them along
So maybe I'll see you there
We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares
So go downtown
Things will be great when you're
Downtown
Don't wait a minute more
Downtown
Everything's waiting for you (downtown, downtown)
Downtown
(Downtown)
Downtown
(Downtown)
Downtown
(Downtown)
Downtown
(Downtown)
I saw the movie and it was amazing
Anya is just incredible😍😍💗
The voice keeps hearing inside my mind all the time!! . No one could've have sang this song. Anya may taylor😇😇

Something about the way she said "She said NO!"
3:03...yessss
What a beautiful song!
It just makes me more excited about the movie.
**MILD SPOILER**
T. Mackenzie's guy in this movie is the true MVP
Me encanta como actriz y tb ahora cantando. Abrazos desde Argentina!!!❤️🥰
Love this movie
I love this song
Amazing
Love this film 😁
Una artista completa
nooo esa piba tiene mucho flow!!
As an American, that's the most Brittish "It's...closed" I've ever heard. More Brittish than Emma Watson.

Movie beautifull 🥇 ❤️
Is there anything she can’t do.
Her voice just bought me to 60’s like the girl in Soho
Comeone Elli i know you can save Sandy! 💃
This film will probably be the kind that gets a small cult following
Tonally, she sounds a lot like Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Great version.
It's got some Lana del Ray vibe
"This is the girl"
Excelent choice
1.25x speed, u welcome
my wife lol
