Sanding sealer is a bit like a primer before painting, a wax finish is greatly improved if you use a sealer first. However you can’t use a sealer before an oil based finish. Hope that helps. 👍
I'm always amazed at how beautiful the construction pine becomes when it's turned into a part of one of your bowls. This one is great with the veneer and plywood! Happy New Year! 🎉
Now that's just showing off....beautifully.
Thank you very much 🙂👍
That piece turned out really nice. Pine has a unique beauty all its own.
Absolutely. Thanks for watching
Very nice for scrap wood
Thank you very much 👍
Love the look of the veneer with the plywood
Veneer has almost tripled in price over the last year, so I don't use it as much as I would like to.
@@RDMWoodturning maybe some offcuts from ebay?
HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎈Here’s hoping 2024 is healthy and successful 🌞
Thank you. Happy New Year to you too 🙂
Very pretty work
Thank you! 😊
I love watching your work. I can never get pine to look as nice as you do without stabilizing first. It always looks good though.
Thank you! Very much appreciated!
Thanks😘
You're welcome 😊
That's really nice.❤❤🎉🎉😊
Thank you! 😊
Wow no tear out ... Super work budy.
Thank you so much 😀
Nice Piece and interesting process. Full View and Like 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I like the color contrast!
Thank you very much. For a scrap bowl, it has an awful lot going on! 👍
I like it a lot! I was thinking another piece of ply might make a better balance, but this piece is fabulous as it is. Well done.
I was in two minds about a third piece. I just couldn't get a third piece from the same scrap board. Thanks for watching 👍
Very nice, but my OCD kicked in when you put your emblem in, and it didn't line up.
I totally understand. I like to add a little chaos in now and then!🙂👍
Nice sir have a great weekend ✌️
Thanks, you too!
❤
Thank you 👍❤🙂
