Hey man I just wanna say thank you for the guides - I just got my first inferno cape after a year of attempts on and off, and I have to say that I just always kept coming back to this first video and remembering you saying "You can do this." The inferno is such an insane challenge to your mental fortitude perseverance. I'll never forget how i felt when i beat it, and it's in-part thanks to you that i got there.
After 35 attempts over 3 months, I finally got my infernal cape without justi! Went back on task right away and got a second kc. This guide carried me through from start to finish. Thanks Xzact!
Some tips as a nub still learning this: If you're trying to learn this video without ever stepping foot in the inferno... just stop and go throw in some attempts. A lot of the concepts and explanations in the video won't make sense or stick out until you actually do it. Take it one step at a time - You will not complete the inferno on your first try. Make it a goal to get a wave further than last time, or make it further with more potions than last time. Take frequent breaks - Every 10 or 20 waves, click the logout button to pause the next wave then logout and take a break. If you find yourself getting flustered and overwhelmed (especially on the later waves) this will help clear your mind. Get the practice in - The inferno is entirely skill based and you won't complete it unless you put in the work!
I just got all the gear i need on my ironman to do inferno, ive started the grind but honestly i feel like id be better off getting to wave 4 and really mastering the blob before going for high kc. what you think
Don't limit yourself like that. If you're ready for the inferno on an iron then you'll get the blobs down easy. Like the original comment said put in the practice and you'll get far
FYI, the "phantom healing" effect no longer works with autocasting, after an update. You need to manually cast blood barrage now on the "death" cast for the phantom heal.
IMPORTANT: At 24:37, if the range and mage are swapped for that spawn, they will only be off by 1 tick, NOT 2. It’s because the mager is a 4x4 and the ranger is a 3x3 sized monster.
Just nailed a spawn like 26:19. It’s so satisfying when you keep everything in the 2 tick cycle. You’re literally invincible haha. Anyone watching this thinking “I can’t do this” - you can. Keep at it. Learning these techniques is so worth it.
About ~15 attempts so far and I'm up to wave 55. So difficult but really starting to get the hang of dealing with different mobs together. Thanks for the guide, I'm not giving up till i get it!
so funny... ur guide is the first inferno guide ive ever seen, then after checking other inferno guides , i just come back to this one, my record is wave 56 for now and wil not give up until i have this amazing cape! thank u for everything.
Finally deciding to learn inferno after having watched this guide like 5 times along with countless others. In my second ever attempt, I made it to wave 57. These guides are invaluable in learning the inferno. Learning all the different methods for solving waves, 1t flicking, dealing with stacks, all these things I would have never learned if not for these guides. I remember the first time I watched this everything seemed so foreign. My first watch through I tried to figure out how you would solve these waves and I was way off every time lol. So many things I didn't think about, like what if the melee digs, what if the nibblers don't die, what if the mager respawns X, etc. But now that I have some experience, I feel like even some of these 'Hard' spawns are stuff I would recognize how to deal with pretty quickly. For example at 24:39, I probably would've just ran into the meleer and gotten into a melee blob flick, gunned down the melee, and then killed the mager. If the meleer respawned I would've just cut back, done some more melee blob flicking again if needed, killed the melee again, and finish off the mager. Obviously the melee blob flick isn't perfect and probably ill advised on a 1def account, but at 99 def and in good gear you're more than fine. This allows you to leave the blob for last as well on the south side of the pillar to phantom barrage it for a bunch of HP, plus being able to barrage the ranger if needed. If the nibblers didn't die in one hit I think this wave would cause me some trouble, but again once the melee is dead and I'm free to stand north I think I would be able to finish them off, but I might have to tank a ranged hit or two since I haven't learned 2t flicking yet. These are things I would've never even dreamed of thinking about not too long ago, so thank you for these guides, they are incredibly helpful.
Ty Gween I would HIGHLY recommend using an Ethernet cable while doing the inferno. Much more stable connection. Even if your internet has occasional spikes, triple jads is where you will 100% die if you don’t have a stable connection.
I think your examples are really instructive. You've basically turned the inferno into a science, and it's like I'm doing the problems at the back of the textbook!
This video is my saving grace. Doing it on a maxed 75 att 1 def pure, and I have 30 or more attemps in so far. Definitely had my "where tf can I safely buy a cape" moments but everytime I fall back to this video I get the drive to keep going. Not there yet but thank you a lot for the video.
I love the optimism at the end, I’ve gotten to 60 twice and I just can’t handle all the stuff and off ticking and such. At least I can say I tried really hard though lol
I only play RuneScape and the next Elder God Wars Front was Teased Yesterday, it's most likely this Zuk Guy from the Inferno. So here i am looking at the fight mechanics to see if it's close to the Fight Caves/Fight Kiln. Great Guide and Analysis!

Just got my first cape. To anyone who is struggling, here's what I'll say... Take ALL advice with a grain of salt. People told me 8 brews was too many... I got my first cape using 10 brews, and it turned out to be exactly the right number to make it to the end. People told me not to use Justiciar or Bulwark, or else it's "Not a real cape." Point is, find what works for you, ignore the stuff that doesn't. Also, don't give up. It took me 92 attempts, and 17 Zuk fights, but I got it. "Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts." -Winston Churchill
I encountered a situation on wave 65 that I thought is worth mentioning. 2 rangers in front of a mager at the pillar. You have to do the step out double back method, but know that you will tank one shot from the first ranger that sees you. Then, the other two will be off ticked, and you can snipe the mager or pipe the ranger. It's the only way to handle the situation that I could think of. Hope this helps someone else!
Thanks for the guide! It surely helped me understand some things a bit better, ofc not every single little thing is menthoned here, in the end a person must learn The Inferno the hard way. But also it covered some of the most important things (otherwise the video-guide would've been like 2 hours long). In total took me around 48 attempts to do the Inferno, around 7-8 Zuk attempts (I did around 15 attempts with really bad gear and lower levels than normal, I didn't get too far with it, w/o those around 33 attempts). Surely the inferno is very difficult but not impossible!
Just wanna say this guide got me the cape today! The blobs in particular were the real bottleneck for me for quite a bit. Running south often also helped me a lot its hard for me to pray flick both the mager and ranger unless im prepared for it. Was stuck on < wave 30 for a pretty long time. Thanks for the guide man
Got my cape after months of attempts its do-able just know it takes time it is a grind and can be done without tbow. Flicking is something you will need to know to complete this that is just my personal opinion from my attempts and completing my cape.
I remember the day this came out. I had my range setup with an sgs and a guthans switch. Just waiting for the update. I was gonna have the cape by the end of the afternoon
here i was all worried about fighting triple jad... after watching this i'm not sure i can even fight a blob and a ranger xD really well put together video though!
Just a tip to all new players coming here to learn inferno. Watch 25x inferno with acb/tbow. Do some attempts at inferno. Then come back to watch this. This is sort of more advanced and will not really get you prepared for inferno, but it has a lot of neat tricks on how to solve waves as you get to know how to do things. 25x vids were really great for me because you can see wave by wave and he takes time to explain everything while if youre gonna get anything out of this you gotta have atleast a few attempts at inferno. Never the less, I came back here after a few tries. Current PB is 52 and i just forgot how to deal with mage/range stack.Hopefully cape before new years. Also less known fact, if you can get past wave 31 you can probably beat the whole thing. 31 is one of the hardest waves. Range melee and 2 blobs. When you get passed that theres not really anything stopping you from getting passed all the others.
Waves 60-64 are the hardest. For waves up to 60, if you know what you’re doing, you can handle any spawn using the north pillar and take only 1-2 hits off prayer. 60-64, if the spawn is bad, you’re going to take a lot of potential damage
this would actually be enjoyable to learn if you dont have an hour time loss everytime you mess up. It just makes the fun parts stresful and takes away the enjoability
Yeah and now imagine dying to lag on like wave 65 lol 2 hours down the drain. The inferno is truly the hardest PvM challenge just because the stress of the time it takes to progress
@@EastCoastJerkStyle I actually achieved my 1st cape last Monday and i would probably agree with this now. At the time of writing i was at a brick wall of not being able to get past wave 48 and was rather triggered.
He doesn't mention it but at 11:46 he shows where you can safely attack the nibblers without exposing yourself to south monsters. I just noticed this while watching! So handy!
Blobs are my weakness, I'm determined to get my cape, but the blobs are consistently the vein of my existence. I usually die when there 2 with the mager.

First of all, amazing guide. Insanely useful for all levels, as people can watch each section as they get to it. Few things I am still struggling with in my attempts with the waves: 1. When using the south pillar, is it possible to offtick range/mage? I tried the same method but they seemed to be the same tick every time I tried from that pillar. 2. Is there a 0 damage solution to bat/bat/range/mage stack? 3. Does it matter where in the stack the blob is located, if say you have range/mage/blob is the solution the same as blob/mage/range?
@@EliasOwnage95 Appreciate the reply I thought i was going crazy it totally works not sure what I was doing wrong before lol everything on the southern pillar is an exact mirror image of the northeastern pillar (i think). A useful tool to understand how offticking this way works is with a line of sight tool I found here henke96.github.io/Lineofsight/ Basically using that tool you can understand how offticking works this way. You'll notice if you have range/mage stack for example the mage in the back will see you inbetween the middle tile and the corner tile, while the ranger will only see you once you get to the corner tile. So if anyone is curious that's how I figure out what can/can't be offticked I guess, fun to play around with.
Doing it on my zerker now too. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, sub to my channel. I’ll be making a guide for low defense accounts soon, which will include methods to deal with really hard spawns that he doesn’t show in this vid
Not to mention if you lag even a little bit it's impossible to do the inferno. Every single tick counts. I like a challenge but the inferno is kind of ridiculous. They could at least make the blob minions a little less accurate. I can't kill a blob without taking SOME damage... which is absolute horse shit. The mini blob ranger hits me even through +412 ranged defense and it's fucking stupid. The bats are way too fucking accurate too. Like goddamn Jagex.
If you want to save prayer when you have blob, mager then ranger stack, you can do what xzact says, them barrage the blob then go back behind pillar. With blob stuck u can then bring mager next to blob, then bring ranger back over behind blob so u can kill mage separately with a lazy flick
im going nuts over this shit.. waves with range+ mager + blobs i just cant do them. how the hell are people such gods to be able to prayerflick like that.. ive spend over 20 hours trying the inferno and i never got past wave 58.. i just gave up at that point. i will never achieve the infernal cape =)
Practice. Don't get discouraged. If you give up and admit you'll never complete it, you're right, you won't. You can also practice flicking any time with runelite & the metronome plugin to get the rhythm.
Idk if you still read the comments on this vid but THANK YOU! In just 6 attempts in total of which 2 zuks I managed to get the infernal cape thanks to your guide! Indeed anyone can do this! I can’t even one tick flick and pulled it off. For everyone thinking about getting the cape id say Go for it!! You can do it with this masterpiece of a guide!
I’m like 30 attempts in and I can’t get the timing down to flick the mage and ranger.. it’s so frustrating every time I get them stacked I die. I’ve watched the guide and the timing doesn’t work for me. I’m never getting this cape. Guess I’ll be wearing a fire cape for eternity….

@@EastCoastJerkStyle I actually achieved my 1st cape last Monday and i would probably agree with this now. At the time of writing i was at a brick wall of not being able to get past wave 48 and was rather triggered.
@@jordanbill3303 Big congrats, Amigo. Very proud of you. Glad you stuck with it and overcame the difficulty!
@@EastCoastJerkStyle Thanks brother, happy gaming :)
17:33 this and the blob in front of ranger/mage always confuses me. Definitely going to try this next run!
Really good guide, I like how you show some different spawns and how to solve them
Thanks for the guide dude. Doing my runs now.
Jesse L did u get it
Best guide ever. Got my cape because of this. Thanks man.
The word you're looking for is 'bane', not vein.
Blob waves are the most difficult. I think wave 31 is one of the most common waves to die at (ranger 2 blobs melee).
Best guide out there simple and easy to understand, thank you!!
This is the best inferno guide on youtube! Thanks brother
wave 56 (easy): I put on my justicar and run to the south pillar

did that actually work? lol
Is this valid?
@@0h11 it is, but its a gay way
eksdee meme of it works, it’s not a gay way.;)
Mr xzact we are proud on u. Awesome how u show ur cinfidence while doing this. Hopefully ill get the cape to. Ty very much for the vid!
you are a blessing to the runescape community
Great job man, and thank you so much for creating this.
First of all, amazing guide. Insanely useful for all levels, as people can watch each section as they get to it.
Few things I am still struggling with in my attempts with the waves:
1. Yes its possible, stand in the middle square and attack the monster in the back otherwise it wont work
@@EliasOwnage95 Appreciate the reply I thought i was going crazy it totally works not sure what I was doing wrong before lol everything on the southern pillar is an exact mirror image of the northeastern pillar (i think). A useful tool to understand how offticking this way works is with a line of sight tool I found here henke96.github.io/Lineofsight/
Basically using that tool you can understand how offticking works this way. You'll notice if you have range/mage stack for example the mage in the back will see you inbetween the middle tile and the corner tile, while the ranger will only see you once you get to the corner tile.
So if anyone is curious that's how I figure out what can/can't be offticked I guess, fun to play around with.
Amazing guide, wish i was as good at prayer flicking as you are hahah. Doing it on my zerker rn, wish me luck!
Doing it on my zerker now too. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, sub to my channel. I’ll be making a guide for low defense accounts soon, which will include methods to deal with really hard spawns that he doesn’t show in this vid
Dope guide still relevant I got wave 56 on 5kc will let you know when I get my cape!
Did Jagex expect players to be able to do this when they released it?
Nope. Thays why the first 3 players to complete it get lifetime membership and other rewards.
I have a feeling they knew Woox would be able to do it
Not to mention if you lag even a little bit it's impossible to do the inferno.
Hey thanks for vid! Very helpful

You’re a boss brother thanks for this, really helped me for my first cape
Beautiful guide, well done.
This looks scary and I might have to do this someday.
Awesome guide man!
Great video! Amazingly clear and concise!
im going nuts over this shit.. waves with range+ mager + blobs i just cant do them. how the hell are people such gods to be able to prayerflick like that.. ive spend over 20 hours trying the inferno and i never got past wave 58.. i just gave up at that point. i will never achieve the infernal cape =)
Practice. Don't get discouraged. If you give up and admit you'll never complete it, you're right, you won't. You can also practice flicking any time with runelite & the metronome plugin to get the rhythm.
I try to solve the ways in my mind and dude the easy do I get the mediums mostly and no hards ty for the proper guide
Started doing the inferno I’m slowly getting farther thank you
DID YOU GET IT
Did you get it??
Good job man you really are a sick player
Nicely done 👌
after this im convinced 80% of capes out there are bought
90%^
Idk if you still read the comments on this vid but THANK YOU! In just 6 attempts in total of which 2 zuks I managed to get the infernal cape thanks to your guide! Indeed anyone can do this! I can’t even one tick flick and pulled it off. For everyone thinking about getting the cape id say Go for it!! You can do it with this masterpiece of a guide!
thanks i got inferno cape because of you
what a guide!!! beautiful work 🙏
now this is a good guide
great guide, around 5:30 you show the monsters avatar range. is this something u added to the video or is a setting i can turn on?

I am currently learning. Got to wave 50 so far. Hopefully this guide will help me do it.
I’m like 30 attempts in and I can’t get the timing down to flick the mage and ranger.. it’s so frustrating every time I get them stacked I die. I’ve watched the guide and the timing doesn’t work for me. I’m never getting this cape. Guess I’ll be wearing a fire cape for eternity….
give aanty a try, hes got multiple attempts were he give full commentary on wave solutions and explains what to do and why
Yeah I’ve seen a couple of his vids, made it to wave 55 4 times and died every time… so sad just can’t get in the right rhythm
@@Tanklesss nah, you got this bro
give it a couple attempts and try to learn as much as possible and you'll get it down!
Appreciate it man I’ll keep trying
I just started my inferno grind and man its going to be a long journey, keep grinding boys it comes down to how bad do you want it.
Commenting here that I'm starting inferno grind
Wave 51 seems to be my glass ceiling.
UPDATE: 16 attempts. Current PB is wave 59.
Update!
