i feel like when you made this guide you go so tired of some people not knowing how to properly do olm and made this very depth guide you explain everything really well
Bro i cant thank you enough for this, i finally get it lol. I swear all the other guides over complicate it so much but the visuals you made make it so much easier to understand! Thanks again!
Was an excellent guide, but just had to shot out how much I loved the "dont have to like or subscribe because I really dont ive a shit" haha best guide ever.
please make more guides, this was amazing and really helped me understand way more easily than a lot of the guides out there, thanks so much, definitely saved and thumbed up
This is an excellent video for learning how olm works even if you don't necessarily feel comfortable skipping yet. Great pictures to help understand too.
This was really helpful! I haven't seen any other guides explain why you run the head or why turning left or right matters. You explained the rotation in a way that's really easy to understand and it makes a lot of sense now!
I know im 2 years late. but this was my ah ha moment. I would always get fucked up when things got out of sync or wrong set but I now understand tank the auto and then go over. thanks!
I’m late af but your video is the awesome. I have 100 Kc and my cc is really pushing me to learn this but they suck at explain it lol. I have to re watch a couple of times but I feel more confident now. Thank you!
This video taught me what I needed to know. Thanks for the help, advice, guide, all the above. You’re a gamer sir, and you’re turning a lot of us into gamers as well. Thank you for that.
Yea I was sooo lost I finally realized the red was the safe zone then it all makes sense but all around good guide appreciate you sharing your knowledge
Melee skip: stand on thumb and attack while the head is melee set. If hit 0 on first hit run to pinky, otherwise run to mage side right as he hits you. Mage skip: if mage set, step on middle tile to tank hit to dodge flame walls, then to melee side.
@Khufu So does Olm always do his special attack in the same direction as the basic which comes before it? Or always in the next direction? Trying to learn to duo skip
@@KhufuhK I'd say show for example the normal attack without skipping and another one skipping it so we can "see it". At the end we can understand tho, I didn' know this was how it worked so im happy i got to found your video! thank you very much
Actually no those have always been in the fight. They aren't phase specific, they just come in place of his regular attacks. I can't believe I didn't include them and also can't believe you're the first to mention it
really liked this video, although honestly... I didn't when you were doing the pic changing... i think that was mainly because you didn't explain it clearly that "attack ----> special" was essentially one attack and is done on the head facing direction.. when you was first explaining this i thought Olm's special was a separate move entirely after the head switch. e.g. "(head moves) Attack (head moves) ---> special (head moves) attack ---> nothing .... this got cleared up very quickly when you were showing the clips towards the end of the video tho, and made the middle section understandable..
No, sorry. There is a pattern you can run to get all your hits in that is bound to be on UA-cam somewhere. Otherwise if you just turn walk on, go to the pinky, then run to get the skip in you can avoid damage but miss out on your hits
perfect guide, thanks a ton. just got 3 man dhcb in my name at 38 kc yday =] best part of the guide btw: "you don'thave to like or subscribe cuz i don't really give a shit" lol
when ur transfering the specials to the other zone ( incase some1 doesnt know how to skip) , in ur example u moved away from safe zone when special was about to occur so an auto would occur instead..however the runner was still there in the attackable zone, why didnt the special occur then...caus u said the logic behing skipping specials is to have no1 available on that side when special is about to occur, but runner was available :s
It did! The lighting happened right after that attack. Another option in that scenario is I could have just stood on the mage side and facetanked an auto before continuing to run. I the only reason I left the attackable zone was so that I didn't get hit by an auto.
Not sure if you've ever been into olm but special attacks only happen when the melee hand is alive and each one has its own symbol which appears on top of the melee hand. I put that there because that's where the indicator is in game
i feel like when you made this guide you go so tired of some people not knowing how to properly do olm and made this very depth guide you explain everything really well
LOL pretty much! Whenever a teammate would say they didn't know how to skip I could go "wow you didn't watch my video man? wtf?"
Bro i cant thank you enough for this, i finally get it lol. I swear all the other guides over complicate it so much but the visuals you made make it so much easier to understand! Thanks again!
Been a long time since I've played the game but I'm super glad this information is still relevant and helpful
this was actually the most useful guide for me out of all the ones ive watched so far
I agree! Best skipping guide I've seen yet. Solid breakdown sir.
Watching this after no less than 10 other skip guides but this was the one that made it all click. Thank you!
Love to hear that, thanks

I liked and subscribed just because of that comment haha

Wow thanks man. Can't think of anything else that I know well and doesn't already have a guide though
4 years out. I still found this useful.
This is a great guide you speak concise and not too fast. Very easy to understand and great ruler analogy
Just started with duos - this is by far the best guide I've seen on this. Thank you so much!
This is an excellent video for learning how olm works even if you don't necessarily feel comfortable skipping yet. Great pictures to help understand too.
this makes lucid's guide look like poopy doo doo, good job
best guide on skipping, easy AF to understand

Been looking for a guide on this for soo long bro, waaaay easier to understand than other guides good job man
hands down most insightful guide so far
loved it. the graphical explanation was just amazing. thanks! ♥️
By far the best skipping guide, thanks man
Kept trying to find a good guide on this and they were all garbage! This was so well done thank you very much!!!
Best Olm guide for sure, thanks!
Jezus, it finally made sense. I watched 10 guides. You didn't fill half the video with useless shit either
I've watched a couple of guides on the topic but your video was the "ooooooooooooh" moment where it all clicked together, thank you! Great tutorial.

I've never hit sub button so fast after you said you don't care. Very refreshing hearing that! hahaha
Great guide, helped me a lot. Although i agree you passed over how to fix it when you fuck it up kinda quick, but re-watching it i think i got it!
very coherent guide i learned how to skip but this puts alot into perspective
worth a bookmark best way explained for me thanks brother

Great guide
Awesome! Been learning olm and I think this will help my positioning alot.
Amazing video most user friendly one I could find!
Amazing guide!!
Great job sir, thank you!!
Amazing ending
Putting the "safe area" highlighted in red is REALLY counterintuitive
Yeah sorry about that, there are a few things like that I've noticed or have been pointed out that I'd have done differently if realized earlier

So does Olm always do his special attack in the same direction as the basic which comes before it? Or always in the next direction? Trying to learn to duo skip
Yep! The special attack will always use the same attackable zone as the basic attack directly before it
goat! great reference for all raiders
Bro that was a super good guide and the ending made me laugh LOL
amazing. subbed. thank you
Super cool that people are still finding this video!
great guide dude! really helpful
thank you, this makes sense to me. now my friends wont be laughing at me :D
Very good
Solid guide dude
This vid is perfect. Other guides are like "you move right then left and thats how you run the head smiley-face"
really good video
great man thanks. i found this great
Is anyone else extremely confused? I’m sure it’s a great video so no disrespect to the producer
What part don't you understand?

Why skip specials though? The auto attacks do more damaage
Special attacks interrupt the flow of the fight and will make your kills slower if you don't skip them
when ur transfering the specials to the other zone ( incase some1 doesnt know how to skip) , in ur example u moved away from safe zone when special was about to occur so an auto would occur instead..however the runner was still there in the attackable zone, why didnt the special occur then...caus u said the logic behing skipping specials is to have no1 available on that side when special is about to occur, but runner was available :s

Nice, this is helpful as fuck
is this useful in solos?
Understanding Olm's attack cycles is important, but the head movements and skipping methods in this video aren't what you'd use in solos
descent man
Do you still play? You have a discord?
I'm a little burnt atm, but you can find me in Gear, Lyzrds, and Overload. Those are the biggest ones I'm in
that the fuck khufu why didnt you ever tell me you made this? i could use this command in my chat!!!!!!!!!
can you skip specs in duos
Yep, you won't have a runner and you will be using the mage skip method. The melee hand person will ignore their hand and long-range the mage hand

Super cool that people are still finding this video!
your guide is really confusing because you put the specials on the melee hand when explaining that it happens on mage side.
Not sure if you've ever been into olm but special attacks only happen when the melee hand is alive and each one has its own symbol which appears on top of the melee hand. I put that there because that's where the indicator is in game
