- I told myself that I wouldn’t watch any more new Scooby-Doo movies for a myriad of reasons. But I saw this one had Maxwell Atoms working on it so I had to check it out. But how good Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! Find out in this nice convenient video placed nice and snug above the description

Honestly, I can buy the fact that the Scooby Gang lives in the same universe as Batman (they have done crossovers before). But doesn't that make Velma even more bone-headed since Zatanna, Doctor Fate, John Constantine, and a whole bunch of other DC characters use magic? Honestly, I kind of wish they'd gone all out with the pumpkins and made them creations of Poison Ivy (wouldn't be the first time she poisoned pumpkins).

Loved the movie because it handled really well the eternal debate of supernatural stuff vs fake monsters and gave Velma some character development. And the Scarecrow is still out there along with the sheriff so they might return in a future movie.

I sure hope so, the good doctor was the best part of this movie.
I'm sorry, no. I have to disagree. This movie is part of the three movie trilogy that utterly destroyed Velma's character. You want to know what she did before when there was evidence of the Supernatural, she accepted it and moved on. Now, it seemed like 13 ghosts would be going in that direction, but not only did it not do that, it had Velma, my second favorite character, single handedly DESTROY my favorite scooby show by leaving even the proposal up in the air that it was all fake. Then return to zombie island came out. I don't have to explain this one at all. And then this movie completely solidified Velma from a very logical, smart, and cool person to a "mUh sCIeNcE" piece of sh*t. And now Bill Nye is dead to me because he contributed to this. I hated him for a couple of years now. Now, he means nothing to me. This movie was just another "science rules" piece of sh*t that, along with the other two movies, tried to remove the supernatural completely from the scooby doo universe.

Yeah... I do agree, I wish that the movie would have played with its ridiculous concept even more and I do agree that Scare Crow is the best part of this movie... Other than that, it's still miles better than Return To Zombie Island
This movie is an awesome crazy ride! So much fun, and you can't not love how well the Scarecrow fits in. They totally nailed the Halloween vibe. Best Scooby-Doo movie since Brave in the Bold for sure, and easy in the top 10 for me. I hate that it's not on Blu-Ray tho.
I thought personally that this movie was pretty good WAY BETTER than Scoob for starters and I do like how while the clues were spread out through the movie they worked pretty well and having the scarecrow in this movie was Awesome, the movie was pretty funny, Bill Nye had some funny moments, I also really like Velmas character arc in the movie as well, Plus the references and tributesto the franchise put a smile on my face.The sheriff twist I don't really know how to feel about but at least it was surprising. I do agree that they're on the highway a little too long and yeah the mystery like I said is good but they only have like two clues at the beginning and the rest are found through Velmas "Mind Palace" near the end. Overall though I really like it and out of this and the other three Scooby movies this one is the best!

The fact that they brought in Scarecrow is neat enough.
Well in that courage meets Scooby Doo crossover they didn't try finding a scientific reason for all the monsters in nowhere so it looks like their going back to real monsters in Scooby Doo
You can tell they REALLY wanted us to like this movie.
They just throw in anything good or interesting but doing that doesn’t always make a great movie.
They threw in monster pumpkins, a Batman villain, Bill Nye, a twist villain who’s been in other films, and Elvira. Granted, Elvira is awesome and putting her in something Scooby Foo was good, but repeating doesn’t make it better, and she really should’ve been in Guess Who
I loved that they finally ended Velmas Story Arc about not being able to be scared i begann to like her again in this movie awso that those Movies are now connect is crazy
i wonder if the king arthur film is connected
;Trick or Treat, Scooby Doo' is a little more 'kiddie' than I'd prefer, but, I'd say it is worth a watch, as well; with a return to classic days; involving a prison break of a swarm of criminals they captured in the original series; Space Kook, Miner 49er, and so on.
Hopefully this means now Velma won't act this way about the supernatural
so she finally admits why she feels the need to be right

@@amitysluzara2022 someone told me that the halloween film was the last one of a trilogy but i doubt it if the films keep referencing past events it'll feel like mystery incorperted which is my favorite scooby show

This is defiantly the best out of the 3 movies with the Sheriff, some things don't make sense and could have been better but overall its a pretty enjoyable movie, I love Elvira and Bill being in it and loved the fact so much of it takes place on the highway in that chase scene, its differeant and not something you see very often.
Plus scarecrow is voice by mad Murdock from the A-team I’m gonna buy this movie
This Movie is okay to me. The thing I like is Velma's arc because to me this Movie felt like it was trying to make Velma a character then just a joke like in RTZI! Sure i'm more of a fan of Velma being skepticism more of her mystery experience then a flaw she has,But this movie did it well. In my eyes Velma skepticism in this movie is more just comes from in my eyes her being cocky. It's obvious that Mystery Inc has a very good taic record with solving mystery and that can give any the members a cocky edge,Velma was just that one member that let it get to her. Because she's cocky it lets her show an unhumble side,It could make her not see what's the difference between real and fake. She can't tell if the supernatural is real or not do to the cockyness and her and friends winning the mysteries all the time. That's a good reason unlike in RTZI or Return of 13 Ghost were Velma reasons is because she the smart girl stereotype.
I think the car chase was a refence to Scooby doo and the reluctant werewolf as shaggy and Scooby was in cars for a while
Don't forget about some of the cool Easter Eggs & References to Harley Quinn, DYnomutt & Blue-Falcon, The Flintstones and Frankenstein Jr. & The Impossibles.

I enjoyed the movie as well.
Daphine was ANNOYING A.F though but besides that a good Halloween scooby doo movie .
Think the guy who voiced the pumpkin head at the beginning also voiced jack pumpkin from Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Oh I didn't know that it was the same voice actor. I did like how it reminded me of the billy and mandy pumpkin villain tho

This movie was all right, but I have two big complaints with it.
It was really, really silly. Far too silly for any coherent movie. Daphne's role in the movie was being a creep and make sure she is annoying, the new machine Bill Nye gives them-for no reason, I may add- was able to do anything it wanted, there was the flying seat, the villain's plan was somehow even more stupid than most Scooby Doo villains' plans, a random family was brought along for no real reason and literally nothing made sense. I like silly fun and I expected silly fun when watching this movie. But even silly movies need some coherency. This movie had too little of it and became a real mess.
Most of the movie was spent on that road. It was ridiculous just how long they were driving on that road. It forced the movie to force feed you clues in the few moments they had for exposition and it got quite boring quickly.
It wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't great either. At least it was still a million times better than Scoob.

Is anyone else bothered that it took 28 movies and 30 years for Elvira to show up in Scooby Doo?
Yeah, the ending didn’t really make sense cuz if they were robots, we should’ve seen robot parts come out of the pumpkins when they squashed them

It's about at that level yea. I feel like all of her lines were some form of a joke
While the setting is Crystal Cove, Daphne's Be Cool personality is here again...for the better.

Was there any romance between Fred and Daphne in this movie? Since the setting is Crystal Cove I would they would be a couple.
Not really. They may have been a couple but it wasn't really touched on. Now that I think about it, there wasn't much in the way of the relationship between the gang other than Velma with the rest
I wish Batman, Billy and Mandy was in this movie.
It would've made the movie WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY better than ever.

man, I really don't like the direction the scooby doo makers have taken. It's the same animation and universe as scooby-doo abracadabradoo and scooby-doo campscare, which were really good so I can't understand what went wrong. I don't like that they made Fred such an idiot! I understand that on the "mystery inc" series it worked because he was a much better written character. But now he's a complete clown, and you can't feel any connection with him. The same problem is with daphne. Instead of giving her some interesting character traits like they used to be, they make her an ADHD freak. Paradoxically, I have the smallest problem with Velma. Because she is the only one of the unfortunate three who still has some character. I really hate her skepticism about everything but it's better than nothing. Seriously, I would like the scooby doo movies to get back on track. That they would stop being such cheap adventure games. The detective puzzle itself is a good adventure so let the detective brigade stop flying into space (I hate this movie in space). Sry for my bad eng.
