I didn't know if it would work, but I gave it a try anyway. I guess even old fools like me get lucky every now and then.

While I was crawling up on that turkey, it seemed unreal that I actually got the shot.

Fantastic hunt, beautiful stalk, stayed low, moved slow. Congratulations on a successful season. Not often you can ease in on one like that. Persistence paid off on your first one, stealth won the day this time. Great video!!!!

Good morning Wayne. I hope you can get your gobbler this season. If I lived closer to you, I think we would have a great time hunting together. Maybe one day when I can expand my video making efforts. Right now time is the issue.

I haven’t been able to to harvest one yet, I wasn’t able to pull one in close Monday morning but I’m going back to the woods this Tuesday and hope to get one. Thanks for letting us share in two more great Turkey hunts and God Bless you and your Family

Another great hunt Tom. It’s hard to sneak up on a tom, but it can be done as you proved today. I’ve done it a few times myself. Well we both have tagged out and I guess we will wait for deer season. Congratulations buddy on a great season.

I had a feeling after we created the video- "Breathing New Life into Vintage Friction Calls" that the two of us would do well. I would also venture to say that the turkey population is making a comeback, (at least here). Congratulations to you as well Doug. I really cherish our friendship.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I'm glad you took us along with you on your hunt! That is a nice bird by any standards! Any wild bird over 20lbs is something special, I understand you're a modest and humble man, but that was a great hunt you made it happen since He wasn't coming to you. That was a good call stalking him the last little bit, I don't think He was coming over the hill anytime soon! You'll have a good story to tell your grandson and video to show him! It's too bad you can't take more Turkey but they were endangered some time ago so it's great they're back now. Now I just need to get out so I'm not just watching! Thanks again for sharing with us! Be safe and take care!

That was a great video Tom. Good times. Your 11-87 got another long beard! Do you have a Wingmaster? I know you're a Remington man. Maybe you could do some videos on the good old Wingmaster shotguns?

You must have a crystal ball or something. I am currently trying to put a video together featuring my 20 ga. 1100, my 1187, and an old model 58 Sportsman. I am currently looking for a Wing master in 20 gauge, so if I get my hands on one I'll feature it too. Thanks for the encouragement, and your comments.
