Up and coming composers have it so good: this free Shreddage instrument blows everything that was around 5-10 years ago out of the water. ISW were already the best sampled guitar makers, now y'all went "This isn't even my final form!" There are some really fantastic alternatives, but all of them at one point or another sound robotic, especially at high speeds, shreddage always sounds natural.
This is OUTSTANDING. Also, I love that you used OCR tunes as the demo tracks... That's just fantastic. Listening to some of your work is what encouraged me to get into digital production/writing, and what made me decide to grab FL Studio. Now I use FL a ton, even when mastering tracks from my studio.
I really wanted to play around with this but already spent so many thousands of dollars on plugins over the past few months that I couldn't push myself to throw more money at it (plus I'm an actual guitarist and can shred just fine), so this is almost TOO convenient! Much luv to you guys for this, it sounds fantastic!

This is great for making rhythm guitar parts, I'm already working on a track that uses it! Unfotunatly I'm broke so I cant afford the full version of Kontakt, but it works fine in a clone of kontakt that I found called "Kontakt portable".
It ain’t a clone and legally it’s piracy, but I have a feeling that ni doesn’t make money from kontakt anyways and more or less rely on developers paying for licenses

I try to simulate a funky rhythm like the Shaft TV theme of the 70s. Therefor I wanted to use the Cry Wah pedal dynamically to create the wah-wah effect but I didn't manage to control the pedal with automation. How can I do that or in general control programmatically effect parameters of units in the console? Or isnt't this available in the free version?
Dear Zirconst. Please make a complete acoustic guitar with finger picking. I can not find any fingerstyle facoustic guitar library in the market that realistic enough for me, and I'm still wating for it. I think that you can do it very well with your current great sampling technique :)
Thx for this tutorial. I have just setup my Shreddage 3 Free but my interface does not look like yours. I do not have a performance tab. I have checked for updates but it says I have the latest one. Ideas?
I'm using Shreddage 3 on Reaper and for some reason, when I play back what I wrote, every note after the first one is just the hammer pull articulation, even if I try and set up the keyswitches to change between sustained and muted. Moreover, the MIDI guitar setup doesn't work. Anything playing in any channel other than channel 1 just doesn't play at all. Can someone give me guidance please? Thanks.

That's an issue with Native Instruments Kontakt Player. The free version of Shreddage 3 only works with Kontakt. With Kontakt Player, it only works for a 15 minute window. This is because of how licensing works with Native Instruments and 3rd party content creators.
why ? legato, hammer on et pull off and 12 frets have been removed making this free library perfect for trying it, but not using it (until you don't know how a guitar sound); if you feel "cheated", maybe this library was not for you. if you only need sustain or power chords on the first basic frets, you maybe bought the wrong instrument ! But you don't have to feel cheated, it's just great to test, but not to use, there is too much important things missing to feel that way.

@@sancho316 we're more close to 10%. i don't know how you play "guitar" on keyboard, but for sure, for myself (check my account on the tunes from michael landau and Steve Vai (i use an another library), if i don't have legato, and hammer on et pull off, and missing the last 12 frets (all my solos are done there lol), it's impossible to use. it's ok to test, hear the sound for doing power chords, and hearing some stuff in alternate picking, and judging the library. for that it's an amazing and beautiful gift, because there is too few developers who accept to release a free version like that for demo purpose, if only more of them would do it, i'm pretty sure they'll sell much more. The lack of "trial" in the sound design / sampling / Vsti world is a nightmare.
1/10. I havent seen any programme that was as buggy as SHREDDAGE. DO NOT BUY FOLKS. DO NOT BUY. The Keyswitch Engine is a joke and incredibly buggy. . I am shocked how bad this is. I spent like 20 hours trying to fix this thing but no use. Like I said, DO NOT BUY.
Carl Shelley At the very end of the video the guy says it will function as a 15 minute demo with player, you need the full Kontakt to use it for real, a limitation imposed by Native Instruments not Impact Sound Works...

So you have to have kontakt, cause with kontakt player there is a 15 min demo. All you have to do is put it into kontakt and load the .nki file

Dr Nothing needs to be installed. Use the full Kontakt sampler from NI (not the player) and open the .nki file. That’s it.
