Making a warmer workshop 🛠️👍😊 Costs below
This video is how I made removable panels to insulate my garage door, the door will still open with these panels installed which means I can remove just one if need be
Hopefully my garage will be a little bit warmer and they seem to cut down the road noise from outside
The cost of this project was approximately £150
Kingspan insulation £49 £98
Hardboard £15.50 £31
Handles £4 pair £8
Plus some screws, tape and paint
Genius solution for a roller door, that'll make it much more comfy in there
Thanks James, It was bloody freezing in there at Christmas 🔧👍😁
Great idea nice and warm and quiet great video thanks for sharing your time 🍺🍺👍
Thank you very much Brian for always leaving a comment to my videos!
Another fine improvement to your new shop! :)
Thanks Mate, plenty more to do.... 🛠👍😊
Fantastic job!
Thanks Lyndon, I'm very happy with this one 🛠️👍😊
Well that’s an idea I’m going to steal.. 😃👍
Help yourself Loz, it was bloody freezing in there over Christmas 🔨👍😁
Also I put a bit of a price guide in the description, from Wickses and the handles from screwfix
OMG ❤ Double doors!!! Dubmledoor
It's 'just' a single door, more warm door than Dumbledoor 🥃 👍 😊
@Everythings Adjustable ... sincere apologies.. I may be a little bit drunk k!
My videos are more entertaining after a few drinks ☕👍😊
Everything is .....polishable. Great job!
Polishing is adjusting! 😁😁 Thanks
@@Everythings_Adjustable ...so true...so true.... Which reminds me, I need to adjust my garage floor....Only at the moment I can't find it.
😁 It's surprising how much easier it is to clean up after its painted and plastic boxes are a lot easier to slide around now
@@Everythings_Adjustable not only that...but in the deep winter, when you carry a few plastic boxes out to the automobile, late on a Saturday evening, the neighbors will think
"That Adjustable, he is always working, he never rests, the poor fellow".
Little do they know, that you are driving to that great big hill, blanketed in snow with you plastic sleds!
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals (plastic boxes filled with dead girlfriend parts) 🤔🙄😁
Lovely jubbly 👍🏻🛠️
Thanks Mate, Nice and warm now 🛠👍😊
Nice 😎 coming along fantastic mate...
Steve
Thanks Steve, I'm very happy with it all so far and hopefully some interesting stuff on the way.

I'm a bit disappointed the insulation doesn't work without removing it from the door 🤪 I have a roll up door I'll probably replace with an insulated sectional because I don't want to remove big insulation panels everytime I enter
I needed a roll up door because of where the side door is. I guess you car guys use your main door a lot more than me, I only open mine a few times a year, I think Neil sent you over Thanks for dropping by xephael 🥃 👍 😊
Nice workshop you have there
Thanks Mate, I have been planing this for a long time
🛠👍😊
@@Everythings_Adjustable I've got to get back into doing videos again been a long time not doing them
Videoing really slows you down making anything! ( But sometimes it's good for me, I need to not rush in to things head on )
Wonder if you could get some square pipe or conduit you could slice length wise to protect the bottom 🤔.. going to be nice having insulation, good timing aswel summer is on it's way (hopefully) 😂
I thought about something along the bottom but I think it's only going to get removed a few times a year.... but you have me thinking about square PVC gutter..... or 50mm plastic trunking 👍😁
@@Everythings_Adjustable 👍👍
@@Everythings_Adjustable maybe guttering fall pipe 🤔 either way looking awesome buddy 😎
Also I have a rain seal to add along the bottom of the door if it stays dry here 👍😉
