Disappointing game for England, they definitely played better and I think if they played 10 times, they would have won 9. But Scotland followed through on their goal scoring opportunities and got a little lucky with the England fumbles so it's a fair win.
The final turnover the scot was, for me, not supportign his own weight. Good win for Scotland but man that was frustrating live. Could have rescued a draw with a kick at the end.
His knees never touched the player nor the ground, I just watched it at 0.25x speed... The only part that did touch the ground was his hands, but it was for literallt a quarter of a second if that, not long enough to support his body weight thats for sure. That was probably the most clear cut jackal of the entire game, England definitely got a way with a couple of questionable ones thats for sure
100%. When I watched it in real time i thought it was suspicious. Watching this he is clearly straight down to his elbows. Youngs knew it too and was clearly telling the ref. Idk why the tmo doesn’t check something that could change the outcome of the game like that
@@ShanleH How you escaped giving away a penalty in the last 60 seconds is beyond. Graham entered the tackle situation from the side, went past the ball which is why his arm hit the ground - 2 penalties there. Then he scooped it back (fairly I believe) and Watson jumped on it (also fairly), at which point your #20 sealed off over the top of Watson, with his knee clearly on the ground before the first English player arrived (another penalty). In the meantime, Graham had gotten back to his feet and run between the English players and the Watson pile up, blocking an English player (Nowells?) in the process. Another penalty. Any one of those could have ended this game in a draw. Now before you start accusing me of bias, as some of your countrymen have done, please note that I am a South African who was actually routing for you in the game. And as my Boks have lost 3 close games to Australia, All Blacks and England by giving away late penalties, I can assure you that it does not help to say that the opponents got away with a couple, no referee will reverse a decision on that nor is it an excuse. You were lucky this time, next time you might not be.
yes just wait for the latest welsh red card to win a game we know all about the welsh cheating from Ireland, England, and Scotland its annual event watching the welsh cheating..
I forced myself to watch the whole game.....I had just watched Scotland v England from 1990. This match seemed to have more "movement" and better camera angles and brighter colors, but the "sameness" of play that passed for "action" bores me. There seems to be a lot more mayhem, but maybe I'm just shaped by media making much of physicality and ads for "biggest hits in rugby", all that sort of crap. This and other matches from the modern era have required me to find the latest Laws book and decide that I've lost capacity for English....ie "immediately" has undergone a redefinition as has the phrase "must be bound to a member of his team or the opposition "simultaneously" to joining ruck or maul". Of course, that doesn't happen. Indeed, if a players arms are free to peel another player off the ruck/maul, he can't be bound....nor can he if he's able to clean out an opposing member from the ruck/maul 5 yds removed from the ruck/maul. And yet, these features are common to current play.....to say nothing of the ball being introduced in a ruck to one's own second row (I know...that's now allowed. WHY?) Defense doesn't even join the so-called ruck...and why would they if there's no chance at the ball which is being held on the ground and players who ARE NOT SUPPORTING their own weight are at their feet and they can't step on them nor over them. UGH! Much preferred was the match from the 1990's. I played rugby in Europe and US for 19 years and if this was the spectacle provided me back in the day, I'd not have been the least interested. I can't see why anyone currently playing even at the lower levels can be interested in beginning. One feature of amateurism was that the breadth of the Laws allowed for smaller quicker sides to be at equal advantage through tactical maneuvers ie swing the scrum to negate heavier pack, drive over the tackled player who had to release (not place) the ball "immediately" so speed was an advantage......Not so any longer. Looks like American football without the padding, and that's not a compliment.
@Nicole Mick Am trading with expert Philip McCarthy, a regulated broker in the US. Met him sometime early last year at a startup funding event. He had some interesting things to say about the state of algorithmic trading today.very obviously I'm seeing the results
@Alice Spencer I have seen a lot of recommendation about Philip McCarthy, Please how do i get in touch with Mr Philip McCarthy? I would love to trade £15,000 with him
I wouldn't argue with what you're saying but I have to say your tight five and depth might be found wanting. Loved the performance and hope they beat some big sides this year. They certainly have the talent and skills.
Having a finals team is one thing, having a squad that can win 7 games in 4 weeks is something completely different. It is not a coincidence that every RWC winning team has had depth in the squad that allowed them to rotate players in the "weaker" games. Scotland will never do well at a RWC until they have a lot more than 2 professional sides, and they stop filling those teams with foreigners.
OMG England are just a shit team to support and watch we have the largest playing poo, largest budget, best coaches, what are we lacking ..........seems skill!!!
What is the consenus on the penalty try at 10.00 (Match time 65.30). When I slowed it down I could see no punch to touch. A lot would have had to have gone right for the Scot to catch the ball. This far from the uprights I thought the English were hard done by.
Firstly it was knocked on. Not a charge-down, it was a clear knock-on into touch, which you're not allowed to do at the best of times. Darcy Graham was clearly about to catch the ball, you can see from his position he was exactly placed to catch it and he's a world class winger ready to catch an easy ball. Had Cowan-Dickie not been there, Graham would have run it over for a try without question. The ref needs to consider if it would be a try if LCD had not been there and it would have been/
As far as intentional knock ons and penalty tries go this is about a straight forward a decision as you may be faced with. How any person could watch that play and conclude the ball was not deliberately knocked forward is staggering.
@@ThymeTwister In addition it really doesn't matter that the ball went into touch. The infringement was intentional knock on. If say he had knocked the ball backwards but intentionally into touch then the outcome would have been the same no doubt but a different infringement.

@@valsables5299 unless you have arguably a much better game management 10 on the bench to close out the last 20. Smith is amazing, but Ford has been outstanding for his club this year. As a Scot, I was very surprised he wasn't in the original squad.
Aahhgg Guys ! The rugby's now something of the past but those Edinburgh Bordellos linger on in memory. Scottish lasses !!!!
@@valsables5299 what? Do you know, that made zero sense.
I thought England played well, Scotland were just better.
Disappointing game for England, they definitely played better and I think if they played 10 times, they would have won 9. But Scotland followed through on their goal scoring opportunities and got a little lucky with the England fumbles so it's a fair win.
Daly an ford shouldnt be on the bench.
Where is Farrel? Lol
Away learning how to speak in a language we all understand. Hahaha
Idk why the tmo doesn’t check something that could change the outcome of the game like that
@@george6531 i am not sure if you are blind or stupid I’m not going to lie 😂
@@george6531 Because he is not allowed to. There is a protocol in place and the TMO's role is clearly defined in terms of that protocol.
France Wales and Ireland will beat Scotland
The welsh boys will sort scotland oot on saturday
yes just wait for the latest welsh red card to win a game we know all about the welsh cheating from Ireland, England, and Scotland its annual event watching the welsh cheating..
Hehehe
Here we go the Scots hype train is on! Lol
It's called being proud. Away n do some Morris dancing

@Alice Spencer I have seen a lot of recommendation about Philip McCarthy, Please how do i get in touch with Mr Philip McCarthy? I would love to trade £15,000 with him

I'm from Australia 🇦🇺, I and my cousin gave him a try and it has been good returns of our investment, Thanks Expert Philip McCarthy
why dont Scotland carry this kind of form into worldcups, this is a finals team ryt here.
I wouldn't argue with what you're saying but I have to say your tight five and depth might be found wanting. Loved the performance and hope they beat some big sides this year. They certainly have the talent and skills.
they did in 2015 and 2019 i just think japans year was 2019 and we were simply the team that had to lose to then for the fairytale story
Come on Scotland
😢😢😢
Sorry I should have said the English commentary, boo hoo
OMG England are just a shit team to support and watch we have the largest playing poo, largest budget, best coaches, what are we lacking ..........seems skill!!!
What is the consenus on the penalty try at 10.00 (Match time 65.30). When I slowed it down I could see no punch to touch. A lot would have had to have gone right for the Scot to catch the ball. This far from the uprights I thought the English were hard done by.
Try reading the laws of the game ! I'm sure you will change your mind.
He didn’t punch the ball he slapped it out to touch denying a try scoring chance a winger going for the ball in the air vrs a hooker you do the maths
Have to say as a irish supporter the penalty try was very harsh
Come on really? He makes not attempt to catch the ball and if he’s not there than a try is scored
