- While living in my 4x4 Chevy Express, I continue to build it out! I work on the bed, shelving, electrical, and receive a special package from Lynac.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how hard all this is.
He is building out a van from scratch while living in it at a Home Depot parking lot during the winter. All the while he is setting up a camera and recording every small detail for the Internet.

Doing all of this work in parking lots. During winter. While recording the progress. You sir, are my personal hero. All of the work I have done to my truck I have had the luxury of a full pull in shop and tools. Awesome work sir!

I painted my floor with gray porch paint and every dusty footprint showed up 😖 i ended up putting sheet of vinyl

For some reason, I find Foresty Forest videos more entertaining than most TV shows nowadays.
For a couple of years now I hardly watch any TV at all anymore. UA-cam provides me with way more content that I actually find interesting than TV does
Yup. Notice when his drill stopped working? 2 seconds later the problem was fixed. If this were TV, that would be 10 mins of material, with a commercial break and a recap!

Actually, you don't have to swap the fuse - Just put another fuse at the battery - Make the fuse at the battery 5 A higher than the heater. Fuse at the battery blows, cable problem - Fuse at the heater blows, heater problem.
I might have said swap, but i didn't actually swap them 🙂 both fuses are still in place.

Foresty Forest, he builds in a van.
If you paint (seal) one side of wood, even plywood, and not the other, they will warp over time because they will expand and contract unevenly from one side to the other. This is the number one reason why I see peoples homemade cabinets fail, they paint the outside but not the inside.
Great tip.
Not so true when latex base paint is used. It doesn't form much of a vapour seal, compared to oil-base
My solution: don’t paint either side.

Finger holes are always helpful when you want a flush way to lift a panel or pull a drawer.
Helpful when scrubbing your meat with a baby wipe too 🤣🤣🤣

We are OTR truck drivers, the curtains in big trucks are black out and insulated. You might look and a big truck dealership for good heavy & quality curtains
I was living in my van for few months almost 30 years ago and I love my old van.
That battery can double as a counter top.

I can not tell you how much I am appreciating your videos on this building, this is the REAL way I would like to build out a van - doing it the way you are doing it is so much how I would want to do it, a bit at a time, while living in it. I would recommend rounding the corner of that storage cabinet, then pad it. It will hurt to it in the middle of the night or tripping over something. On the wiring loom up to the battery, I would strongly recommend putting a grommet where it passes thru the firewall. That plastic loom wrap will offer zero protection. The sharp edge will rip thru the insulation and short out the harness.

Classic Canada post. Marking packages delivered even though they are still on the truck. Indicating there was a missed delivery attempt and you need to go pick up your package at the post office, even though they never even tried to deliver the package.
