Future Wars is the game that got me addicted to point & click adventures and I still love them now, especially the Broken Sword series and Monkey Island games! 😊

Loved DELPHINE software and have much nostalgic memories from playing these on AMIGA back in the day!

At home , my brother and I had Flashback for the Megadrive. We loved how it looks, the music, the sounds and how smoothly everything moves but we never passed beyond the first level. I think this is the perfect opportunity to try to beat it.
As usual, an excellent video, thanks!

Great review! I'm a new Evercade EXP owner and I've enjoyed going through your videos. About video games based on soap operas, I remember DataSoft having released the game Dallas which was based on that uber popular prime time soap. Personally, I was a fan of Dynasty as a kid and never watched Dallas.

Thanks! I like the way it turned out even though I wasted a day on it because I didn't like the footage I originally recorded for it.

Stuart Ashen (ashens) had a presentation on the dark side of the moon logic in adventure games (available on UA-cam). Operation Stealth was included there, twice, and that corridor of yours is very much like one of the examples in the video. I'm not very much looking forward to trying to finish these adventure games, even though I was hoping for finally try out Future Wars myself.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm subbed to Ashens but must of missed it for some reason. I watched it earlier today and yes, Operation Stealth is in there twice, but the examples he gave didn't have to do with that hallway, they had to do with the elastic band in the seaweed and the inflatable bracelet which I didn't mention specifically but falls into that category of "The game lets you proceed without important items you need to complete the game." I would have made a bigger deal about the elastic band specifically, but I kind of didn't want to spoil too much about the end of the game.

The Amiga version of Flashback also had the exploit of walking through walls. The entire last level can just be skipped by walking through one door.

That's pretty interesting it can happen on multiple platforms. I only found out about it for the Genesis version because it specifically singles out that platform on the cheats page for the game on GameFAQs.

Solid video sir! I enjoyed these games as a kid, I only got to play them at my friends houses.
Taking your time to study and play thru the game (or most of the game) to decide what's good and not so good. That's the way I play all games.
It appears there's Jedi in Future Wars, LOL
Illegal instruction! nice trick in Flashback

The funny thing is that I sometimes spend more time playing games I don't like just to make sure I don't like them, lol. And the trick in Flashback is actually listed on GameFAQs. That's how I found out about it.

A videogame based on a soap opera? Now there's an idea.

Those based on Eastenders and Neighbours weren't any good, I hear...
