AH LMAO broo that Astra has m32 gearbox whine, my Astra J 1.4t has exactly that whine in higher gears. Such a great car but GM decided to put a miserable gearbox in it, the feeling of it is nice but it's not reliable at all.
Man you re wrong, That version of M32 here the same as in Astra H OPC it's strengthened, about gear ratios they make that for better acceleration. In 1,4T you have to reduce gear in evry time when you want to fast overtake. In city at 4 you should drive over 70km/h to have good elastic. In 1,6T 170-200hp at 4 you have 2000 rpm at 60km/h, even you can drive on 4 a ten kilometers less.
Not at all. I have this model for 12 years and 190k Km. Never any issues. As I writing this I’m making 700Km tour in Germany and Austria and I still love this car.
