    I'd love to see a wrist strap release comparison breakdown on adjustability, tension, travel, length, position of trigger to jaw, the common things you bring up. Love the content and learning all the details from you.

    I would really like to see some more "how to" videos. I'm really trying to teach myself how to work on my v3x. Bought a press from you and used your video to change the strings and cables. Got it all timed good, but I'm very interested in learning some different tuning practices. Great stuff!

Man if I could win one of these ten bows I will just feel like I winner being able to come out and learn from you while your settin me up lol I mean it's a possibility I'll keep hopen

    There's two screws with springs and one for travel on the opposite side of the release. It's just as good as anything on the market

    I think the trigger itself can be set in two ways where the curve is either into the finger or away from it. There should be some screws on the side that you can unscrew and flip the trigger around and it should provide a more forward feel as you mention in the beginning of the video.

    I seen in a recent video that you liked the Carter Back-strap. Well, that being the case, you would love the Carter 2 Shot! They’re almost identical profiles to each other. I’ve started using the Back-strap as a practice tool just recently and shooting 3-D with my 2-Shot. There has been a great improvement lately in my shot execution.
    The 2-Shot is an inexpensive tried and true platform that has been around for decades.
    Give it a try and give us some feedback on your thoughts.
    I already have mine but would love to hear yours!

    Buddy I’ve heard you talk a lot about how you really like Bowtech. Im surprised to see you wearing so many Hoyt shirts. Not that they are a bad company. Im just surprised I’m seeing it so much. Lol. Great video as always. I enjoy shooting a thunb release but I’ve had shoulder surgery which causes pain because of how a thumb release is held at the anchor point. Trigger releases isn’t my favorite but seems to be best for my shoulder.

    Looks dang near identical in style and function to the T.R.U. Ball Execution. I've got one and it's a sweet trigger release. Very comparable in function to the Carter Like Mike and Like Mike II as well. Would be interested in comparing the S2 to the Execution side by side.

    Scott talon, single sear, comes with two different springs, adjusts from light to heavy-heavy. $100 Wish the post was shorter, ( I also have larger hands, so it should be designed shorter), otherwise its great

    • @jordanpowell228
      @jordanpowell228 Рік тому +1

      I have both and the execute. The are all so close to each other but the execute feels like a heavy duty piece of gear because it's made from brass and it came with multiple springs where the execution did not. One thing josh messed here was confusing the TWO tension adjustment screws with one of them being for travel. The s2 has a travel adjustment and two springs for tension. It helps to read instructions even when you own a proshop

    • @tylersweeney22
      @tylersweeney22 Рік тому

      @Jordan Powell agreed, saw a UA-cam video about the wiseguy (not from josh) and he said there wasn't any adjustments at all. Like yes there is I have one.
      I was going to order the execute but couldn't find anyone that had one in stock at the time I ordered the execution. Was think of the verge but the reviews where all over the place, some said they loved others said it was a pos and broke. And didn't want to spend 140$ to find out. Have you tried the Scott verge by chance

    • @jordanpowell228
      @jordanpowell228 Рік тому +1

      @Sparky513 I haven't tried the verge but coincidentally enough was considering it recently but ended up buying the scott longhorn hex I believe is what it's called. It's essentially the same thing but more closely resembles a hinge. My only complaint about it is the amount of tension required for it to fall off the moon and fire when the amount of travel is increased is pretty substantial. If that isn't the case with the verge I would like a lot.

    Stan used to offer a sear and a half mechanism in the xtinction (discontinued). They were also going to release the strike x last year, but for some reason it never came to market. Any thoughts on why it made it to ATA, but was canned for production? Keep up the great content!

    • @jordanpowell228
      @jordanpowell228 Рік тому

      That passed me off. Lancaster took orders for them and the whole nine. I know there were some people that had issues with the xtinction which probably had a lot in common with the strike x. Never seen an explanation though

    • @sinepari9160
      @sinepari9160 Рік тому

      @@jordanpowell228 People had issues with the stan xtinction due to the reverse hook. If you don't draw your bow straight back the hook can/will slide off the dloop. I've been using the xtinction for years and never had an issue because I'm aware of the fact if I pull at an angle it can slide off. You just have to be cognizant of it. Other than that, it's a FANTASTIC release and my favorites amongst the 5 or so I rotate. I'm as accurate and repeatable with it as my hinge and thumb types. I mainly do all my practice with the same release I hunt with but switch up in the offseason to try new things. I'll have to research that strike x.

However I bought the spot Hogg wise guy and it’s the best decision I ever made my wife has been using hers for years and I ended up copying her lol I hunt az so spot and stalk no tree stands and real fast paced shots when they come so I prefer a wrist strap and I don’t like the “ tension” style I like a trigger I can calmly pull through

      No. The spot Hogg is a single sear design meaning the amount of tension to make it fire will vary by the poundage of bow you shoot. Think of this as a mini hand held thumb button, they operate the same way
