People are hung up on a grain or two...I'm a custom knife maker, there are thing that happen when sharping or machineing etc...a grain or two is not going to make a different in groping with a 100 grain feild point etc.....splitting hairs
From my understanding, the 2 grain difference is to offset the drag on the broadhead vs your 100gr field points. Thus causing the broadhead and field point to group together.
Yeah Josh explained this before they were released that they needed to be a little light in order to group exactly like the field point which I have tested out to 105yd and they are dead on. Everyone would be upset if the package said 98 or 99gns so makes sense to say what they are grouping with and there is no one that will shoot a difference of 1-2gns on total arrow weight
Fixed blades won't fail and you don't have to check the screws everytime you hunt to make sure they open. If you take a little time with them they will fly with your fieldpoints. I see no advantage at all to shooting mechanicals
yes. finger and thumb for the protectors. also, Josh showed how you can close with bare fingers if you just push on the very end of the blades because that spot isnt sharp
I love the Rage Chisel tip 2 blade broadhead. I’ve been using them for years on my crossbow and never had any issues . I’m thinking about using them on my vertical bow this year.
97 of 100.....tie a few wraps dental floss around male end where it plugs in to shaft. Or..... Get tiny piece of tape cut to evenly wrap around end of shaft below BH......no problem
If the 2 grains was intentional as others have stated...that means they have absolutely AMAZING QC. If aiming for 98 grains and nailing 98 grains that is fantastic. I know there are a bunch of mechanicals that could get within 3-4 of each other...but nailing each is crazy. Also, POI at 40 yards as long as within 10grains is negligible.
Tooth of the arrow broadheads are great, they are a fixed blade 4 blade and you can resharpen them. I have shot them out of my scorpyd deathstalker, swat x1, and hoping to shoot out of my tp 505. Another good head that is tough as hell!! Tru glo 4 blade titanium x broadheads. My 505 loves them out to 60.
@@indianheadtrailoutdoors4281 What the other guy said was FACTS. That's the way they were intended to to be closed, finger and thumb. I'm sure you realize and have got them closed now
60 bucks for 2... might as well go for a good single bevel at that point... I just use the black out gators.. and they make a massive entry and exit hole.. I'll admit I'm cheap.. but if I'm spending 60 bucks.. then I'm going straight single bevel
I just can’t see that amount of money. There are many videos proving a two ,three or four blade fixed will perform perfectly at 100 yards. It’s a matter of getting the equipment tuned together. Considering the amount of $ we spend just to get in our hunting spot why would anyone take a CHANCE on a mechanical failure is beyond me. If I were given these heads I would not use them on anything other than a pig or coyote. I don’t care if I recover either of those animals. In over 50+ years of bow hunting I have only used fixed blade heads of various designs with excellent recovery numbers. Also, I don’t and haven’t taken shots that did not feel right and mostly all were 30 yards or less. No mechanical failures, lol.
Simple engineering 🤣 you have no idea wtf your talking about. You make me in your barn I'll give you $500 a peice that you make that are of the same quality, tell ya what I'll give you $1000 per. I'll wait 😂

He literally makes a video explaining they are 2 grains lighter than 100 to account for the drag on the blades they are ballistics matched to field points, also you pinch the blades together with your finger and thumb it’s not rocket science!
You are better off wt a Rage hypodermic no collar. I have seen this over priced broadhead fail on so many UA-cam channels. That 3 days ago josh bowmar made a video to try and show it off.
You can spend less than that and get fixed and just replace blades... or get single bevels and resharpen them and shoot the same heads for years. I blows me away you chose the only crap slick trick!! They make a BUNCH of awesome fixed heads and you choose that one. Throw that mech shit in the trash and buy you a couple packs of slick trick mags or standards and move on smartly!!!!!
The title is click bait. I love these broadheads. I truly think they are the best mechanical on the market right now. I paid my money for them. I'm not sponsored by them. And iv already killed a white tail with one this season.
I was soooooo happy with my "LAST YEAR" equipment -> so I bought new equipment.. This is why not many people in the world like america, and you know it.. btw your shooting is not good enough to recognize 2 grn difference.. WTF grain? Did you know, other CONTINENTS do not even use grain? YOU tell us you have different arrow-flight cause of 0,0647989 gramm.. LOL stop it..
Sorry horrible review. Please do the study/research on the broadhead first before recording and uploading your video. Also, they give you a practice tip, so why use the actual hunting heads. Again, sorry but not a good video. Just my opinion. I'll look elsewhere for reviews from now on. Good luck with your channel.

I use fixed broadheads they work fine for me.
The finger protectors go on your finger and thumb. Really?
I know, but I have large hands it didn't seem that they would fit they are quite small, but thank you for your feedback. I hope you enjoy the video

Larger wound. Fixed can't match mechs.
Lol. What the hell Bobby. Fixed blades destroy bone. They do not have to close and go around. Broken bones hurt. Dadadadadummy

They are supposed to be under 100 grains for drag! Most mechanical heads fly low so he designed it that way!
One on the finger and the other one on the thumb and press both blades together and it works 😉

30$ a broadhead turned me off right away. Come on people get the price down, bye bye!!
Just because they are expensive doesn't mean they are good

You can shoot these broadheads for times at four different animals before having to sharpen them. And like they say you get what you pay for.
I’m more concerned with him being a convicted poacher.
Dude put one cover on your thumb and one on your index finger and squeeze them together your acting like its rocket science to get them closed smh

A little plumbers tape on the threads will keep them tight.

He said in the video that he made them 98 or 97 grains due to making them hit the target same as field tips
I think that they are awesome but I can't get over paying $60 for 2, with NO REPLACEMENT PARTS. I'm a believer but not a customer
The broadheads are good quality, but yeah, it would be cool to have them in a traditional 3 pack
The mfg did A LOT of research and T & E. The broadhead flew better at 97/98 gr than 100. I can handle that.
They are designed to be 98gr it’s supposed to be a ballistically the same as a 100 gr field point
