Purchase and import of new feature firearms/gear: Being in Canada, it is often difficult for manufacturers/distributors to send me firearms for testing and review. Instead, I often have to purchase them personally, and in some cases even import them into the country.
Ammunition: It takes funds to run the guns enough to be able to get a good overall impression for an accurate review.
Production value: I am always looking to add better camera and lighting gear to be able to improve the final product you see.
Range and targets: from more static steel targets, to future destructive target testing.
Travel to distributors/manufacturers/industry shows to get the content on the latest and greatest
This video is a first person shooting demonstration covering the G28’s controls, operation, and some of the features that make it special, as well as shooting impressions. We need to see some accuracy testing with this one, thats the main purpose of such fine rifle system
Yessir. I am currently exploring a format and site to better conduct accuracy videos. Looking to bring together some more gear to aid as well, such as a labradar.
1.5 moa with 147gr normal ammo, sub moa with match ammo 168gr, in standing position you can reach 3-4 moa but it take time it is very heavy.... i had 3.5 moa vertical difference in aiming point between cold and warm barrel (10shoot is enough to warm it ) this difference in aiming is always the same.
Send it off to nine hole reviews, would LOVE to see what they can do with it!
I would love to see robski switch from his current vintage rifles of the military focus, and focus on what the us army is using now with his outstanding skills/training

have you thought/are you will to change the handguard if it is effecting things so much to a smaller, lighter design?
-like the sureshot Russian system that seems promising and looks like it solves the issue, or the kinetic dev. The also seems to greatly lighten things up and that look really good!
would like to see someone like you with time behind the gun pick one of these up and see how much of a difference it will practically make for you!

SVD and HKG38 are the best semiatomatic rifles in accuracy. Other AR rifles are badly.
My brother was a recon sniper specialist in the army and he used this badass gun. The military made it custom to what he wanted and it was 15k. Unreal how expensive.
The first person perspective and you spinning the gun around reminds me of people in VR games.

Just a tip, instead of tape, for protecting the deflector, use one of those thingies, that you put under chairs and tables to protect the floor. You can get them in different colours, such as brown and you can cut them to fit your deflector perfectly.

@@Big6Duke if you were to buy an ar15 that cost 3k+ dollars, you don't want a piece of tape make it look cheap. This is just one tip of many, that will function very well and prevent your gun from looking cheap and/or stupid.

Nice rig! Only thing I would change is the position of the T1. Move it to the other side of the elevation turret. Or you won't be able to see how much you are dialing for range :) Good video!

I don’t think they will, Colt has been embedded in Canada and their military for quite a while now
True. I think Canadian gun owners need to start standing up for themselves, and for the hobbies we enjoy. I only say this because there is a lot of talk about the possible AR and variant ban.
Legislation is going through right now for a ban on “military style weapons”, sadly it will probably go through anyways, even though there are more gun owners (about 2.2 million gun owners in Canada) than the lobby group advocating for this. In fact the Lobby group wants to go even further than what the Liberal Government is going for, and wants a outright ban on guns entirely. There is a current petition on the on the House of Commons website to curtail this legislation. Though I doubt it will help since even the conservatives are going for it as well. There isn’t even going to be a confiscation by the way, just a Buy Back from gun owners of “military style weapons”.

Mosins ARE military rifles, but most people would think "thats just a hunting rifle adurrrrr". I like everything about the firearm except for the weight of it. The cheek piece that stays in place is pretty cool

Each german has this old riffle on the roof , when the bad times comes.
The newer version is an electrical dynamic rail gun ,but they are top secret atm. The Rail version has an bolt speed of 15000km/h a bit more, and the bolt leave the erth to go into orbit.

I enjoy your reviews and appreciate your time and effort. However, it would be nice to see some serious precision work, especially with rifles like this. 100 yard, of a bench properly supported eliminating as much as shooter error as possible, various types/brands of Match ammo and show us how well she does. In the end, its all about the groups. Velocities and variations are not so important. That would be more of an ammo review. Its a 308 and a short barrel. You get what you get. Practical Accuracy is key. Again, thank you for all your work. Much appreciated.
Note: Still trying to replace my AIAX with a Semi. I always thought this might be the one. Overbuild, super reliable, tough and relatively accurate? If only HK made them in a 6.5 Creedmoor. Wish-full thinking for now.

You said in the description: "This firearm is an AR15 Variant", G28 is based on AR-10.
I know that in Canada and Europe you can order the MR308 with the G-28 handguard and anodizing, but I didn't know HK sold the actual G-28 with the steel upper to civilians.

edit: U should have tried the scope on like 100yds+ see if HK actually sighted the gun in before packing, I wouldn't expect less of them!
Yeah I have one of the law tactical folders on the 12" 417. It's fantastic. I have it in some videos.

@@DKYouCanDoItAll they are only built in germany and cant be imported due to us import laws, you have to buy an mr762 and do some heavy cosmetic work and parts sourcing, especially the schmidt and bender scope is propably hard to find because ive never seen them outside of military and law enforcement and after all that you wont get the same accuracy out of the mr762 because of differences in barrel and upper.
i love the acog sight on top (correct me if that's the wrong term to use) so that you have some sort of mid range cqc situation covered already

hey just found the chan! youre doing awesome work. Side note on the 308 7.62 nato deal. nato spec cartridges have a slightly thicker wall to them, your typical ball ammo is going to be lower pressure than a 308win but from what i understand the reason for the thicker casing wall is because of machine guns. (after the chamber starts to get hot the thicker brass helps from brass getting ripped apart.

in Germany we sometimes call the G28/MR308 A28 the "motley" cow because of its different shades of tan.

I very seriously doubt it. This guy is Canadian, they can get the G28. The closest we can get is a parts gun refinished to make it look like a G28.

He pays for it and shoots it. It's a gun. It's NOT a Lambo. However almost as expensive. Lol. I once loved HK more than any weapons maker . Until I grew up and realized that there are many top tier manufacturers out there. Like Glock , Smith and Wesson, Daniel Defense, and BCM. I know HK is THE German gun but they are waaaaay too proud of their gear. Walther is as good in pistols and Sig out does them in rifles and sub guns. I have used the M27 in service but prefer my Daniel M4 . It's just as good and costs about 700 $ less. And u ain't giving up any quality at all.

I do plenty of still table top overviews where you can just look at the gun as well. I plan to release some static shooting videos that focus more on long distance and accuracy in the future.
Use helicopter tape to keep the brass from marking up the receiver its clear and can last for some time.

7.62x51 is nato 308 my friend. I understand what you’re saying, however the G 28 is a military rifle it was designed to be used with NATO rounds. For the money you spent on that rifle you should be able to shoot anything that is 7.62 x 51 308

Noticed the tape on the shell deflector...don't blame you a bit.
Handleitgrips makes a brass deflector adhesive pad for protecting the finish.
Yeah, but it doesn't bring a damn on there, the deflector on mine is pristine, but the rear edge of the ejection port opening get dinged quite a lot.
@@jollyroger7546 Sounds like an over gassed rifle. Ejection patterns differ between make and configuration. Loads can have an effect on ejection as well. Even environmental factors can make a difference. Everyone has a different experience.
