NM is Newton meters. In any case I absolutely love the safety although I tend towards the short throw I would gladly give that up for safe regardless of a dropped hammer.
Also quick remove fore end is amazing and needs to be on all my AR’s except maybe my Colt AR9 A1 because I simply have never nor will I ever clean it. (I mostly don’t clean my AR’s I just pull the BCG and slap a bit of oil on them although my 7.62x39’s get the hot water treatment if I shoot corrosive, (which I tend to avoid because Barnaul is cheap if you buy in bulk at the Reliable Gun annual sale).
"I'm not just some rich guy with guns...". LOL!! Yeah you are, own it! That said... You lucky bastard. An actual G28. Totally envious. I'm just hoping to come up with the $$$ to buy a MR762LRP when we retire down to PA in 4yrs or so (live in CT now), but might have to settle for (slowly) building one from a std MR762A1. I'd be very interested in finding out if the steel upper really adds to accuracy. I could see it being beneficial over multi-shot groups, steel is more thermally stable than aluminum (doesn't expand/shrink as much across a temp range). But does it really make that much of a difference? There's a few videos on "the Tube" that review the std 762, and in at least one, if not more than one, the guys reviewing it have said it's capable of sub-MOA accuracy with match ammo. That said... I'd take the steel upper any day. Just something about "steel" that has a certain allure. Who cares about the added weight, it's not like any of us are going to be lugging the thing around for hours at a time. They more than likely end up as "range queens" than not. At least that's what it would be in my hands... Enjoy your G28... Just about any gun fanatic is highly envious, anyone that's not is just jealous or can't afford one, or both!
Amazing collection I just acquired a second mr762 to complement the mr762lrp it is an amazing smooth weapon to shoot even my 12 year old daughter prefers to shoot it over ar15 she says it feels better to shoot but a bit heavy to bad about the suppressors in Canada
Keep up the great work from quebec btw have you heard of the maccabe defense ar15 lower receiver (non restricted) and if so could you make a video about it plz.
Hey great videos. I'd be interested in buying an hk 417. The lighter 16" version with aluminum action. Do you know where I could order one? The only ones I can find are the full g28 setup with the scope accessories that I don't want. Thanks
I was into getting the G28 but after I tried it here on a Swiss shooting range I was surprised that it wasn't more accurate than my 751 SAPR, but a lot heavier, therefore less recoil... But for my taste the system is just too heavy if you don't just want to shoot lying down.
It certainly is. The steel upper is really cool, but adds a lot of weight to the system. The new M110A1 CSASS Hk built for the US military did away with the steel receiver and went back to an aluminum alloy. Definitely want to get one of those as well someday.
@@armandgun I didnt know that, I thought they kept the steel receiver. I am still working in getting a machine shop to make me a steel upper to build some kind of "DI" copy of that rifle.
I am not 100% correct with my title. A 417 would be the oversized 416, however this is very very close. Production price on a 417 would likely be within $500-1000 of a 416. The G28 has a specialized steel upper receiver, rail, stock and barrel. As far as I can tell, they are typically several thousand more than a standard 417.
Haha that's 3 comments on colour. I am sorry you don't like the ral8000 colour pattern, I can agree it is an acquired taste. Thank you for all the engagement though!

Apc308 - yes! Looking forward to it. Let us know how the weight and handling feel compared to the other 308s.
thank you! Awesome video
APC308, yaaas! Wish they would make it in a 16” barrel.

At 3.57 this is not a hammer drop safety, it is a anti slamfire feature.
Great overview but what’s up with the low bitrate video quality 🤔

How much did this sweet rifle go for?
Keep up the great work from quebec btw have you heard of the maccabe defense ar15 lower receiver (non restricted) and if so could you make a video about it plz.
I have a receiver set actually. I just need to grab a few more parts and then build it. I will absolutely do videos on it.
Arm&Gun is it worth it ? Im thinking about buying it ... And is it compatible with any other ar15 type parts?
13:52 Don't do them pre-coffee, I need that speedy data overflow review

Watch out the HK (Online-) Shop, i'm shure you'll find one there.
Could you please Make a Video how to clean it ?
pretty slick, do you prefer that accu tac bipod over an atlas?
Meant to say, looking forward to the apc308 a ton!

Is that an actual g28? Is the upper receiver made of steel ?

You can always ship me your Harris and I'll give it a good home.
Does anyone know if the hand guard comes with the barrel nut ?
How does this compare to the sig 716 g2?
When was this made to be prohibited??
Most folks who work on their own guns generally have the same hammer 👍👎
Ok I went to look the cost is $416 💸 dollars not bad for a sweet rifle I thought it was going to cost thousands of dollars.
where did you source this bad boy from
The one and only Wolverine Supplies.
Price paid?
How do you have a suppressor in Canada
It's fake
This isn’t like the BRN 180 at all this has a buffer tube and a BCG like an AR-15 it uses a short stroke piston but in no way is it like a 180
Please tell me I can buy one of these in the US!! Also, please tell me it cost less than $16,000!!!
how much money u have?
*How much is his brother HK416 ?*

Thanks a lot for the response. I appreciate.
Isn't it more logical to say that HK 417 is the big brother of HK 416?
I'm colorblind, and I know that could be the worst colors ever collected on a weapon.

Flash hider copy of SVD
Meh, not as cool as a hi-point, but kind of close.😊
NM= neuton METER ... cuz we are not americans
So... It's basically just an overpriced AR10
