    John Stockton was Badass. Most people don't respect the 50-40-90 guys like him & Mark Price. The difference? Price scored in the pick n roll, Stockton passed. All time steals leader too. Strong with that dirty 80's 90's defense. You gotta respect him!

    • @eggoslayer1001
      @eggoslayer1001 4 роки тому +25

      He was great at everything. One of the best PG defenders ever. One of the best passers ever. He was a top tier shooter. He was tough as nails and would set screens on dudes twice his size and he fouled hard, he didn't care. He was also capable of taking over games and being the primary scoring at any given moment and I wish that was something people recognized more. He could have averaged 20+ PPG a night but it was more effective for him to be the distributor. He had a good bag of tricks, like he could get to the basket at will, hit pull up jumpers, crossover guys, and spot up shoot. Dude was a super complete player.

He grinds it into you that he’s going to run that high-low and pass the ball off and go stand around. And then when you adjust, he dishes it to Hornacek for the free throw line jumper. And then when you sag off to guard both plays, he hits that dagger 3. Always a step ahead. Never missed the playoffs in 19 years. Sign me up for a PG like that.

    This by far the favorite moment of all Jazz fans. I remember running around the house just screaming and cheering! Neighbors were driving around honking their horns, it was a great day! Stockton was a beast, Russell with two big 3s, Ostertag locking up Dream, Karl did get away with bear hugging Clyde though lol…..

    Houston really needed to slow down and run some clock around the 4-minute mark. They were moving way to fast at the end of the game, the way they were running down the court in the final minutes you would have thought they were down by 10 instead of leading. Horrible clock management and desperation when it wasn't needed caused them to turn the ball over and miss shots. If they sit on the ball, they win this game and force a game seven. I just don't get what they were trying to accomplish. It just makes them look stupid.

    • @epicnord491
      @epicnord491 Рік тому +1

      Also, why the hell didn't Drexler drain more clock to take the final shot. Just frustrating to watch Houston completely blow a game they had won.
